Terrible printer. All I want to do is print with it. I select 'print', it comes up with a box telling me I haven't got 'full/genuine' epson cartridges, even when I've just replaced them with FULL, new cartridges, and will not let me print with them. It does not let me over-ride this and just simply does not allow me to print. Absolutely disgusting… Read more
attempt to 'lock in' users. I will NEVER buy epson anything again, and I recommend anybody that reads my review to seriously reconsider this brand and go elsewhere to avoid the HUGE amount of frustrations that come with epson printers.
Printer when working is great. BUT most of the time error messages relating to 'software error has occurred restart needed' or just printer error or it will not connect to Wi-Fi. The Epson Workforce printer causes me more grief than anything else. I will never purchase another Epson printer again, do not buy. Show details
Absolute disgrace of a product. Drinks ink at an alarming rate. Run out of ink? Say goodbye to all other functions, including those which don't require ink such as scanning. Kings of e-waste. Show details

I been a customer for many years. I decided to buy an epson printer as a sublimation printer. There site says there a warranty. I been sending them photos of the paper coming out with ink on the corners and back. And corners turn up. They was saying i am doing something wrong like cleaning the head. Or the ink and paper needs adjusting. I told… Read more
them it to hard to use. And im frustrated that all my prints are in the bin like out of 30/ 28 is in the bin. Or i try to cut the edges off the paper. They told me to call epson. Thats when i find out the printer is not under warranty because it being used as a sublimation printer. Which i was not told up front nor is it in there adds. Also epson said this printer is the wrong one to use for sublimation I can hear the paper sticking on the way out the corners a bent. I got the printer in October but never used it,until two weeks ago. I had a heart operation. It took me a long time to recover and to get my feelings back to do my craft. If i knew i had no warranty. I would never have purchased it
Never again – Terrible printer ink use. I have to do print head cleans before I can print a page which use the whole printer cartridges up for an inch of print. Contacted customer care about it and they didn't care at all. Said it was to be expected! Show details
Epson has the worst customer in the world! – The worst customer I have ever met! The technicians don't understand English well, don't understand the product and gave wrong information. They don't want to really fix the problem but accused customer expecting too much! They refused refund even that's against Australian consumer law!!! I just attach a photo here. price printer. The lower one is from Epson ET4850. I don't expect to be good quality but just not too bad only. Everyone can tell if the lower photo can match not too bad or not. Its quality is just disaster. Even though the support guy still asked me to print only from computer but can't print from smart phone. That's their solution!!!!!

network map, everything is ok but the printer is never available. A full reset allows me to print one item before the thing disappears. Do not buy this printer it's a total fake.
Follow-up · Nothings improved. Checked network environment Put printer on Fixed IP. Still not visible to anyone on the network. I can use it via the Epson app but the basic work around is the need to reboot the printer for every print job. My previous Workforce printer was awesome and would still work except Epson no longer do the ink.

all up to get the printer to and from the service place. I went to the next stage of more liaison to explain this was an unreasonable application of the warranty. Epson then did send a courier to collect the printer. That was early December. Spoke again with customer service, who said they were sending out a new printer, and then that they were repairing the old one. Am about to buy a Brother printer now as my Epson is clearly on permanent holiday.
Follow-up · I have now received a replacement printer in late Jan. Catching up on a few months of printing!

I have a WF-3825 muti function that has been great until today when I could not scan to email using the app. I have tried to set up scan to email on the printer with not much luck so today I called support and asked them to walk me through it. The lady I spoke to had no bloody idea, she read a list of things to try from a book, but she did not… Read more
know how to set it up either, I told her I can read that off the internet as well, I just wanted someone who knew their product, no luck there at all so I still don't know the settings but I found out what was wrong with the app. Just reloaded it again and all OK. Product great, support bloody useless.
The WF-3820 printer is a dog. Constant errors and problems every time you try to print anything. Initial ink cartridge ran out after four pages then it refused to recognise the new (genuine) cartridge. Very fiddly, technical, impractical, error-prone product that should be avoided at all costs

