THE DUMB DUMB EXPERIENCE

Worst experience! It's a shame! You pay $40 per group to follow lame clues that lead you to NOWHERE! THE OZ EXPERIENCE is an exercise in futility and stupidity. Take the $40 and go out to lunch!

Loved it - Breakfast with Koalas experience

Did the breakfast with koalas in Sydney. It was such a special experience, and I loved that we had early access to WILD LIFE to beat the crowd. Really great value.

Sydney sunset sailing - so easy

We did a catamaran sunset sail on Sydney Harbour with Experience Oz. Kids enjoyed everything and the process of booking was really easy. Affordable and included nibbles. We are locals but still thought this was just magical. Booked through Shopback so got a further cash back saving. Will book our theme park tix here too as the prices are so good. Show details

Gift was put through as a gift voucher by them and they BLAMED US

I bought Village Super Pass for my partner's birthday and we went to redeem it yesterday. They have changed the gift to a gift voucher and are now asking us to pay an additional $30. Called them and they then told us it was our stuff up and we have to pay the money for the pass. No help whatsoever and no compassion or understanding. PURCHASE BUTTON DOES NOT WORK

I have tried to purchase tickets for the seven day theme park at $169 each. I fill in the guest details as required but when I select the payment nothing happens. I have tried logging in with facebbok and a message comes up the app is not working and Experience Oz are aware it is not working. How can I purchase tickets if their system is a fail? Show details

This company is a scam!

I booked through them some tickets. Called their number for days as we got sick and needed to just change for another day. There is no support to change the day. No one answers their phones. Spent over 2 hours ringing and on hold but no one ever answered. You then just lose your booking and money. I would avoid using this company at all costs. Be prepared to lose your money if you use them to book anything! Even giving them a 1 is too much. Reviews should have a 0. Show details

Left customers stranded - do NOT recommend

We booked a Kuranda tour, however we were stranded at the Freshwater bus terminal as no bus transfer was included back to the carpark…so we had to stand around for 30 minutes trying to get an Uber back. This was a massive oversight by Experience Oz, every other company had organised a bus transfer back to the carpark, which is common sense. Do NOT book with this company - find another one, any other one. What a joke. Show details

No reply and refund

I booked parasail voucher for 5 worth 360$ From experience oz in Gold Coast Watersports Jet Ski and Parasailing - Gold Coast. They called me and informed because of parasail maintenance for easter they are not doing any parasail for few weeks and suggested for refund from experience oz. I tried calling several times but no answer also filled refund form as well mailed.

Ticket exchange shambles

My mother bought me and my partner 2 x tickets for a river cruise on the Yarra. Finally got around to redeeming them after all the crap with the pandemic. Then on the day of the cruise my partner has a heavy cold so asks me to rebook for another day. Called Experience Oz and they would only rebook if we (a) paid them $60 a head on top of the already purchased tickets or (b) provide a doctor's certificate!

Told them I'm not willing to pay more and it's plainly ridiculous for me to tell my partner to get out of bed and head to the doctors to get confirmation of a head cold. But they wouldn't budge. It's policy, I was told. What a terrible way to treat people. Show details

Worst business I have ever dealt with

Booked three tickets for myself and my children. They only honoured one of the tickets. Tried calling and emailing for two months and no one ever answered. Finally went to their office, where they did not care, blamed the service on the lack of staff.

Would not provide another copy of my second ticket

Before COVID, I booked two tickets. One came through, and the other never did. I tried to call but was placed on hold for 40 minutes, then wrote and email them twice, one week apart, to get this ticket through again and they never responded. Show details

Not happy

I bought a voucher for my partner and did what it said to redeem it but the ticket was never emailed to us. I then went on the website to try again and it says on my phone and iPad that I was offline which I clearly wasn’t because I was online with other matters. This I found a bit odd as it worked every other time. I’ve never had any problems with other experience websites at all. Not happy at all. Refund!! Show details

Kept our money even though booking failed

In submitting payment an error appears that payment wasn’t completed. Tried again still same error, however my bank account was showing both payments were processed. It’s now 3 days later no booking and they still have our money. They claim it’s my back holding the funds however my bank is showing they have not received the return and it’s still with experience oz. never again will I use this website who was recommended by G’day rewards. I feel ripped off. I ended up purchasing our booking directly with the operator and we had a wonderful experience. Show details

I booked a Horizontal Falls & Cape Levique Tour and $1900 was deducted from my account on the same day that I received an email from Experience Oz saying that my date was unavailable.
Surely you would check availability before deducting funds.
