Follow-up · Two years after installation I'm still very happy with the EvoHeat unit. No issues to report. It is efficient, quiet and economical. Delivers all the hot water I need. Water pressure is fine - full mains pressure. Plumber had no problems with the install. EvoHeat were responsive when I called for information.
Definitely recommend EVO150 heat pump hot water – I previously had a Stiebl-Eltron heat pump hot water. I installed an EVO150 on our granny flat in January 2023. It has also been great. This heater is on a granny flat that isn't always occupied, so the vacation mode is really useful.

my Evo-150 was the first of that brand in the village, I had to satisfy village management of its quality and reliability. I am pleased to say that it has performed as expected, has been trouble free, has resulted in reduced electricity bills, runs as quietly as the split system air-conditioned it stands next to and has been well supported by the manufacturer and installer - Same Day Hot Services - when I have had questions.
As a result, the Evo-150 has been added to the list of approved hot water systems endorsed by the village.
One other plus for me as I spend quite a bit of time away from home, is the "Vacation Mode" option. This allows me to program the unit to be 'Off' while I am away and to turn itself 'On' again before I get home meaning I have hot water ready on my return.

hiccup with the process delivery, however, the team at EvoHeat were very responsive, jumped on it and made it a minor hiccup instead - very much appreciated at a busy time of year. The installation was so straightforward that the grumpy plumber said he was actually impressed - a rare thing indeed. The two main concerns we had going into this whole process was (1) the running noise as the only option we had for installation was next to the bedroom window and (2) running out of hot water with a 150 Litre tank … in fact, there’s never been any sign that the water might be close to running out and it runs so quiet that I only know it’s on when I’m outside. Great After Sales Service – We had an Evoheat EVO150-1 installed almost 1 year ago. A fault developed where the circuit breaker kept tripping. At first I ignored this but it gradually became worse until I found I was unable to keep the circuit breaker on. I filled out a service request with Evoheat and then called them to say it was urgent. contractors the same day and was able to find the issue that the condenser was leaking water into the unit. They were able to dry off the unit and get it back on. The next day they came out with a full replacement and had it installed. The installers, Silver Water Plumbling were great and took away all the packaging and pallet.

automatically programmed sanitation system, which heats the water once a week at 70 degrees C for 30 minutes - which is excessive, so I've toned it down.
I'm the only occupant in the house, so this unit fits my needs perfectly. The water temperature remains constant throughout the day. It heats up slower than a conventional gas water heater, but does come with an on-demand boost heater if required.
The Evo150-1 meets all our requirements – We selected the small EVO150-1 hot water heat pump because there's usually only two of us living in the house. The 150 liter tank has proven to be more than adequate for our needs. The Evo150-1 has a timer option that allows us to heat the water during daytime when our solar panels' electricity generation is optimal. EVO150 – We installed the EVO150 to replace our ageing electric Hot Water service. Our new unit has been in operation for only a few days however, I couldn't be happier. Despite the comments online about noise I found the noise level very low and hardly disruptive as the unit seemed to turn on quite infrequently to maintain water temperature.
Excellent Hot Water System – The old Rheem electric hot water system died and replaced it with the EVO150-1. Couldn't be happier with it's performance. Produces consistent hot water, heats the water quickly, quiet and can be customised easily when needed.
