days for me), just keep a window open when you can. - The mattress itself is quite shallow, any fitted sheets may not fit (lose) but this is resolved with a topper where the additional thickness added gets it back to a more standard thickness. I consider this optional, just tuck the fitted sheet in a bit further.

Likes: - Really good support, resolved back issues from previous mattress - Good price, fast shipping, good overall initial experience - Good temperature management, no overheating issues - Seems good construction, easy to keep clean, no obvious wear and tear after a few months.

Dislikes - Can feel quite hard, especially for side sleepers - White technically optional, I'd consider a topper essential unless sleeping on your back. - Non standard thickness of mattress, existing fitted sheets are lose if no topper - Mattress can move around on the Emma supplied base, not a big issue, fixed with tape/ stapled cloth/ something grippy underneath

Really is cooler than other foam – Previously, I was sleeping on an inner spring mattress with an Ecosa gel memory foam topper. This topper was soft and comfortable, but was quite hot. I haven't felt the same sense of being boiling hot underneath that I had with the memory foam topper. On the Emma mattress, I don't feel any hotter underneath than I do on the parts exposed to the air. The Emma mattress is firmer than the topper/inner spring combo. This took a few nights to get used to, but also offers better support for my lower back, as I often sleep on my back. The firmness also makes rolling over easier - you can roll *over* the top of the mattress, rather than having to roll *up* out of a depression. I am very sensitive to smells, and so I expected that the new Emma mattress would smell. I opened it up and left it to air on the floor in the living room until I judged it was ready to go on the bed. This took three weeks. For comparison, when I bought the inner spring mattress about twenty years ago, it aired for six weeks before I judged that its smell had gone. In short, this mattress really is cooler than other mattresses, particularly those with foam tops, with or without the allegedly 'cooling' gel particles. It is comfortable and supportive and movement on one part of the mattress does not travel through to other parts.

Getting a good night sleep – What can I say about the Emma Diamond Hybrid Mattress..... well I'm finally sleeping a full night. vacuumed sealed and it wasn't just folded in half it was folded twice, I was sure this would damage the inner springs, but no they all sprung back into place and I haven't noticed any difference. I was also worried about the height of the mattress as in the past all my other mattresses have been twice the size. Once again no problem. I ordered a double in a medium this is okay but I think I could have ordered a plush, I think it would have the support I was after with just that little bit of extra comfort. Happy sleeper – At first I wasn’t sure I liked my Emma mattress as I’m so used to a traditional spring mattress. It took me a month or so to get used to it but now I absolutely love it and have been having the best sleep. Very happy – I bought this mattress for my son who is in his twenties as I’ve been more than satisfied with mine for the past 4 years. My son absolutely loves his and he actually thank me almost every day for a while. The best of the best – Having several vertebrae fused I needed a firmer mattress and found the Emma hybrid mattress to be the perfect fit. I have no issues with heat at night and find the bed easy to make . There are no squeaks or movement , a good solid piece of furniture. Show details ·  1

Firm supportive mattress – We wanted a slim (25cm depth) to fit on the lower level of the triple bunk where it fits under an incline ladder. support. This is for my daughter who is young and doesn’t mind. I have slept on it and find that on my back it is extremely supportive and after a while moulds and softens around you. I slept well and my back felt good. Unfortunately I am a natural side sleeper and On my side I would sleep lightly and feel my shoulder wasn’t comfortable. So overall my preference is a slightly softer mattress but we kept it as my daughter doesn’t mind.

Not for me – I bought it after surgery as I was not able to get into my very expensive and high mattress. Unfortunately it was not for me at all and after this experience I would always buy from a store where I can try first. From the overpowering smell of foam to the hard feel of foam, I had a terrible time sleeping on it. Just not what I’m used to at all and I was very uncomfortable in it. Best springless mattress by far – This is so far the best springless mattress I have ever used. Mattress itself is very cushiony yet supportive. Perfect for me. I have hip problems and find this mattress eases my comfort – The only important feature is that it allows my body to blend with the mattress in each position, and relieves my hip pain. Convenient – Convenient to have shipped to your door. First boxed mattress I’ve tried and they are quite different to a standard mattress, much more firm but not uncomfortable. Despite the cooling diamond layer it still sleeps quite warm for me. Fast delivery - Best sleep I’ve had – Delivery was fast and packaging was compact and practical.
