From Bad to Worse
I have been shopping with Ezibuy for about 20 years & in the last few years they have become a terrible company to deal with. Their quality has decreased very badly, while they have substantially increased prices by a large amount so that they can then offer 'sale' discounts. They also promote sales such as "40% off everything" or dresses or homewares etc, but then you will find that the fine print says 'selected styles only' or at checkout, they will tell you that the discount has already been applied to a sale item and therefore there is no f...urther discount. I actually believe that both of these practices breach consumer law so I'm not sure how they continue to get away with it. Even pre-Covid, their delivery times were bad, approximately 10 days to Queensland and are now currently atrocious. A huge complaint is their returns process - yes, you can get a refund BUT beware you will be waiting 8 to 10 weeks. Again, this was the norm long before Covid. Ezibuy receive the returns but refuse to process them for weeks and weeks - then refund items here & there not the whole return. You will find it difficult to contact them - don't bother emailing - you will wait a week for a response and it will deliberately avoid giving you the information you have asked for. The customer service team deliberately lie about the location of your parcel or return, claim that they have called you or emailed you when they have not & on several occasions have become rude and actually blamed the customer. It is no surprise that they have removed all their customer reviews from their website - they were invaluable in regards to judging size and quality from actual customers. Ezibuy say it's a "technical issue" - as if! There are plenty of other far superior online retailers - save your time and money and go elsewhere.
I purchased three garments and I had to return two of them. One because the size was big for me and the other one was because the fabric wrinkles easily, even if you iron it. On 30 of September I sent the parcel by Post Office using the label attached in the delivery, but I have not got my refund yet. It has been almost two months without any solution.
Have gone downhill
I've been a customer for around 20 years and up until recently, would have recommended their prices, stock and customer service to anybody.
However, lately things have gone downhill. First of all, there aren't a lot reviews anymore and the ones that are still there, are old. I only understand why now, reading the reviews here.
Secondly - I ordered the 9 piece glassware kitchen storage set today because I received a 40% off voucher. Thinking I was getting a good bargain I purchased the set for $167, normally retailing on Ezibuy at around ...$280. Stupidly I didn't shop around first because after I'd ordered it, I had a look online and it retails pretty much everywhere for $100-120. They've marked this item up $180! I phoned customer service 20 minutes after I made the order to request a cancellation and was told it was too late. Sure it was. I've sent an email to complain but judging from some of people's experiences outlined here, I won't be holding my breath waiting for an explanation.
Items returned for refund or reorder no update
First time buyer with Ezibuy. This is a review on the return process. Many items I needed to exchange for a different size. Be aware the items need to be returned to New Zealand (it is stated on their website). They were delivered on the 22/10 October to Ezibuy returns address in Qld. You do not receive any updates from Ezibuy on this process online. After query last week today I have received email 15-20 working days to be received and processed (so 3-4 weeks). Even though they are working with Covid delays I still think this is a long time before you even know they have it.
Excellent Customer Service after incorrect sized item received
I received an incorrect size skirt. The size 12 skirt in a size 14 bag. I returned the skirt and requested a size 14. I missed one email requesting further details. When I received an email to post a review I completed a very negative review. I had tried calling and emailing with no response. I located the missed email requesting further details. I responded to the email and within 48 hours I received a response. An apology was received and the size 14 skirt would be sent. Within 7 days I received the skirt. I have ordered from Ezibuy for over 10 years and pleased with the customer service. I hope the individual reviews can be reinstated. The reviews assisted me with ordering the correct size.
Ezibuy has changed
To me a long term happy customer, Ezibuy has changed, when ordering I noticed individual customers reviews were missing, the reviews helped me decide on ordering
My last order for 4 items is a disappointment, usually I received my orders within 7 days
I recieved one item 2 weeks after ordering
I finally received 3 more items
One shirt is missing and I received an ugly black and white knitted dress, something I would never order
One of the tee shirts I received is a pink and white stripe, the material is so thin you can see through it
I have sent 2 emails days ago with no reply
Improve quality and bring back customer reviews!
I have been a customer Of Ezibuy for many years and over the last few months I have noticed the quality of the materials have dropped drastically. Also the reviews by other customers helped me choose the sizing as some items are large or small make. I have decided not to buy from Ezibuy unless they have improve the quality of the items, bring back the customer reviews and improve their customer service.
Used to be so good. Now in race to bottom
I have been an Ezibuy customer for over twenty years, since the beginning in fact but sadly no more. The quality of their clothes has declined badly. A recently purchased top is now unwearable after just one wash even though I followed the instructions to the letter. The fabrics are horrible all synthetic and viscose and for larger ladies there are only dreadful colours and patterns. Pride in workmanship and quality control appear to be non-existent as is customer service.
To make matters worse an Ezibuy representative told me a blatant lie. ...When I asked why the customer reviews had disappeared from Ezibuy's website I was told it was a computer glitch. This was two months ago and the they still have not reappeared. A glitch could be fixed much more quickly than this. I notice when I look at BeMe's and Autograph's websites Ezibuy products are listed. BeMe and Autograph's quality has diminished greatly in the past few years although both used to produce excellent clothes. It looks like these brands are all one company now and as I said in a race to the bottom in terms of quality, choice and customer service. So glad I can draft, sew and make my own clothes.
Not worth the time, quality not great
I spent a considerable time shopping for new items, made the order and waited, one of the parcels arrived within the week but the other took several weeks. Once received, I thought the overall quality of the items to be average, and they are oversized for me, so I had to return most of them. Unfortunately this process took about 6 weeks, I posted them off straight away and they sat at a distribution centre in Redbank waiting for the next shipment to New Zealand. I waited 6 weeks before I finally got refund. This is too slow, I would not bother going through this process again, its not worth it.

