What colour is it supposed to be? I found some in my house and I'm not sure if it's gone off.

Is s long time since I bought some but I think it was a clear with a very slight yellow tone. There should be a ' best before' date and it really isn't a good idea to use very out of date cosmetics, as the chemical composition may change a lot over time.
