Formerly trading as Woolworths Car Insurance
I have had two claims with them, and it's been absolutely terrible. Claim 1: FOUR years later I am still fighting to get my air con fixed. Now *I* have to take it to an expert because their original repairer didn't do it properly or correct it in FOUR years. Claim 2: I am not at fault and I have to chase the other party's insurance in order to get… Read more
a hire car so I can get my car fixed. This is ridiculous. Why do we have insurance then. I spent almost 2 hours on hold to their woolies settlements team to get the other party's insurance information. It's been over a month and I can't even book in my car for the approved repairs. Don't waste your time with this company
My Everyday car insurance was cancelled 2 months ago without my knowledge. I rang them to have it transferred to the new car that I bought and they told me it was not insured!!! Show details

I’ve had my policy for about 8 months. Found it when I bought a new car second hand and was looking around for new insurance. Cheapest policy by far and it doesn’t skimp on what you’re covered for. I’ve had to make a claim in the first few months when my parked car was damaged, and it was all pretty easy to pop in some details and photos, and… Read more · 1
then the repairer contacted me to organise to get it fixed at no cost to myself.
I also love getting up to $10 off with the 10% off a monthly shop at Woolies. Saves up to $120 per year making the policy even better value for money.
The only drawback was the time I had to wait to get into the repairer. My car was in a drivable condition, but if it wasn’t, I would have been without a car for a few weeks (I was already without a car for a week while it got repaired because I didn’t opt in for hire car cover). But in saying that, that’s not really the insurance company’s fault, more the local repairer. I had to take the car in to them first so they could take their own pics, they had to send away a quote etc and then call me to organise an appointment to bring it in for the actual repair. So from the day I made the claim to picking up my fixed car was 5 weeks.
After an accident I reported the the event to police and exchanged details with the other car driver. I then made a claim to Everyday insurance. The result of the accident had the car deemed a total write off. Everyday insurance were very helpful and kept me fully informed through out the procedure. The result was they paid out in full on the… Read more · 1
agreed payout figure in less than five weeks after the accident. I could not be happier with the helpful and quick service I received and insured my new vehicle with Everyday Insurance and have no hesitation in recomending them.
We now have three vehicles with Woollies and they are fantastic. Great savings on groceries with monthly discount . Insurance policy prices are great . Set up time was very minimal Show details · 1

Had to make a no fault claim and from beginning to end total mess up, from not recording my first phone call to make a claim, had no record of it. It all went down hill from there. I was able to have my car repaired at a local business that they… Read more
suggested, however sent me a finished email to do with my car repairs that hadn't started for another 3 weeks. Apparently claims go to a centre in the Phillipines. Every consultant I spoke with all apologised about the mistakes made however no supervisor or anyone higher called to speak to me about all the mistakes that were made. A very frustrating situation. I bought a new car before this claim and had insured it with them, however after such a terrible experience with the claim on my other car I have now cancelled my policy on both cars.
Follow-up · There were no problems with the car repair at all , the problems were all in the process of the claim, many mistakes were made and the problems were never escalated to a supervisor or some one higher. It was only after I cancelled 2 car insurance policies and my review had been seen that I received a call from head office to discuss what had… Read more

I received professional service on the day for immediate cover on a new car that met all my needs to drive away on the day. This is the first time using this insurance company and it was the cheapest for me. Show details · 1
Follow-up · The online process was easier than I expected but in saying that you can just as easily call them to finish the process of you don't understand anything. I received an email the same day to read through the fine print, no hidden fees and a 14 day cooling off period is added. Like I said an easy process.
I have nothing but great things to say about this product. I have 3 policies I had 1 claim where I wasn’t at fault and the fixed the car immediately and I claimed for a windscreen and again the service from everyone involved was excellent Show details · 1
Follow-up · Everything has remained the same, I would recommend Woolies car insurance to anyone looking for a affordable insurance , and great service, however it can take a while to get through the phone service to talk to someone

I am a new customer and very happy with the coverage offered. Even happier with the cost. I think the time taken to receive and accept the quote was reasonable and the savings considerable in my case! Show details · 1
Everyday Insurance is exactly that, its insurance for the Everyday driver, no hassles, no tricky paperwork to wrangle and the rewards are so good you can use them as part of your Everyday life! Making a claim is fast, easy (you could do it Everyday without skipping a beat); any contact with the company is simple and easy to understand (like an… Read more · 1
Everyday chat really) . A broken windscreen (these things happen somewhere Everyday really) was claimed and settled within a week, now you don't get that everyday, but you do get that with Everyday! You don't need to be a rocket scientist, just a normal person, an Everyday person actually! (I sense a theme here)

pick them up and then somehow jack the car up to reinstall. I took the car to the repairer and they told me to take it away and wash it before they could do a quote. Dropped off 26th November. Called after a week and the repairer said they were waiting for a "sharps inspection", supposed to be organised by Everyday Insurance. On 19th December, after numerous phone calls, I was told it had been assessed. Damage done November 11th and repairs are scheduled for 28th March, nearly five months. Everyday Insurance wanted me to get a letter declaring liability from my mechanic and also asked me to get information about charges against the [Content Removed] from the Police. Unbelievable. Now they want $800 excess. The car belongs to my 88-year-old cousin and I am listed as a contact on the insurance policy. The only good thing about Woolworths Everyday Insurance is the 10% off every month. They should stay out of the insurance business as their underwriter, Hollard Insurance, are painful to deal with Everyday Insurance are [Content Removed]

At first, the process of getting the policy was quite positive, but as soon as I wanted to view/change the auto renew setting, it became ugly. What excuse in this day and age could there be to not display this on their portal. The reason is pretty obvious. Show details

My insurance was not renewed even though i paid a premium for the current year product. Upon attempting to renew the insurance, on their website my insurance was labelled as cancelled! I requested a refund for the money paid in Feb 2025. "Oh, we've found your insurance certificate", was the reply. I wonder if it would have been found if I'd made a claim in the time prior to this discussion? Show details

Very happy with this insurance. It’s very good value especially as they do agreed value as a first option so I’m happy with that. Thankfully in my 64 years I’ve not had to make a claim but it’s always good to have just in case and Everyday Car Insurance is worth the money Show details · 1

Had to renew my motor vehicle policy. I spoke to Jack. Jack really knew his stuff, made the changes I requested (end odometer hours, additional after market extras fitted to the car), and managed to reduce my annual policy premium by around $160.
