I was hesitant in buying a mattress like this, and put it off for years dealing with my old standard mattress. After years of waking up stiff and sore, this is no longer the case, for both myself and my wife. Can't believe the difference in softness, comfort, and waking up without being sore now is amazing. The mattress itself is okay in the fact that it is comfortable and good to sleep on if you are the sole occupant. However, as a Queen bed for two people it is not the ideal mattress. feels like it is collapsing and I have fallen off the edge on one occasion. So if you want a comfortable “big” single bed - then perfect. If you want a shared bed maybe try the King size or be very careful.

his way. I was out of the country at that time. I tried calling customer service and they stated that the driver would be informed and the mattress wouldn't be delivered. Can you guess what happened? The mattress got delivered anyways, and up to two days later, Emma still claimed it hadn't been, even after showing pictures of the delivery service. A friend of mine was luckily able to put it inside.

The box itself has handles and I was able to move it up one flight of stairs by myself. However, this would be way easier if you have a second pair of hands. Unboxing is super easy and it fluffs up quickly.

The mattress: The description rates it as a 3 out of 10 softness, 10 being super firm. I expected a cloudlike hotel-feel. The mattress is not very soft. I would say it's a 5 out of 10. I had to purchase a pillow topper as I had shoulder and hip pain (I'm 1.80m tall and weigh 82 kg) that continued even after sleeping on the mattress for 4 weeks. The topper didn't fully resolve that problem, and I reached out to Emma to return the mattress as I'd rather buy a cheaper mattress with a nice, soft, thick topper for the same price, especially if it's going to be more comfortable in the end. My previous mattress was 500$ and I had a 200$ topper and it was just as comfortable as the Emma Luxe Pro. Emma responded by offering me an extra 2cm foam layer for free to put in the mattress to make it softer. This was swiftly delivered and did help to make the bed more comfortable.

Allergies/VOC/whatever toxic stuff is in this mattress: To add the foam layer I had to open the cover and add the layer on top. All good and easily done. I went to sleep on it and woke up with a burning throat and burning eyes. A friend of mine said that box mattresses often have a lot of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) that are released when you unbox them or open them and they can cause a lot of irritation. I immediately bought an air purifier, which has helped, but make sure to vent the room after unboxing, especially if you open the cover.

Summary: It's an okay mattress if you're willing to spend an extra 150$ on a topper, and have/buy an air purifier to prevent dry eyes and sore throats. Customer service is extremely slow in its replies. I wouldn't buy one again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This is my second Emma King mattress. I love the first one, and have moved it into my guest bedroom. The new one is even better than the older one - and that really is saying something! Both are the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on, including others many times more expensive. The first one is now 4 years old, and is still as good as the day I got it. I absolutely love my Emma Luxe Pro King mattress! It’s the perfect mix of comfort and support – soft enough to sink into but still firm enough to keep my back happy. The cooling layers make a huge difference (no more waking up hot!) and I wake up feeling rested and pain-free. The edge support is great too, and the quality feels truly premium. This is the 3rd mattress we have bought from Emma. I have severe Osteoarthritis through my spine and limbs but still find the mattresses are very comfortable in that they are soft but not saggy, keep their shape and are well priced. Show details ·  1

pickup was only initiated after this negative review was sent to them. Would avoid falling for their seemingly constant 50% off sales and trying a different brand unless you are able to wait 2 months for a return.

Mattress was returned within a week as the spring structure was non existent and the bottom of the mattress had caved in Show details
