conducted and a report , Nothing provided. This is a company that does not try and maintain customer satisfaction , does not answer their phone and their standard reply is " We found the products not defective " Envirobug offered to return the useless products to me at my cost or refund me half of what I paid. Reported to Consumers affairs along with other customers. Don't fall for their false advertising . We even had a snake curled up beside the useless snake repellers over summer .

Same problem as many others. Bought 2 snake repellers and one failed to vibrate after a few weeks and had to jump through hoops with seller to try and remedy. Still no resolution. Now other one not working. Asked for replacements but no go. Do not fall for trap like me. Have since learned from snake catchers they are no deterrent as seen video on YouTube of snake coiled around repeller. Show details

We have purchased 8 of the snake repellents now. We gifted 2 to our daughter for her home. We have recently had our backyard landscaped and the fit well into the new layout. They seem to work well, lighting up and vibrating in the evening when l go outside with our dogs. I would recommend them to anyone. Show details · 1

Read their website = 5 Star, Product review is a different story. We live on 10 acres however only needed to cover 2 acres. so they were placed out half the required distance. A sure thing you would think to deter snakes if they worked. Some were placed next to a metal fence so the vibration which deters the snake was louder, they were all placed in clear areas none which hold water. As per the EnviroBug instructions the repellers were removed over autumn and winter, cleaned and stored in a plastic tub so realistically they were only deployed for six months of the 13. Without labouring on about problems and a phone call along the way, 13 months later and five red belly black snakes these useless repellers do not work, they rust and only 10 out of 40 still vibrate. Envirobug’s solution is because we are four weeks out of warranty even though I had spoken to them last year about problems, they offered to fix them at our expense. My husband is ex military and the most organised man I know, we look after everything we own. Do not waste your money on this rubbish. Product review states that they have detected a number of positive reviews for this listing which they suspect have been falsely generated and product review have removed them. VCAT is an option to possibly get some of our money back as this is a common practice of businesses not backing their products or warranties and falsifying their reviews. This company has loopholes in their warranty about water getting in, you cannot bring the repellers in every time it rains and 100% water gets in.

repeated fixes
As soon as I refitted the units they started vibrating. Over the following months they continued to stall. I kept pulling the two components apart and reassembling them; I have lost count of how many times I’ve had to do this. I reached the point of wanting to discard the units and discovered on the website that the company now sells fully battery‑operated versions, so I emailed support again to explain the ongoing issue and my intent to purchase the non‑solar units.
Frustration with support process
Support replied by insisting I complete another checklist, despite the detailed history I had already provided and all the corrective actions I had repeatedly taken since my first contact. I explained that I have particular challenges following checklists and protocols and that I preferred a phone call. They refused and insisted on the checklist, which I was not able to complete.
When I first contacted support, I was told a replacement would be offered if the units were compromised. That promise was not honoured. In my email I stated I would be buying the non‑solar D‑cell battery units without any request for a discount and that if those failed in the same way I would discard them as well.
Product quality concerns
The product instructions state that Lenox be prayed inside the units to extend the life of the repellers. In my case there was absolutely no moisture present in my solar units, however, the units clearly show silicon added into the gaps as an attempt to seal them so I’m going to assume the design was flawed and the silicon was messy and unprofessional, best described as “an afterthought”!
Accessibility and neuro‑inclusion issues
I disclosed that I am autistic and described how the support interaction was difficult for me. I provided [Name Removed] with practical suggestions for improving the business’s neuro‑inclusive skills and recommended professional development in that area. I did not receive genuine empathy or an apparent willingness to adapt communication to my needs but a generic response consumers see often!!!!
If these new units are as much of a fail as the solar I will proceed with disposing of them and consider this matter closed from my end.
Way below par and poor standards of business!

and I did have the snake repeller in the car at the time,and it would not stop vibrating,so it was then we realised that all 10 of the snake repellers had battery fault would not charge at all, so with that information ,Ally from Envirobug contacted me again the next day ,and thanked me for being so patient and detecting the faulty batteries once they tracked down the batch number,and promptly sent me 10 new batteries the next day, all I can say is big thankyou for being patient with me because I was a very disgruntled customer, they actually thanked me for being so consistent on finding out the issue so they Envirobug could help me with my purchase,all I can say is great product great staff,they are there to help as team and solve and help you every step of the way,10/10 for product help and follow up help for their customers great Aussie company ,thanku Envirobug awesome,kind regards Bruce Quick Mareeba Nth Qld

As others have stated do not buy this product. If you're like me its too late and you were sucked in by fake reviews on their official website. You won't get a chance to see if the product actually deters snakes as the product and service is of such poor quality. fault within a month. The remaining 3 intermittently stop vibrating and you need to power cycle them every few days. Their customer support is pathetic, you need to keep emailing them and threaten legal action to get a response. Then they claim they're water damaged so it voids their warranty, even though the product was faulty out of the box. Not only that we're in the middle of summer in a drout, there is no chance any of them got wet. Consumer affairs will direct you to take them to vcat but who has the time for that, most people work full time. That's probably how they have been able to keep selling the product.
