My electric stove top plate still hot after turning off

Can anyone tell me why the fan stopped working please? I was cooking something in the oven on a very temperature and the fan stopped. It now appears to be working again but my other half doesn't want me to use the fan forced settings in case it's a fire risk. Is simply that it got too hot or something else? I use fan forced all the time and find it difficult not being able to use it. Awaiting some advice please?

YES! got too hot and the safety thermostat cut the power until it cooled down to a safe temperature and reset itself.

why does the fan run after turning off oven
A thermostat runs the blower fan until the temperature cools down to the turn off the fan.
Read your booklet. It's all in there.

Yeah, I think it works on heat being generated, and cuts in at a certain temperature.

I have a Euromaid 54 with a ceramic top. One of the red warning lights indicating that the top is still hot has been on for over a week now. It started to muck up 4 weeks ago when the light stayed on for about 12 hours then finally went out.
Also not happy with the markings on the dials wearing off.
I just used my new euromaid oven for the first time and the fan won’t turn off.

Is the outer dial on the oven, grille, timer and oven function switch supposed to turn with the inner knob? Very confusing and hard to figure out exactly what the oven temperature is set on.

I have a Euromaid Turbo Master 1505TI oven and cant get the Auto to turn off. It has always been a problem but eventually we got it but now it wont turn off at all, hence you cant use the oven at all!
