Do not deal with this company. Sent me the wrong item and has no intention of making good. Want me to buy unwanted item at 15% off or post back at my expense before sending my order. Will string you along and ask for evidence time and time again. The worst company ever
I’m another person who ordered and wished I had done my homework first !! Thought it was an Aussie company , what they offer re refund is untrue !, Offering various discounts to keep a jumper that does not fit, poor material.etc etc. Use Facebook for marketing , let’s all put negative reviews on their site and see if they leave them up. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. The dress is not cotton, it's some cheap synthetic that is way too big. I so far have 7 email messages back and forth with this company and all I get is nonsense from them. I will be disputing the charge with my bank, I have the receipts. Show details

I refuse their offer of a 30% partial discount as the dress was also too large .I was requested to return the dress back to China at a specific address. I will not buy from ELLA WEAR again after I read the reviews and notice others had the same problem. I was weary of giving further bank details.
I purchased the Eliza dress after seeing it on the Ellawear website, it looked lovely. Ellawear to ask for a refund and l was offered a 50% discount if l chose another item. I declined the offer and insisted on a refund. I was told l would have to return the dress to China at my own expense. Reading reviews from independent websites it's possible for the package to be opened by Customs requiring an extra cost and the possibility that the package could get "lost" in transit. It seems l will have to put this down as a bad experience. Do not buy anything from Ellawear unless you wish to be VERY disappointed.
Cheap clothing made in and sent from China. Shirt I purchased was poorly made with no labels and nothing like the advertised photo. After communicating via email I was asked for photos, then was offered a 50% discount on further purchases, then was offered a 15% refund, equating to $9 refund on a $60 purchase. themselves as an Australian based company. They most definitely are not. This dress is not from an Australian supplier and is a complete waste of money. They claim on their advertising that it will arrive within 3-5 working days. Mine took over 2 weeks to get here and was tracked from China. Do not be fooled! The print in the material looks nothing like the dress in the photo. The product I received was $69.95. It was grossly overpriced for the quality I received. It is made of a cheap t-shirt type of material, there is no label to say what the material is made up of and the only tag on it is a small tag showing L size! I have not bothered contacting the company for a refund ans I have read other reviews which suggest this will be a waste of time as I will be the one who is out of pocket. I have put the product in bag for the next charity shop run. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want to be ripped off!

The dress I received was nothing like the photo let alone the material was disgusting . The return policy is nothing better than being scammed. Please think twice before buying anything from this company. Purchased items from them in November 2025. Returned purchase for a refund 27/11/25. Many emails including photographic proof of return from Aus Post and I’m still waiting for my refund. Now 17th March 2026 ….. ridiculous!!!
Follow-up · Still no refund. Their latest excuse is that my returned parcel is still in customs. When I pointed out that they have proof that the items were returned they still refuse to refund me.

Do not buy from this company. Not Australian as led to believe. Clothing is not as stated. It's 80%polyester 20% cotton and sewing is very bad. Online information claims this company was started by Pamela Berbigier based out of Narrabeen but all orders are shipped from China. The return address is China and a lengthy explanation as how purchaser is responsible for return postage and all taxes that may be due and communication regarding customs clearance of the return. I was offered a 40% refund if I wanted to keep the clothes which I originally declined but accepted when I realised how difficult a return would be. The only positives were they did respond to emails and processed the 40% refund quickly. In short this is not an Australian site, items are very overpriced considering the quality and the return policy is a joke. A very disappointing and expensive lesson!

My order took a VERY long time. When it finally arrived it came in a bag which looked exactly like my Temu order. The product itself is poor in quality, fabric and general appearance. Would NOT recommend this business. It is a Chinese business hiding behind an illusion that it is Australian based. Disappointed and feel ripped off.

company clearly state that they are an Australian Company I therefore should be able to return the items to an Australian address!! Apparently this argument didn't cut it. Aside from that the clothing is not fit for purpose. I bought 2 two piece outfits. The pants are true to size but the tops are too tight and the fabric is not suitable for Australian climate. Returning these to China is not a worthwhile option. Looks like off to the op shop with them. The pics might look OK but the materials and workmanship is not. Put $114 down to experience. I'm inclined not to deal with PayPal again. My online ordering is now over.

Do not ever buy from this company. It is a disgrace. The clothes arrived and were not as described. What was supposed to be cotton rich and breathable is actually polyester. The shape is dreadful. I requested a supposed easy return and got endless back and forth messages with many excuses. Finally I got an insulting 30% back, or I would have had to pay to post it to China, and who knows if I would have even gotten any money back then!
Save your hard earned cash and do not buy from Ella clothing. Firstly, it is cheap material and cheaply designed so at best partially fits. Secondly if you want to return anything you have to send it back to China. They are deceptive making it seem Australian but it is not. Very frustrating to once agian lose money ordering clothes on line.