I have owned an Epson XP-700 Printer /scanner for over 10 years now. I am very happy with it and had it reset after 10 years because it supposedly was end of life. Still doing a great job. FANTASTIC SUPPORT FROM EPSON , EVEN FOR A PRODUCT I PURCHASED SO LONG AGO. THANK YOU EPSON CUSTOMER SUPPOT. !!!!!
Bought a EPSON WF-2910 printer 3 months ago. I'm still trying to register it. Epson Connect is about the worst software I've ever tried to use. The screen on the 2910 is so small I need a magnifier to read anything. The wi-fi password keeps dropping out. The paper feeder works (sometimes). The product is a shocker. Back to Brother printers now. Show details
If you're dumb enough to buy an Epson printer like I was you will probably regret it like I do. The printers are cheap but their inks are at rip off prices and require constant head cleaning to keep them working but worse than their product was their customer service. it. What a pain in the butt. They said I wasn't home to receive when I wash (homebound) so it was sent to local P.O. but I still couldn't collect it so the P.O. returned it to them so I could get a refund. They weren't there to receive it so it was held at their local P.O. and even after 2 emails from me, that they didn't reply to, they never picked it up from the P.O., never issued my refund and now only God knows where it is. I hate buying from companies who have no customer service and don't reply to my emails. I mean why call your department Customer Service when you don't offer any. I won't ever buy from them again and will throw my printer in the trash.
I have an Epson ET2810, but the main problem is that it only uses its own Wi-Fi. So, when I want to look something up and print, I have to log out of the internet, log into the printer's Wi-Fi, print, log out, and then reconnect to the internet and repeat the process. The 2nd problem is that it is set up to use mobiles or tablets, not laptops I can not scan documents to my laptop I have to use my phone, then send it to a laptop
My elderly parents called Epson to get assistance with their printer that is barely 2 years old & hardly used. They were terrible assistance & wouldn't even talk them through attempts to resolve the problem. Rather they were immediately referred to an online service which was useless. Subsequently, the printer still doesn't work & we would have to pay to get anything more done by a local repairer. Terrible item & terrible service! Show details

*Update: December 2025 and my printer is still used frequently. Still running really well and I couldn’t be happier! I can’t believe I’ve still only refilled the ink once. I sought value for money.
I have been so thankful I made the decision to invest in this model and have given it a tough workout over the last 2 years! I have refilled the inks once, and still have half full inks from that first fill. I blown away with just how much printing I can do, without running out of ink!
I find draft quality in black ink is more than good enough for general printing. Colour I tend to do the highest quality by choice. I haven’t had a single issue in all that time and I’m far more fussy to get things ‘just right’ now, as I know the cost of reprinting won’t break my budget!
The only thing I would consider doing differently if I purchased again, is whether I would choose a model that could print on A3 paper.
Very happy with this printer.
DO NOT BUY EPSON AND STAY AWAY FROM REMTEC – I purchased an Epson printer mid 2023. All good except missing lid stopper that I brought to Epsons attention more than once and never heard back. However during the warranty period the scanning began to produce images at a tilt. Toward the end of the warranty I raised it with Epson who would not replace the machine which I think is my choice… Read more
under consumer law therefore I was forced to take the machine to their nearest repairer REMTEC in Dandenong. The machine returned very promptly however the problem was not fully resolved and REMTEC introduced a new problem where two or more pages would be grabbed so the scans were not only at a tilt but incomplete. Despite the repair failing and REMTEC making it worse Epson would still not replace the machine. I droppped it back on December 16 2024 and still not have it back. REMTEC told me a month ago that just after Christmas 2024 they received a part for the repair. With REMTEC not responding to my emails, some weeks later on January 31 Consumer Affairs Victoria told me to issue a letter of demand on Epson. I held off in good faith. Then around a week ago REMTEC tell me Epson were offering a replacement but the model I was being offered was the one beneath my model on the basis there is no difference between the two. Thinking this through then why would Epson advertise and sell the same model in the same shops under different model numbers, something seems deceptive here if that is the case. Naturally I declined the offer yesterday until I speak further with Comsumer Affairs. Today REMTEC tell me they can fix the printer which I very much doubt on the last experience where they made it worse and did not replace the rubber stopper. If REMTEC could fix this printer why did they not do this since having the part just after Christmas, it is now February 12. In four days I have been without my printer for two months. Therefore my conclusion is DO NOT BUY EPSON for the reasons listed above AND STAY AWAY FROM REMTEC for the reasons also listed.

