Very Surprised Electrolux! – I bought this vacuum second hand and the previous owners did not maintain it. Full of fine dust and needed a clean! Have ordered a new cone filter and replaced the others. It is very easy to move around powerful suction, great long cord, long wand, and I must say, I love the three in one tool too! Its Excellent fur pick up of the couch and picks… Read more
up all the dirt off the floor, doesn't flick any dirt from the head like my old Dyson barrel did! Negatives would be the filters, if Electrolux can come up with filters like a Dyson and a one push cord retraction, it would be perfect!
Clogs easily, overheats and not the best customer experience – I use the vacuum cleaner on engineered floorboards once a week, no kids, no pets. The sponge filter requires regular cleaning, and the hair regularly wraps itself around the round filter in the turbo cyclonic compartment. I also empty the dust collection compartment before it hits the max line. Yet over time, slowly it loses suction, and the… Read more
vacuum cleaner overheats, smells of burnt plastic and eventually dies.
As the first vacuum cleaner was slowing down, we purchased another of the same vacuum cleaner, the same symptoms occur - loses suction, then later starts overheating, and shuts itself off regularly. I gave up and reached out to Electrolux via email, explaining that my family has been big fans of Electrolux for a long time, this is my second vacuum cleaner of the same model that is doing the same thing. I was asked to bring it to a service centre about 30 minutes away, with no promises I will be looked after. I have spent $600 on both vacuum cleaners that do not go the distance electrolux products used to.

Solid vacuum with powerful suction – We have had this vacuum for about 4 years and only had minor issues with it so in all honesty very happy with it. Currently, I vacuum roughly half my house of carpet and the other half is vinyl plank (plus a small tiled section in the laundry....as long as the floor is entirely dry!!!). I also vac the couch as we like letting our super sweet, yet… Read more
VERY fluffy border collie inside and he seems to leave fur everywhere!...nothing the electrolux cant handle. About 6 months ago we ran into our first little issue with the vacuum as some of the plastic bits and screws had snapped off the bottom of the actual vac part where all the dust goes. Another section of plastic broke which was to keep the handle connected to the body of the vac when not in use (to keep it looking neat) so that has been a little annoyance too.
Bagless vacs are definitely the way to go. Would happily get an electrolux as our next vacuum which will be a stick vac; but again will do research to make sure we are buying a top notch product.
Disgusting customer service! – Purchased this vacuum back in 2017, works great if you don’t mind cleaning filters every couple of weeks, also has very small dust bin. My problem is the handle has broken at least once a year since I purchased it, it is definitely a design fault. No problems with getting this replaced while vacuum was under warranty but since warranty ran out on… Read more
the vacuum they have been extremely difficult even though the part it’s self is still under 12 month replacement warranty. The handle broke again , I phoned Electrolux on the 17 June 2020 and let them know . The handle was only replaced on the 4 July 2019 at the service centre they sent me to so still just under warranty . The lady I spoke to was lovely and could see all information in front of her in regards to the handle constantly having to be replaced, she said they would send me out a new handle with no problems. 2 weeks have gone by and no handle has turned up so I called again and conveniently they have no record of me phoning on the 17 June or any of the other handle replacements since the vacuum went out of warranty. So be very careful if you purchase anything from Electrolux and keep all your correspondence from them as I have, always get a reference number when speaking to anyone unfortunately I didn’t do this so now I will have to go though consumer affairs. Unfortunately because of this situation I will never purchase anything with the Electrolux name again. By the way the vacuum I had before was a Dyson which I had for 10 years without having to replace anything before it died , stupid me listened to a friend who had this vacuum and loved it then, but has since had to replace hers with a Dyson.
