off bed. Extremely disappointed. Rather then wait on refund via return and be without a mattress till money returned I purchased a quality topper from super sleep which I had prior to down sizing bed. I have reached out to Emma and asked for 50% of mattress topper from super sleep being $179. Especially as Emma would discard the returned mattress. I believe this to be a fair resolution. However I have not received a response as initially Emma thought I was talking about a topper I purchased from them. I'm an aged pensioner and can not for health issues be without a mattress till a refund is returned. So therefore I have asked them to negotiate. Also Emma said I could purchase a diamond topper from them cost ÷$600+. My super sleeper pro topper $379.

Sometimes too warm but happy overall – I'm happy with this mattress. It's medium firm, I find it very comfortable (60kg person) and I think it has good support - I sleep on my side and front. happen anymore. It sleeps warms not cool in my opinion. I have it on a slatted bed frame with bamboo sheets. It heats up underneath me, creating a warm patch which is lovely in one way because I get cold easily (have Reynaud's) and I think I will love it in winter. If I overheat, the warm patch doesn't really cool down so I slip a cooling gel mat underneath me to cool down when I need to. I haven't noticed any disturbance or motion transfer when sleeping next to another person (75kg). It seems to be good quality and I think it will last. I can't see it ending up sagging or lumpy. I think I will always be curious about whether the Emma Luxe Pro with AirGrid might have been for me but I decided to prioritise firmness (and price) over temperature regulation. Delivery was amazingly fast, it arrived in a couple of days and I live in regional WA so I was impressed. After unpacking, I let it air for 48 hours before putting on the bed, there was a bit of a musty smell but that was gone in less than a week. Overall, I feel happy when I jump into bed now and I feel confident that I'm going to get a reasonable/decent night's sleep at minimum.

Great mattress and highly recommend but it is hard and does off-gas for a while – I really recommend the Emma Comfort Mattress Double! adjustment! Having slept on it for a couple of months, I've adjusted to the hardness but sometimes it is still a bit hard for my liking, especially when I sleep for a long time on it. The Emma customer service team is really good though and within a few hours of writing to them about the hardness of the mattress, they delivered a free mattress topper, which arrived within 1 day! I haven't used it yet but I'm grateful for their great customer service. The only other thing I'd mention is that the mattress did off-gas for a while - it probably took a few weeks for the smell to completely dissipate. This was new for me because I haven't had a memory foam mattress before but it's something to be aware of if you are very sensitive to smell. The delivery service from Emma was also very quick and easy and the delivery drivers were great.

We bought this mattress to replace a very heavy inner spring mattress which was difficult to turn because of its weight (and was also more than 20 years old so past due for replacement!) Because of the way the mattress is constructed and the materials used it provides all-over support and there is no sagging. I was a bit doubtful about buying a mattress in a box initially, but I'm glad we did. I was also concerned that its solid construction might make it rather hot to sleep on during warmer weather, but was pleased to note that it remained quite comfortable on a few hot nights recently. All in all a great buy and best of all it's a lot easier to make the bed!

Unbeatable comfort – Loved my first few nights with this mattress. Had a minor issue of comfort and contacted support. Resolution achieved in days and have received excellent follow up. As a larger person I required an additional insert layer which was despatched quickly. The difference this has made to the support and comfort of an already great mattress is phenomenal. Great service but mattresses are way too soft – Too soft. Hurt my back sleeping on it within a week. Not much support for the back. Material feels very nice. Bloody good service from them though. Return was easy.

rental. This happened to be a year later, so I was unable to return after 100 days. Once I set up home and started using my Emma mattress, I found it so hard and uncomfortable, thought I needed time to adjust, then I started waking up every morning my back killing me. Then one of my daughters said, I can’t sleep on that mattress mum, it hurts my back. My new partner stays often and wakes up with a sore back. I now sleep on the couch until I can afford to buy a new mattress. Being a single mum, I can’t afford to buy us all new mattresses. I’m so upset this has happened and should have stuck to buying sleeping duck, which we had before we moved.

One of the best mattresses I've ever slept in – I bought an Emma mattress and bed for a spare bed which is regularly slept in. Putting it all together was straightforward. a very peaceful nights sleep. The only thing I don't like is the edges are very soft when you sit on the side. Don't use that to judge the firmness of the rest of the mattress but I'd say a double is not a great size for 2 people to sleep in all the time.

It’s not the weight of the mattress. It’s the quality of the sleep – I’ve just moved into a new home, as a young student with not much money to spare I invested in the Emma comfort mattress and was very pleased with the mattress quality and comfort.
