Terrible scammers
Eco Living InteriorI got my money back by opening a PayPal dispute. If you used a card, contact your bank and request a chargeback. Report them to the ACCC.
I ordered and they emailed back very fast. Then...nothing. I called, went to their office, emailed, all to no avail.
Purchased in for $270.
Terrible business
Eco Living Interior Low SheenI placed an enquire with Ecolour, received a positive reply so I placed a $550 order.Six weeks later still nothing but generic email responses, their Fyshwick store closed because of problems with the paint, they take the money but don’t deliver, very unimpressed

A RIP OFF! They took my money but never sent the product!
Eco Living Interior SatinI ordered my paint early Jan 2022 and as at mid Feb 2023 it still hasn't arrived! I have phoned both the 1300 number and the Melbourne number with only an automated recorded message asking me to leave a message which I did but no reply. There is no human being answering the phone for this business. I have sent 4 emails asking what is going on. For one of those emails I received a text message asking me to send an email! I finally gave up and asked for a refund to which I have had no response and received no paint as yet. This company used

Paint is good
Eco Living InteriorThe paint is good, however it took six weeks to arrive. When I phoned to find out what was happening, my calls were never picked up and phone messages never replied to. After a few weeks I sent emails and did get some 'it's being looked into' replies.
In fairness to Ecolour, the delivery delay was the couriers who apparently misplaced the parcel, but it was distressing not to have any of my many phone calls to Ecolour replied to, especially when it dragged on for six weeks.
Having said that, the paint, which I'm now using is good. Goes on easily, a nice finish and hardly any smell.
Later - I put in a 2nd order and it arrived promptly. Very happy with the paint, would definitely use it again.

Eco Living InteriorI have now been waiting over three weeks for two separate orders, I paint for a living they where happy to take my money, have of ores my calls I believe its just a guy running a business of his mobile phone, my emails replied to with generic lies, I had hoped to promote this company having used them in the past, I now have two unfinished jibs before Christmas and out of pocket big time, won't use this useless out for again even though the paint is good, shocking lack of customer care

Love this paint!
Eco Living Interior Low SheenWe're so impressed with the quality of the eColour paint, and very grateful for the excellent customer service we received.
The application is just like every other paint. But it's so much better, because there's no nasty smells, it dries really fast, and it looks beautiful. We slept in the rooms that night, and there was no smell at all.
The customer service from Nathan was excellent. He always took the time to answer all of my questions, which made the process so much easier, and so much more pleasant. Truly appreciated.

awful service. took nearly 3 weeks to arrive and the colour is incorrect
Eco Living Interior Low Sheenthe paint itself is lovely quality and I have used it before. however my experience this time has been dreadful. they state next day delivery. I had a message that the gloss enamel was not available and I would need to take satin if I wanted it the next day. a few days later the satin enamel arrived but not the wall nor ceiling paint... i kept being told these were on the way... after a couple of weeks the ceiling paint arrived - in a bucket that has a ridiculously difficult to use lid. another week went by without any sign of the wall pai

I asked for my order to be cancelled and refunded and I went and purchased my selected colour elsewhere. the next day I got a message that the paint was on the way! they were not refunding... the paint arrived the following week but the colour is incorrect - not even close to the colour that I had asked for. I had to go and buy more paint and repaint over the incorrect colour. they wasted so much of my time and my money. I have asked repeatedly for a refund and not gotten any response. I would not buy from them again. there are many low voc options that are fine and much easier to get.Purchased in for $558.

Great experience.
Eco Living Interior Low SheenCustomer service was exceptional. Some very helpful advice was provided over the telephone. I ordered online and the paint was delivered to my door (in Adelaide) less than 24 hours after ordering!
The paint provided great coverage on the bedroom Walls (2 coats), and had minimal smell on application. The tint was exactly what I asked for.
My painter initially complained that the paint was too thin (thinner than other conventional brands he was used to using), however he soon got used to the consistency and was able to complete the job to an excellent standard.