Great suction! – Our Electrolux Ultraflex vacuum cleaner has performed extremely well after a couple years of ownership. We purchased this as a replacement for a Dyson DC54. The sales representative seemed impartial and suggested we go for the Electrolux for better performance & price in lieu of Dyson. After a few uses, it was very clear that the suction of the… Read more
Electrolux was better than the old Dyson. After regular use, i can say that the electrolux is very maneuverable and practical to use. We have multiple floor surfaces in our house (tile, timber and carpet) and the Electrolux does well on all surfaces. It is important to use the correct head, but most of the time, i use the slimline head as it gets under some furniture and is a good allrounder. The powerhead works really well to pick up hair and other items that often gets stuck into carpet. Our young children have no issue using this vacuum and maneuvering it around corners and tight spaces around the house, so that's a big plus! Another positive, is that the power cable is quite long for that extra reach and retracts very well each time. The filters work very well as i dont notice dusty air while vacuuming. Compared to my old Nilfisk barrell and Dyson DC54, the filtration on the Electrolux flex seems to perform better in my opinion. The main filter can be washed which is handy as you dont have to buy replacements. The machine has 5 power levels , of which we use the max power most of the time. The only time I reduce the power level is to vacuum sensitive areas around my desk & computer , which is very convenient, so you dont suck up things unnecessarily. The noise level is fair for a vacuum cleaner. I highly recommend the Electrolux Flex vacuum - great price & performance.

Can not live without it!!! – We've got a hairy dog and toddler and I've had this for so long, I would die without it. Easy to use and it is not that expensive. Would buy another one if I could Show details
Great vacuum for pet hair – I bought this vacuum in 2015 as have a shedding dog. It is excellent at picking up dog hair on all surfaces - tiles, carpets and rugs and was surprising how much hair came out of the shag rug the first time esp as it had already had been vacuumed with our old machine. It’s easy to manoeuvre esp on hard floors and is easy to empty. I’ve had no… Read more
trouble with it turning off as some reviewers have had. Cleaning of filters is easy but they can take time to air dry. It’s now 6years old and suction is as strong as ever.
The best vacuum cleaner I've ever had – I've had my ultraflex for just over 3 years now and its brilliant. It's got a great suction, lightweight, relatively quiet and the filters are easy to clean. The cord us a decent length too. I cant recommend it enough Show details
Negative reviews
It doesn’t do the job – It just isn’t powerful enough. No matter how much I clean it (which is a lot because grit quickly clogs it up), it is super frustrating to use because of how weak it is. Not only that but it cuts out suddenly for no apparent reason and won’t start again for an hour or so - seems like an overheating issue, but can happen even when the weather is… Read more
cold and it hasn’t been used much. I paid quite a bit of money because I wanted to finally have a decent vacuum cleaner, but this turned out to be yet another lemon. Just got a Miele C3 and I’m finally happy with a vacuum cleaner. This one? I’ve come to hate it.
Where are the spare parts? – Works well when it works is temperamental clogging quite easily , fiddly to clean. Its impossible to find replacement filters when they perish. The Electrolux site does not even list this model Show details
POOR E Vac – This machine has limited suck/vac..needs cleaning regularly to be effective...hose is of poor quality, gets twisted easily..the retract electrical cable doesn't always retract as it's supposed to..I am disappointed really Show details

Good middle of the range – I have hard floors in most of my house and carpet in the bedrooms.on hard floors the vacuum was fine but I did not find gave a deep clean in the carpets which was disappointing because I thought everything else about the vaccine was good. Show details
Brilliant vac – Best Vac even picks up dog fur weaved into fabrics/carpet, every fine bit of dust, do need to wash the front sponge filter every month or so, dont mind doing that because i know how thorough this machine works, after 3 years, only now needing to replace the rear filter, kits are easily available to replace filters at a cost of 28$. Excellent suction – I purchased this vacuum cleaner 3.5 years ago from Harvey Norman. I paid $279 on sale (price matched). I use it almost daily (minimum 5 times per week) to vacuum the living area, hallway and 3 large bedrooms which are all carpet. Some days it’s used more than once. In that time it’s never lost suction. I am so impressed with the amount of dust… Read more
it gathers every time I use it. I regularly bash out the big filter, but as yet have never needed to replace any of the filters. The only fault I’ve had in that time is the plastic piece that slots the hose to the wand cracked about a year ago, which I’ve stuck together with sticky tape and haven’t thought about again. I’ve had a Dyson(2015), and an earlier model Electrolux (2010) and the Electrolux is definitely the vacuum I would recommend. I can’t comment on customer service as i’ve never used it.
