Evolve were very competitively priced, and the transfer to and from the airport with the uber voucher was simple. This was only a 5 min transfer which will save you a lot of money on car hire. The 2 cars I had were very new and of a good spec. Show details

We reserved our vehicle thru Expedia. The prices were very reasonable. Directions were given as how to pick up the vehicle once we landed in Australia. the staff were amazing and made the whole transaction so easy. The vehicle we received was almost brand new. Dropping it back went so smoothly as well. We were taken back to the airport and we flew home. I would say it was one of the less stressed car rentals we have ever had. I would certainly rent from them again. Thank you

the one I was expecting, however that didn't matter to me. My own car took 3 weeks longer than expected to be repaired, so I needed to extend my rental period twice. This was handled really well with a quick phone call each time. The only issue I had was that because the cars are registered with the company for tolls and attracted an extra charge each time a toll is used, I had to drive the long way to and from work to avoid paying a lot extra each week. It didn't matter fuel wise as the car ran on the smell of an oily rag, but it did add about 1.5 hours per week to my travel time. I asked about having to toll fees put on my own Linkt account, but apparently sometimes Linkt gets confused and charges both the customer's account and Evolve. I have rented moving vans several times from the company before, when it was Andy's Rentals, and would highly recommend them to everyone.

improve the process for future customers. Unfortunately, the Uber fare was also charged to our personal account instead of being covered by the voucher, and we are still waiting for this to be refunded.

Our biggest disappointment came when returning the vehicle. We returned it with more fuel than when we collected it, yet we were charged for an additional tank of fuel. Resolving this has been frustrating, with the refund process far from straightforward, and we are still trying to have the incorrect fuel charge refunded. UPDATE: refund has now been processed and we appreciate Matt’s professionalism and the way he handled this.

Overall, the car itself was excellent, but the post-rental billing issues and the difficulty in resolving them have overshadowed what otherwise would have been a positive experience.

Priced at $82 for the day reads well BUT the wording could be clearer on the default option as this invokes a $7500 excess that is not refundable. Fortunately the staff today was knowledgeable and we could discuss the pros and cons at checkin. I… Read more ·  1

chose to pay an extra $40 for insurance and a $300 bond. So the $82 fee became a realistic $120/day. There are other rentals around that are cheaper on an apples for apples comparison. Also I was cautious that the terms and conditions are entirely geared to extract extra cash for infractions, so much so I am still wary that there will be some gotcha declared over the coming days that will profit from the bond money. It's an uneasy feeling that may be unfounded. The vehicle was great. Clean, healthy and with quality fittings for the cage. Drove well and was a nice experience to use. I washed it and spotlessly cleaned the cage area however given the torrential rain for the day, its hard to know if it will be deemed as cleaned enough. I haven't rented a vehicle in decades and all I see is angles to not refund the bond. This may be the method all rentals use, I dont know.

Arrival and collection was great. The little MG was ok but probably needing a service? Staff were friendly and helpful. Drop off at Tweed Heads was good and a nice friendly lift to bus depo after hand over. Had to take the car back 4 days early and did understand theres no refunds but thought we should of at least got the insurance money refund??? All in all no regrets and happy. Thanks

The vehicle suited our purpose. The only problem was on the pick up on Sunday afternoon. It was not indicated that the car was on the road and not in the locked compound.

Very rude patronising staff member. Refused to collect us from airport. Refused to give us a Kia Picanto which was available in yard. Refused to accept the insurance we had paid for through Carjet. Picking the car up was a nightmare due to the above issues. Show details

We really appreciated your support & help, getting us a car & we made it to the funeral. However we were disappointed when charged for 2 days car hire, when we only had the vehicle for 1 day. Unfortunately a miss communication. The vehicle was perfect.

So easy to work with. They organised a free pick up from Brisbane airport to the rental faciility. Most inortantly i was able to drip the csr off in tbe Gold Coast so didnt have to go back to brisabane

We hired a 3t truck to move some furniture up to the Sunshine Coast, the pick up was very easy and everything thoroughly explained, the truck run well and hand over back was simple, great service and highly recomend using them.

I was really happy with the process renting a car from Evolve rentals. We arrived late and I found the process really easy. We had a call before to check all good to go and received all the relevant information. The car was clean and full of fuel which was great after a long trip to get there.

Car was very clean and drove well. Only thing that was disappointing was the tyre pressure sensor turned on once we left the depot. Both rear tyres were only at 20psi so had to fill them up and also we hired a Mitsubishi ASX and were given a GWM Havel instead. Show details