Such an ethical company
Eco Living Interior SatinWe're using their paint for our 50's restoration. In this instance, a Cottage Cream gloss for kitchen cabinet doors. Rolls on very smoothly, dries very quickly, zero VOCs, a couple of coats & the result is great. When we want more paint, we'll be coming back to Ecolour

Wonderful finish with no toxic fumes
Eco Living Interior Low SheenUsed it on the whole interior of our house. Works brilliantly and doesn't smell bad or have any toxic fumes. We will definitely continue to use this paint. Delivery and phone service was also great.

Easy to use
Eco Living Interior SatinThis is a paint that painters will love to use. It is non-toxic and therefore non-smelly which is why most people choose it. But what is it like to apply? I found it a beautiful texture that flows off the brush or roller with ease, and importantly, with few drips. With a properly primed surface you could almost get away with just one coat, although I chose two coats just to be certain. It dries quickly allowing for two coats in the one day. I applied the paint in wet areas and a kitchen and it has a nice, not too shiny appearance that is easy t

Pros: Non-toxic Easy to apply Thick coats with no show through Cons: The thick coats means that coverage per litre may be slightly less than expected, which didn't bother me at all, because the outcome was so impressivePurchased in .

Best toxic free paint on the market
Eco Living Interior Low SheenAfter painting 3 bedrooms and an entrance foyer the paint I was really happy with the quality and ease of painting. It was touch dry within 20 minutes. No odour. No toxins. Excellent finish.

Good paint - try it!
Eco Living Interior SatinCan said 20 mins touch dry and re-coat in 2 hours; spot on timing; finish was excellent - very smooth and not too glossy; went on easily, especially with roller. Painted change table for baby, so wanted a non toxic paint - very hard to source, so worth the cost and delivery(which was very prompt too). Because I had raw timber in spots I applied an undercoat/primer and sanded between each coat(lightly). Used 3 coats, but 2 would have been enough!

Questions & Answers
I purchased 4L of a colour they come back and say they couldn't make up. I got a response in March updating them I am not ready. And within the time of figuring out a new colour, plastering and priming. It seems the shop is closed, phone dead, no email and they owe me money about $100. I should have asked for a refund. They moved from Byron Bay and have never been a problem before every time I order paint.
Is the shop closed now ? I needed more primer I only just recently ordered paint.
How do I get my money back now ? I'm forced to look for paint elsewhere but is not going to match the walls. Its a Taubmans and they dont do ultra low VOC like Dulux has now. I may be forced to repaint all the walls. Touching up in the future will be hard too.
Yeah, the business has disappeared. I got a refund because I paid via PayPal with buyer protection. PayPal investigated the case and issued me a refund. Their business phone is dead, although if you send an email as a new customer to order paint - they will reply and take your money, but don't expect any paint. It was a great business, something changed? Maybe someone new bought it and they couldn't manage it properly. Who knows? I wouldn't recommend doing business with these people. You might have to cut your losses and look elsewhere.
This is very bad. I have Taubmans Snowbank on the wall. It means I have to repaint everything and lost thousands. Taubmans ultra low VOC has toxic Microban in it and claim greentag. Dulux has an Enviro2 option but no idea how much that is. There is a company called Tint who could go the same way as Ecolour I'm not sure if its worth the risk. There was not much options at the time in 2019. Porter's paints is low VOC but $150 a tin.
I'm looking at Porter's Paint. Its low VOC and green tag but so much more expensive than Ecolour and doesnt match Dulux and Taaubmans. Painttint might be too risky and do a runner too. I did not expect this, they did a runner with my money I have had to ask consumer affairs how to reclaim my money, it was months ago I purchased and only got one of the 4L buckets because they couldnt match a Dulux. It looks like I have to repaint the whole house with a different brand and colour. And the 4L of Auburn Flair I bought is a waste if I can't get more of the same paint again. Its another Taubmans. I cant even touch up the skirtings so have to buy a different eco enamel and colour in Porter's paint or paintint or Enviro2 as last resort.
Dulux Enviro2 undercoat only comes in 10-15L. Dulux do a non green tagged low VOC undercoat or it's porters paint undercoat. Taken all week to figure out.
I need to paint 5 rooms (interior). Could you please tell me the price for a 15L white color paint?
Hi, apologies for no response, this is not a site regularly monitored (we don't get notifications when questions posted which makes things tricky). Better later than never I guess. 15L in Eco Living Low Sheen is $226. All information available at www.ecolour.com.au Regards, Ecolour