Great Product. Easy to Use – Great product as it is very powerful. Works and does the job. Quite pricey but it is an electrolux product so usually priced about this amount. Have owned products from this brand before and it usually lasts long. Show details
Champion product – Excellent vacuum cleaner. Powerful and sturdy. A bit heavy but can handle tough situations. Easy to clean and large wheels making the movements easier. Handle is strong and accessories suits for all needs including vehicle cleaning. Show details
Great, powerful vacuum cleaner – We used this vacuum cleaner to vacuum carpet and tiles each week. The suction power is so strong that the carpet often lifts when vacuumed. One downside is the cumbersome weight that needs to be carried around as the machine does not have smooth-manoeuvring wheels. Show details
Great product and great power – I have an Electrolux vacuum, it is one of the best i have used so far. It is way better than other budget vacuums. It's quite easy to use and move around , and long cord helps to clean large areas without being removed the cable. Show details
It's just so good it sucks up everything – I ain't got no picture but I must say I like it it's really good i got no worry about picking rubbish off the floor because the vacuum helps lot Show details
Good value – Great vacuum cleaner, does an excellent job on cat hair, although you need to clean the filters regularly. Broke the handle after almost 2 years and they cheerfully replaced it, remarkably being delivered the day after I reported it. Could not be happier. Show details
Rubbish Toy – This machine failed within 3 weeks. Very sad considering this was a great Australian company once. Supposedly anyway. I won’t be buying Electrolux goods ever again. They were good with the refund though. Show details
Good product – I bought Electrolux vaccume cleaner from harvey norman. This is very quite and it take all stuff from ground. This has wet and dry options for cleaning. This is bagless vaccume.

Bring back the old version of the rectangle cube Electrolux Vacuum Cleaner! – This model can be used on any floor surfaces from the old and new, to any type of hard floorings of the tiles, and floor boards to even getting to the hard to reach places like vacuuming to get rid of spider cob webs in the ceilings, Thanks to the long hose and extendable metal pole I love! It has a great strong sucking horse power motor as it is… Read more
bagless, But I DO NOT recommend to buy it, if your house is old that collects a lot of dust as the motor tends to pause as it overheats due to the fast collection of dust. The negative part of the vacuum cleaner itself is of the foot that is attached to the metal pole, Why is it so chunky as to how the old Retangle tube Electrolux had a skinnier foot easy to use and now the foot of my vacuum cleaner , the wheel rubbers has loosened up making it hard for me to vacuum without the foot jamming and jarring in the way.
Great Vacuum Cleaner, turbo head removes all pet hair – This cleaner is ideal on hard floors and the turbo head is perfect for the carpets, has great suction when the filters are not blocked. the cord is quite long, so you can use it within a 30mtr radius, it's light to carry around easy clean canister and the filters are cost efficient. The only down turn is the turbo head is a bit hard to get the… Read more
hair out, just needs to be an adjustable brush remover. Had this cleaner for over 4 years and love it. I have a Golden Retriever and a Cat so there is a lot of fur loss and this cleaner does it's job perfectly
Light to use - 12m cord - 2 heads – I borrowed this vac from daughter & found it did a good job on carpet, tiles and wood floor and window tracks. I have a bad right shoulder so found the head a bit difficult to take off - no trouble for able bodies. Daughter used it to vac my mattress. I loved the 12m cord and ease of getting under the lounge without having to move heavy furniture. Very impressed. One would need adequate storage space. Show details
Awesome cleaner! – We have carpet and rug in our house and we have a dog living inside. Cleaning it was a disaster until we found this vacuum cleaner. It is amazingly great picking up everything, even the tiniest dust on the floor! Highly recommended! Show details
Amazing suction – This vacuum is amazing. I have a German shepherd who sleeps inside, and sheds everywhere. This picks up everything. It’s super light weight so I actually enjoy vacuuming now. It’s great! Show details
This vacuum has some serious design faults that need to be addressed (or ours is faulty) – Having moved on from a previous Electrolux, the Ultra Performer which was excellent, we had no hesitation in looking at another Electrolux. We use this vacuum on hard floors only and the machine is filled with dust and lint within minutes. The cone type filter on the top of the machine gets clogged instantly and the filters get dirty within a few… Read more
minor uses. The performance of the vacuum dramatically drops if you don't clean these filters and empty the canister, which I understand, but surely not after 5 minutes?! There is no way you can even complete 4 rooms unless you empty it completely and clean out the cone filter. It also pushes out a lot of heat. We also purchased the Silent Parketto hard floor nozzle which is apparently "quieter" but that is totally false. I find it interesting now this vacuum is discontinued?
