supplied for my booking via Economy Rentals contact us page which sends you round in circles un-necessarily. Im on my 3rd email request, so that parts not great.

My first time with Economy Car Rental and it wasn't a disappointment. Service was polite and professional and returning the car was very a swift and hassle-free process taking only a few minutes. Similar to Belinda M. I paid a deposit with Economy but the car was actually sub-hired from Enterprise who would not deduct the deposit from the payment at return. The car was very basic and tyre pressures were very low. Will avoid Economy in future. Show details

car hire £1560, i was asked for£2695 which I refused to pay And was told I couldn't have the car. I returned to airport and rented a car from hertz with only a £200. Deposit. Customer service is non existent, only interested in taking your money. Don't be enticed by there cheap priced Rentals, its a scam.

radio was not working and could not received a clear signal A/C not working (warm/hot air only) Small ants throughout car Exterior of car was not clean, bird poo, dirt and dust Pick Up: 1.5 hours to locate driver as he was very unaware of the correct location Kept saying he would come find us and never did Did not speak english enough to receive instructions on how to go to correct location Lost several times and used up fuel in vehicle Airport staff in the PUBLIC pick up and drop off location had to translate and explain the correct location No international contact phone number listed on any correspondence Had to use security's personal phone to call the 0800 number which took a considerable amount of time to get an answer No call access in the airport as there are no payphones at the pick up points. We were not taken to the car we booked and paid for.

Drop off was equally painful. We clearly explained exactly where we were located. Had to park in paid parking as it took so long for driver to collect us.

I will never recoommend this company ever to anyone.

STAY CLEAR of this third-party booking platform - SCAM- Book directly with the Hire car company. When picking up the vehicle I advised a deposit was paid. The guy was adamant I did not and refused to deduct the monies already paid. As I had a family waiting and was over the never-ending answer I paid again. for the return of my deposit with crickets. Not one response or a refund. They acknowledged my email but not the content. Moral to the story stay away.

The requirement of a $1000 security deposit was not clear until after I had booked. I had carefully read the page before booking and there was no mention of the security deposit. I rang them and they refused to refund the fee I had paid even after I had cancelled the booking. This is unethical business practice.

1 star is to much. This company is the worst. Don't book with them because they only take your money and not give you a car. When you ask for refund, it take ages to answer and they try to find any excuses for no refund. A total scam

Economy Car Rentals. I approached ECR about this and, despite it being my issue, they were extremely helpful and refunded me the insurance in full. Any problems I have had, and they have been very few, have always been handled with the same courtesy and professionalism. I also want to state that the providers ECR use have always been excellent, the vehicles provided matching or bettering the description and the procedures for pick up and drop off being professional and easy with great customer service. I definitely recommend Economy Car Rentals (indeed have a few times).

Booking process was fine but they are just a 3rd party front for other budget car rental companies. DO NOT take out the full cover option - do this direct with the car company they use. I got caught and found I would still have to pay the excess then claim it back off Economy. What's more, they only pay $1700 euro so you are still out out of pocket for the diference. We had very good helpful service,I highly recommend them. We picked our car up from Newquay airport. The team were very helpful and grea5 customer service we would definitely use them again. I booked a car and then noticed a better deal. They helped me cancel and get my deposit back and rebook me with the better deal. The car was good and pick up and drop off was easy. I have used them twice now and will use them in 6 months again. Show details ·  1

Vehicle, airport pick up and drop off were fine. However, we were not informed that we needed at least a 1-year valid driver's license(both our licenses were valid but less than 12 months to the renewal) from our home country(Australia), which meant we could not obtain a Sri-Lankan license at the airport therefore had no insurance for the first 5 days of our 18 day hire until it was sorted. Show details

Customer service great, Bond paid when I booked the car and paid the full payment when we arrived at the car rental place. The car I had booked was in good condition and great to drive. Will use them again as the price for renting a car is very good compared with other car rentals Show details
