Not for me – I never lost any weight, I had these for a few months and nothing not 1kg off. it’s fructose. The body processes fructose differently. I’ve bought a portable ninja so can have a creamy shake when I’m on the road working. Seeing results 7.8kg down since 1 March. Reached first target of 54kg. 4kg to go. It’s a huge thumbs up for me. Thankyou Aldi. An update 3/8. Lost another 3.2kg and almost there. I’m very happy with this product. An update 3/9. I reached my target of 48kg as I’m short so this is my healthy weight. I’ve lost total of 15kg and I’ll keep using the Aldi shakes for one meal on maintenance. Very grateful to Aldi. These shakes have kept me satiated, curbed the sweet cravings and provided ongoing energy and improvement in mental health at an affordable cost.

A little too sweet – I had put on around 5kilos after Cancer treatment & for over 4years have been battling to get the weight off, finally I tried the Aldi shakes chocolate & strawberry & they have started to work losing 1kilo in the first week my only problem is I find them very sweet is there anyway of decreasing the sweetness.

No more migraines! – Absolutely LOVE these shakes especially the chocolate flavour. I've found that not only am I less hungry, I don't get migraines anymore! Taste is great but very high in carbs – I have only had one so far and I think the taste is much better than the [Brand Removed] and the [Brand Removed] . However I was a bit concerned about weight loss when the Aldi is very high in carbs and sugar and lower in protein than the others. 23.4 Bondi less than 0.1 Coles 1.7 Because I don’t eat fast food or many sweets and eat a whole food diet but regardless cannot shift 5 to 6 kilos whenever I do I want to reduce carbs and increase protein. I would love to stick with Aldi as they are so delicious but I think the sugar and carbs may delay my weight loss progress. I would value any other opinions on this.

My favourite chocolate meal replacement shake – I have tried a variety of brands of meal replacements but can't go past the Aldi brand for the chocolate and vanilla. They shake well (I don't get lumps like I do with some other brands) and they are tasty and filling. It is a shame our local Aldi's seems to rarely have any flavours on the shelf except for coffee. And that is the downside with Aldi - supply is not as reliable as it is with other brands.

I had it once or twice almost every week on the days I didn’t have time for breakfast but the new formula is not only not as good as the old one, it’s honestly disgusting, it’s thick and syrupy and no longer tastes like chocolate. Please go back to the old formula, I don’t understand why anyone thought it was a good idea to change it.

I don't like the new formula – I have used the chocolate flavour for a couple of years and really enjoyed the unique, nearly Milo flavour. The recent change is now more powdery, is difficult to fully mix in a shaker and has a thick, gluggy texture. Please go back to the previous chocolate formula. Show details

It does the job – I needed to lose weight and stop being hungry all the time. I tried the chocolate and coffee shakes to help stave off my hunger. toilet within 15 minutes of drinking half a glass of the shake. Hopefully it was just the milk and not the shake that I reacted to. I’ll have to stick to just water (cold) from now on and blend with ice to thicken it a bit. I don’t like it watery. I drink one two shakes a day and have a normal dinner. No snacks except maybe fruit and nuts. No processed sugars and avoid heavily processed foods (besides the shakes). These shakes DO keep me full until the next meal. Since I’ve only just recently started I can’t comment on the weight loss yet. I’m currently 100kgs and my goal is to lose 30 kgs.

Taste – I love the chocolate trim and slim. I buy at least 40 packets a fortnight. They have a very different horrible taste, I'm wondering if there's a reason for this. Show details

Great taste – I have been on Celebrity Slim for about 10 years and find hard to get sometimes. My sister buys the Aldi shakes so I tried one and they tasted very similar to Celebrity Slim but thicker. They are also cheaper than any other shake. I have tried a few brands and this would be the best. I tried Lady Shake and took one mouthful and tipped the rest out alas they were too sweet and disgusting. Great price and very tasty – I wanted to buy Celebrity Slim but they were out of stock. I had heard about the Aldi Slim and Trim so gave them a go instead. Its only been a few days so no weight loss to comment on but the shakes are a winner with me. Just the right consistency and dissolve easily just in a shaker (other products say you need a nutri bullet to get them smooth). They have a good amount of protein too. At $2 per serve, you can't go wrong.

Chocolate was unbearable to drink – Tried this chocolate flavour, really not a good taste.. i held it in my mouth and was telling myself “just swallow it and I just couldn’t” it tasted a bit toxic. I enjoy the strawberry tho, I’ll give a 4 star review for that one. Show details

Finally losing weight – Started meal replacements, breakfast and lunch on second January. Have lost ten kilos in 18 days. Gone from 138 - 128 kgs. This works. Will definitely continue for twelve months. Hopefully will get to sub 100kgs. Show details

too much sugar – The strawberry and chocolate were my favorite flavours but unfortunately i will no longer be buying them I have noticed it has 23grams of sugar in a 55 gram packet that is close to 42% of sugar in the whole Package This is crazy in a so called package Health program .I will no longer be buying these I would be just as well off buying a ctn of flavoured milk . breakfast and one for lunch a piece of fruit and whatever I wanted for dinner. I drank cold water in between if I got a little bit hungry.

From the second week I added carrot sticks cucumber sticks celery sticks and avocado dip as a snack in between. I'm a diet controlled diabetic all my levels are within normal range now and I'm feeling really great now.

I recommend these shakes to everyone that asked me how I lost my weight or anyone that's looking to lose weight.

I have maintained my weight loss for 6 months now.

Great value great taste – Tried one sachet and i was very impressed (chocolate) The texture is just like a chocolate milkshake and tastes just like one too. Satisfying taste, filled me up, great value for money and now when I do my next shop 11 sachets will be on the list. My reason for only 4 stars is because I'm very worried about the sugar intake as it is more then a block of chocolate, but apart from this I think its highly recommended.

IM OBSESSED WITH THE CHOCOLATE FLAVOUR – I have tried every brand and all the different companies that make meal replacement shakes, but the Aldi slim & trim are by far my favourite. I gained 15 kilos after the birth of my second born son, & these shakes along with an hour long walk everyday helped me lose all my weight plus more. My only gripe is my local Aldi store "EASTLAKES" never has the chocolate on the shelves!!!!

Excellent – The chocolate is by far the best. I mix the chocolate with a little hot water before adding my milk to dissolve the product. I don't need to do it withe the vanilla or strawberry.