Ezibuy- A Gradual decline
Firstly on a positive note, there are loads of beautiful items to choose from. It’s my personal thoughts that for the quality, the prices are high which is why they can have so many ‘sales’. There is no longer a distribution centre in Australia so all returns go back to NZ once their container/cage is full of mail. The quality in garments has declined. One linen top I wore for the first time frayed all across the front and part of the back. The Linen material was very thin and the replacement was no better. I stitched the replacement on my mac...hine when it arrived as it too was frayed and not stitched correctly. The top still sits over my machine awaiting more stitching and remains unworn! I had a pair of linen pants sent recently, with the security tag still attached! Changes have occurred with my orders due to stock issues, Covid problems etc but no communications are ever sent. It’s incredibly hard to contact support staff and although problems are mostly rectified, they seem indifferent to complaints. Ezibuy have not reinstated delivery to a local WW as an option and they have also removed Customer reviews, which many of us rely on for sizing, fit, feel etc. It’s such a shame because Ezibuy had a winning formula and I was a big purchaser but there are more negatives than positives for me now. My recent purchases will be my last..
Sad decline of a once great business
EziBuy has lost me as a customer. Removal of reviews and what can only be described as dreadful customer service has seen many loyal customers abandon this business. It is sad to see the decline of a once great business and the obvious apathy of EziBuy management towards their customers. In a time when we are all doing much more online shopping you would think they would be doing all they can to win business. Here’s a little free advice EziBuy, listen to your customers if you want to keep your business profitable.
No reviews, no customers
I like many others am disappointed to see the product reviews removed. I always checked the reviews before I purchased. I also think the reviews were very fair and genuinely about informing others about features of the products that weren’t included in the generic marketing descriptions.
I purchased nearly all my clothing from Ezibuy over the last few years. Without reviews and if refunds are as slow as people say that is about to change.
Also now I’ve read the reviews here about the change of ownership I understand why I suddenly started receiving emails from the other Mosaic brands. I didn’t know why I was receiving emails from stores I’d never purchased from or agreed to receive emails from.
I have been a customer of Ezibuy for many years and becoming more dissatisfied with their service. I have returned 2 orders recently due to terrible quality and still can’t get a refund. Emails go unanswered and no one answered the phone.
Finally I received an email which says that returns from Australia go to a central depot where they are collected in a cage. Only when that cage is full is it sent to NZ and then sorted and processed for the refund.
Naturally they then blame COVID for delays in sending the freight to NZ!
They don’t have these problems taking my money when I buy something - that goes through instantly!
They have lost me as a customer through their incompetence.
Bring Back Reviews. Be Honest.
Have been a customer for over 20 years. Used to love this site and recommended it to everyone. However in the last 18 months or so the quality has really gone downhill, workmanship, fabric, sizing accuracy. But the reviews were so helpful in navagating this so was still confident in ordering. Now they have taken the reviews away I will no longer be ordering. And why lie and say it is a technical issue? Rubbish. We are not stupid. You have lost confidence in what you sell. Now you are losing customers!!
No reviews no buy
I thought the reviews had changed location and couldn’t locate. Glad I googled and found this website. Sad that they removed. Like everyone else here I relied upon others experience to determine correct sizing. Will no longer use. Also disappointing they haven’t reinstated pick up from Big W stores!
Where's my order !!
I have been a customer of Ezibuys for many years and up until the last 18 months have always been happy with my purchases. I have had numerous badly mad purchases over that time, some are so bad they looked like I'd bought them from a dodgy Asian company. On September 1st I ordered a Denim jacket. When I rang to find out where my order was I was told it was on back order until the end of October, at no stage during the ordering process was I told it would be a back order. My account was debited on the day I placed the order which means by the ...time it's dispatched it will be 3 months !! I also had returned 2 tops that were nothing like the picture of them in the catalogue, that was on August 27th, I'm still waiting for my refund despite being told they have received them. I am so disillusioned with this company that I will NEVER order from them again. I would say to anyone thinking of ordering to double check they have the item, as it is never disclosed at time of placing an order.
Couldn't even buy product
Tried to purchase two lamps on pre-order. Specific lamps said only ship to NZ. That's great, I live in NZ! Signed up, got a voucher for $20 off, even better! Added two lamps to my cart, selected delivery, noticed $20 shipping for larger items, okay, that's fine. Go to purchase 'This item cannot be delivered to your address, please change country". Um? Tried three different addresses in NZ, none of them worked, checked product description, definitely NZ only. Contacted through FB, advised have to call them. Emailed them with screen shots, "Not s...ure why that's not working, call us to order". Noticed lamp went on sale even though it's still preorder and date has been pushed back a month, still can't order. Given up. (Didn't call coz it's on 0508 which can cost from mobile - and I shouldn't have to, they should be able to fix the issue).
Long term ezibuy customer. No more. Was told over a month ago by Ezibuy that reviews had disappeared due to glitch with website. Obviously a straight out lie. Would seem to be the end of a once excellent business. Shame.
Questions & Answers
How long does it take to get a refund?? I sent $400 worth of items back 4-5 weeks ago and have heard nothing!!!! Unacceptable!!! If they do this to everyone they can collect a nice little profit on that money.
Can anyone suggest other online clothing sites for mature women that they have had good experiences with?
I have just put an order in to tulio.com.au. The prices are very reasonable and some of the clothes are Australian made. They are based in Queensland. Can’t tell you about quality yet. blue bungalow.com.au is another Queensland based company selling online.
i bought something in ezbuy and it says that the item is not availble anymore but i already paid for it..my money was send back on my ezbuy account but i dont know how to get or use it again to purchase can u help me how