Does the job. Let's see how long it lasts – This vacuum cleaner is used only on tiled floors (and for cleaning the car), so I can't really comment on how well it cleans carpeted floors. Pros: Adequate suction, long cord, easy to empty and clean dust container, convenience of all-in-one accessory tool. Cons: Looks and feels like it's made with cheap plastics, so I'm not overly confident… Read more · 1
how long it wall last. The all-in-one accessory tool is difficult to detach once used and in crevice tool mode isn't very long; individual tools would have been better (but of course dearer to produce).
It's also pretty noisy.
I do get the feeling that this vacuum cleaner has been built down to a price, but to be fair it has reasonable suction, is easy to use and is pretty compact to store. It doesn't seem especially prone to tipping over and is relatively easy to maneuver.
So on the face of it I'd have to say it's OK and I would recommend it.
Disappointed – We've had this vacuum over 2 years & although it has great suction on our high pile carpet it overheats all the time & the power head keeps cutting out. Just out of warranty & power head is completely dead:( Might be OK if you don't use it too frequently but considering the cost I would not recommend it. Show details
Does a great job but could improve some areas – I am quite impressed with this vacuum cleaner. I must say that it is the best vacuum I have owned so far. It sucks well even when the rug looks clean, it still manages to pick up dust, lots of it, when you see it filling up inside the bag less bit. The downside for me is that it shuts down automatically for sometime, perhaps from overheating at… Read more
the maximum number 5 but I'm not sure if this is the reason. My other concern is that although it does an impressive job at suction, the connecting stick/brush becomes weak when picking up dirt from the rug at a certain stage. I started noticing this after a few months after usage.

So disappointing – Being an 'Animal Allergy Pro' I expect this vacuum to be very efficient in picking up pet hair but this is not the case. When using the vacuum Dog hair keeps building up around the conical filter Hair comes up out of the dust bin and sits at the dust bin opening (the dust bin is not full) The turbo head only works on very low pile carpet The… Read more
filter smells even after being rinsed and dried after each use as well as replaced every few months
Electrolux tell me this is all normal and part of customer maintenance, they were very unhelpful.
Works OK but plastic used is useless – We have owned our machine for 3.5 years and as far as cleaning house (and car is concerned) the vacuum cleaner works well. BUT... we had the cleaning head (not a power head) replaced under warranty and now the replacement is also stuffed. Our Tellus lasted us 20+ years but this one requires a new head and hose. And because it has a square filling,… Read more
generic heads don't fit.
So if you don't use it often and are real gentle with it, it will work well for you, but otherwise don't expect the bits made of plastic to last. I expected a lot more for my money as this isn't a cheap machine.
Not Happy Stops working in 40 min – The vacuum cleaner stops after 40 minutes of work from over heat. Is there a solution to have this resolved? I don't know. I need help I do not want to buy another vacuum cleaner, Well not Electrolux that's for sure! I am looking fo an alternative to Electrolux vacuum cleaner Show details

Rubbish – We have owned this vacuum for around 8 months after owning 2 Dyson machines. Since we’ve had it, it has blocked multiple times, the filters need constant cleaning, the turbo head intermittently looses power and now the handle has cracked. Purchased after recommendation from a consumer site. Initially cleaned well but long term it has been a poor choice. Poor quality in all respects, I would not recommend. Show details
