Love our New ENEFT Heat Pump – Great hot water system saving lots of money by replacing our aged solar gas boosted hot water system in both the gas bill and the wastage of water waiting for it to get hot at the tap, especially in the winter. ENEFT A102 HOT WATER SYSTEM – A cheaply produced product made overseas. On my 2nd pressure relief valve which still leaks with the temp set at 55c. Insulation around the tank minimal compared to my old Rheem unit (23years trouble free) Electronic panel to set temperature etc but subjected to weather will probably fail in 3 to 5 years. 850kpa is the value for the temp/pressure… Read more

relief valve as against 1400kpa for more structurally sound tanks. I'll see how it goes but I'm guessing companies installing these units under the Victorian rebate system are making very good profits from cheaply manufactured systems.

ENEFT - Great experience – So far, so good, had mine installed late November. The installation team were great and ready to entertain any requests, no complaints there. family of 4, two teenage girls who love their 30 min showers, it has never run out of water. The app could do with some refining to make it more polished, but generally, it works. The setup instructions to connect to the app could help to be more clear as well, but in the end I got there.

If it continues to run like this for the next 10 years at least I will be extremely happy. Most of my heating is done when my PV system is generating excess energy. Now to wait and see what my gas bills have dropped down to.

Based on what I have experienced to date, I would have no problems recomending an ENEFT system.

For NRG water heater – Its providing hot water , no issues with that, but compare to gas sys , its bit noisy , and night time can hear bit louder and having issues with sleeping disturbanses

electricity and as a result household is now 100% electric. Power bill hasn't increased with hot water heat pump, so believe they unit is very efficient and subsequently, the savings on the gas being cut off has meant a few more dollars in my pocket rather than paying a small gas bill that had more costs associated with the 'supply charge' (whatever that means). That is where I found the gas bill was hurting, only had hot water gas and was paying $90 every 2 month with $60 being supply charge.

Hot water system – Installers very professional and completed job in a timely manner. My unit was installed in March 2024 and I have found it much better than my gas unit. Water is hotter despite sub zero temperature on many mornings and it's cheaper to run. Show details ·  1

Hot showers in winter – Family of 5 that enjoy long hot showers in winter, we replaced a 315lt electric that would run short in winter. I think this Heat pump unit is very good, it's nice to know that we can use hot water, have showers any time of the day and it will reheat again in time for the night time showers.
