coil stab into your back. I wouldn't even recommend it as a guest mattress that's rarely used - even if you hate your guests, you'd be better off saving your money and letting them sleep on a broken old mattress from the side of the road.

The only positive I can say is that it was actually quite easy to return as per Emma's try-for-150-nights guarantee. Yes, the agent that responded to my request to return tried to make me keep the mattress for another 4-6 weeks to 'let my body get used to it' but when I said no (there's no way my body would have survived a night on that thing) it was picked up the next day and then my refund was processed as soon as I confirmed it had been picked up. So while I do not recommend the product, I'm happy with the customer service.

they are. We were past the return date so couldn’t do anything about it. I asked customer support and they suggested getting a topper to soften it - I ended up just purchasing one in person from a bedding shop close to home that day. It’s not a lot better. My other daughter now complaints hers is too firm - still deciding whether to change the mattress to a sprung one or buy another topper. Mainly because I don’t know what to do with the too firm one - I don’t really want to just send it to landfill! Moral of the story - if the mattress is for your kids try it yourself first as you inevitably end up in their bed sometimes!

couple of queries. It all had to be done via email only (I think to an outsourced customer service team stationed in the Philippines) and hence made the process very long and arduous due to communication misinterpretations on both sides - vendor and buyer. In the end, the customer service team did help and resolve my queries, but the process took long enough for me to nearly cancel the order and find another supplier. Overtime it has become uncomfortable and has caused sleepless nights especially in hot weather. I'm a side sleeper and I wake during the night when I try to reposition. Very happy - would purchase again! – This is my second Emma mattress. My first was purchased for a spare room and when I needed to replace my own it was an easy choice. Got there eventually – Extremely comfortable mattress but found instructions to make the king single frame very confusing as it kept referring to bigger size beds which had different parts.
