Amazing Experience – I was skeptical about Eric warranty after reading the online reviews, but still I went ahead and purchased the 5 star Eric warranty on my Mercedes Benz for 3 years. was over. I took it to the nearby Mercedes Benz showroom and they took a day to find the fault and gave me a report the next day and charged me 319$. They gave me a quotation of $8,000 to fix the back differential. I gave a call to Eric warranty and mentioned to them my cover is getting over the next day and the car is still with Benz showroom, will you be able to fix it. They instantly opened the claim number and told me not to worry, and I can bring in the car whenever I get it back from Mercedes Benz.
I got the car from the Benz showroom and took it to ATA workshop in Green square and got my car fixed for no out of pocket charge. Also Craig/John were so sweet and asked me to send them over the invoice Benz charged me and paid me the entire 319$.
Eric Insurance definitely helped me (irrespective of other reviews here). I will definitely get another service from Eric insurance if they continue to be around.
Steer clear of these scam artists – Good thing they don’t have a - option Look elsewhere, Eric is cheap for a reason. Motorbike ppl steer clear. The worst insurance company! – If you have to call them expect an hour wait time. This is every call. They did not contact the party who was at fault. Finally when they did I now have to wait another two months for the preferred repairer. It does not need any parts to be repaired. Show details
Great Service – I cannot fault the service provided by Eric. At the end of 2021 I foolishly backed into a post. I rang the claim through, filled out the paperwork and the claim was handled very professionally and rapidly. Only Christmas and the floods delayed the repairs. easy claim process, fast approval – Have loan protection insurance on our car loan with Eric. Was unable to work for a long period of time, but forgot I had the insurance, so didn't claim until well after the time I was unemployed, I made the claim 12 months after I was first out of work. Zero response – Try calling to speak with anyone is my case is impossible left 5 urgent messages for a callback zero response. You will speak with a robot just to be told to go one line to complete forms if you wish to speak with a human. I will never use this company again. Big skip waste of my valuable time. was happening, only to get the response, "Oh we haven't got the documents yet". Rang the finance company, "Oh we don't provide those documents". Rang Eric Insurance, "Its not my responsibility to get those documents", and refused to provide any further assistance, telling me that they would have just done nothing had I not rang and effectively done their job for them. Typical, lazy, self important keyboard operators, working for a typical, greedy insurance company. Send an email, wait till you get annoyed, do the bare minimum. Wash, rinse and repeat.

country so had to deal with it. After a couple of weeks I got a phone call demanding money for the excess which I explained to them it was already taken care of by [Name Removed]. I tried to contact her but she ignored me and I dealt with her colleague who she said [Name Removed] text her stating I was very happy with the repairs and I would pay the excess. Such a blatant lie. I had to contact the repair shop to get it in writing off them stating the insurance would pay the excess. I had no follow up phone call or apologies just more lies from [Name Removed]. PLEASE DONT USE ERIC INSURANCE.

Don't use this service! – Beware of this insurer!! They will send out your personal information to 3rd parties with out your consent. Your Residential address, your date of birth, your full name, your vehicle rego, your email and phone numbers, your bank details. When you ask them why they did that, they will say it's their policy and terms to do so. BEWARE! Show details
Good service, if you're not at fault and manage to actually get them on the phone – I had good experience last time with them but I was not at fault. To get them on the phone is always really hard though. This time, still not at fault, I waited 1 hour to get someone and that person just hang up on me.... When you finally get through, the only thing they can produce are excuses, no update, no ETA, no any useful information, just excuses and suggestion to keep waiting for few more weeks. Great price - but the customer service to match the price - – Very good price, however, customer service is not a strong point. Very very insecure demanding personal details over email. Asking personal details for questions that are flat out NO our company doesn't do that. No online self-help portal - even making a payment is hard requires forms and time and effort. value. Being a highly experienced in the insurance industry and that I immediately lost faith in the company for this deceptive made up rubbish I swapped insurance on the spot.
Never let an insurance company treat you like this and market value is the price you would pay to buy another care of same make and model. Not this other made up term to save the insurance company money.

video footage of it being taken but the police haven’t been able to locate the vehicle. I contacted Eric straight away, they didn’t even contact me back until a few days ago when I lodged a complaint. They are now offloading my claim to an investigator apparently m so still in limbo. with no car ….still stuck paying repayment on a vehicle I don’t even have. The lady on the phone said these investigations could take months or years. This is an absolute nightmare of a situation. Eric Insurance are clearly doing everything possible to avoid helping us. This week I go to the head office in person & get it sorted-assuming there is someone to talk to. Here’s the update. After chasing this mob via available sources-including the ombudsman office, Eric insurance seems to be smoke & mirrors. They don’t appear to have a physical office in Melbourne. I found a previous POBox in Collins StMelbourne, then they moved to Scoresby & from there just disappeared. The office holders I located on Linkedin have no personal personal contact details Their phone & email links say they will return your call within 3 days( which is a nonsense turnaround time). Here I am 6 weeks later & have not received a phone call Sent them another email 4/12/2022 requesting my policy be cancelled effective 1/1/2013. Three weeks later I received a letter by snail mail stating my policy has been cancelled from the day I sent the email ie 4/12/2022. Here I am riding my bike for 3 weeks uninsured. condition. How my medical details resulted in my vehicle being stolen ill never know. They also asked me to provide bank statements how much do you need to dig into someone's personal life in order to avoid paying a claim. Can never get anyone on the phone to talk about my claim.
