I would suggest not ordering from this company. As the name suggests you might assume they are Melbourne based business, they are not. This is a Chinese company making typical Chinese knock offs. They will do they best to put you off returning the inferior goods purchased, I however have returned my purchase, 2 months on I am yet to hear from them let alone receive a refund.

Sizing was inconsistent and some tailoring was appalling eg body of garment was size 20 with sleeves in a size 10. About 2/3 did not match the description or pictures on the website. I needed to return about 1/3 of the order (some I gave away) and was told it would cost me $15 per item 're-warehousing fee' plus up to $40 per item for return shipping. The customs fees are also at my expense. The few items that were lovely were really lovely, but it is 'pot luck'. Recommend you choose wisely if you shop here.

If I could rate it as zero I would. The most horrible online shopping experience I've had in my life. The tracking shows that the package was received by postal carrier in Shanghai China 5/04/25. Its now been 3 months.

Elle Melbourne sends back same generic reply (probably AI) "I can confirm that the parcel has been delivered to the courier facility in China. As per our return process, once the item is received at our central warehouse and inspected, your refund will be processed right away in line with our refund policy, We appreciate your patience during this time and will continue to monitor the return closely. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions."

Today, I put in the tracking number on Auspost tracking online and its all changed, it shows the parcel was sent off today 23/05/25 from NSW sorting facility. So, I don't know what's going on? Maybe its the shoes being sent back to me. Of course I don't expect to get my refund but still fighting for it.

Its just disgusting that company's get away scamming people like this....I'm usually quite savvy online and very careful about this sort of thing, obviously not careful enough this time... Its not like I have heaps of spare money being an aged pensioner either.

saying that for returns I need to ship the dress back to China where it was dispatched from. I need to bare the cost of shipping as well as they charge 15% for restocking. No where in their website all this is mentioned and they're saying in the email that they abide by the Australian Consumer Law. Bought an item which was like a tent on me. Sizing chart not accurate at all. Took days to get them even to respond to my concerns. This isn't even made in Australia but in CHINA. Getting a refund is totally out of the question as I would have to pay for shipping costs which of around $40 (including customs ) + $15 restocking fee. Warehouse is in CHINA. cheaply, photos of owners. The whole 'business' is a scam run out of China (it seems,) and driven by Artificial Intelligence. When I requested a return, AI generated a series of 'delaying' emails. The last straw was a $40 postage fee to return the product and a $15 'handling fee.' In my case - that is about 50% of the cost. The website is a a very convincing scam. Avoid at all costs.