Terrible customer service – Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I purchased ET 4850 as a replacement for ET-4750. It has been used for around 12 months when it started not printing anything with more than 1 page, just spat out black sheets of paper. It also would not allow me to do Power Cleaning unless I purchased a Maintenance box. So I rang customer… Read more
service. 1st lady I could understand and she put me through a load of procedures to try to fix it. This didn't work so she said she would ring me back after she had and after made more enquiries as to how to fix. She eventually rang me at 6pm, when I was dressed and ready to go out for dinner. So the next day I ran Customer service again, got a different lady who was extremely difficult to understand. She said she couldn't fix it and would talk to a superior who would ring me back. This did not happen, so the next day I rang again and was told that I needed elevated help and she assured me that they would ring back within the hour. Never happened, I waited 3 days before I received the call, again whilst I was driving my car so again useless to me. Whilst I was doing all this I decided to go on U-Tube to see if I could find anything out. I found some good information there and went and purchased a Maintenance box, came home, fitted it and managed to to the Power Clean and guess what, it is now working.
Epson Customer service is terrible, why they use foreign people who do not really understand what they are doing beats me. I only wish if I had read these reviews before I purchased this expensive printer.
Avoid – As per the last review, you have to constantly remove and reinstall the printer every time you shut down or do one of their dreaded software updates. It seems this printer industry is unregulated, why should such un-user friendly products be allowed on the Australian market ? Although my printer is new, I feel like switching to Brother. Help Desk is in the Philippines and is useless. Show details
Realy bad product – What to say about workforce pro wf-3820 NOTHING GOOD, settings always changing without being changed, WiFi never works, Will NOT connect to pc via cable provided. You have to constantly remove and reinstall printer to get it to work after you have messed around with it for 1 or 2 hours and get it to work if you're lucky. Totaly hate this so call easy to use printer that dosent work Show details
Worst printer – I have a WF-2960 for our business. We have to print out labels for shipping. The software is so buggy that it will cancel itself halfway through a print and so you press print again. Then it will reprint the original and print the new batch when I pressed print the second time. Almost like they want you to waste the ink so you can buy more small expensive cartridges. Never buying anything from Epson again!!!

Poor customer support – I tried to register but got sent around in circles - after 2 hours i gave up. I will look for another printer. EPSON's support and Epson Connect Site is VERY POOR. not sure 1 star is even too much. Show details
Worst device EVER! – Without doubt, my Epson printer is the worst device I have ever owned in my 51years. It lets me down time and time again. Just when I need it to print something important, it just won't respond and I'll spend hours troubleshooting and reinstalling. I've worked in IT for 30 years and I've never used any device that remotely compares to how bad this printer is.
Worst customer support – I purchased an Epson printer model ET-4850, which is 16 months old and is currently unable to connect to any Wi-Fi signal. The device prompts me to contact Epson support for assistance. Is it the expectation of the company that consumers should purchase a new printer every 12 to 24 months? to accept responsibility since the issue arises after the warranty period has expired. I am inclined to dispose of the printer and will refrain from purchasing any Epson products in the future. According to information available on this website, I should have researched this brand prior to my purchase. The lack of customer support after the sale is evident. I advise potential buyers to exercise caution and avoid this brand.
