I had an issue with one of my Infinity fans and Fanco were excellent with their diagnostic and warranty service. They organised a local electrician from Short Circuit Electrics and the parts and the problem was fixed within a week. The fans are great and the service behind their products are second to none. I had an electrician install a fanco fan in my loungeroom a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, the motor inside the fan broke recently. Yet, when I reached out to fanco about this they were very fast at organising a replacement motor under warranty with no cost to me. I was very impressed with their services 2 years after purchasing this product. My electrician has installed the motor, and everything is running smoothly again. Show details

Good after sales support – We got the 52 eco silent fan with LED light. I like the ability to dim and brighten the light, as well as v various fan speeds. We had a glitch with the remote. The great thing was the after sales to resolve any problems - thank you Ron and Victor.

appropriate paperwork. 12 months down the track and I had a similar issue with the same fan. As the fan was out of warranty I purchased a replacement light through a local distributor. Unfortunately the light still did not work.
I approached fanco knowing that I was out of warranty but because it appeared to be the same problem thought it best to try.
Fanco were very prompt in resolving this solution. The whole issue was sorted out in a few hours. Despite being out of warranty Fanco went beyond their obligations and offered to replace the whole unit. While I would be responsible for the electrician to install.
I have been burned with other companies before from products dieing just out of warranty and I was pleasantly surprised by the efforts of the Fanco team. Well Done.
Don't expect any support after warranty period – At just under 3 years old my Horizon fan stopped working after being switched off to clean. At first contact via phone I thought it sounded promising, I was directed to fill in a warranty claim via the Fanco website and went on to supply purchase details and video of the problem. replacement parts and due to the fact that it was outside the 2 year warranty they could not help other than to offer a pathetic discount on the new model that they had parts for or buy an old model the same as mine as they had no idea if it was the receiver, motor or both that was the problem.
I argued that Fair trading requires businesses to stock spares for a reasonable time and I would consider a $500 fan to have spares available for a good while. I also wasn't expecting a free solution but something to fix what I would consider to be a reasonably expensive fan without forking out further cash on a new model or buying the same dud again. Ron's offer was still only to sell me the old model or a new one at a slightly larger discount.
Fortunately, I took to the receiver with a screwdriver and discovered a swollen 10v 470uf capacitor. 50 cents and a couple of minutes with a soldering iron and it goes again. Having fixed it I decided to take the discount offered on a new fan as I will need another one anyway in another room and better than any black Friday sale. The fan itself is quite good when going but Fanco with their premium prices and lack of support are not worth it.

the light switch on the wall would typically become an isolation switch (and will not control the fan).
If wanting to use a wall switch to control the fan however, you will need to look at the AC range and in particular something like the Urban2 AC (https://www.fanco.com.au/urban-2-range/) or the Urban ABS range (https://www.fanco.com.au/urban-outdoor-range/)
There are then three possible options for installation, which will depend on your preferences and what is possible in your situation (you'll need to confirm this with your electrician);
Option 1 - Use the optional extra remote to control both the light and the fan, and the current light wall switch will become just a power switch to the whole unit
Option 2 - Keep the wall switch for the light, and use the remote for the fan only
Option 3 - Use the existing wall control (packaged with the urban 2 AC) to operate the light and fan

Recently interacted with fanco about a ceiling fan issue. I was advised that the fan was outside the in home warranty period but the motor warranty period so applied. In stead of sending the motor replacement, the consultant Victor kindly offered to send a new fan instead. I contacted Fanco about a week ago for technical support. Response was slow & disappointing. It was difficult to find a contact - no phone number listed, just a web form. This is not very customer friendly & contributed to the slow response. Today, I contacted Fanco as a follow up and spoke to Victor in the tech support team. Today I contacted Fanco customer service and spoke with Victor. He solved my problem by reply email so I could sort a problem with reversing the fan direction using the wall controller. Easily fixed and Victor was very good to speak with in regard to the problem. Show reply

Purchased a Fanco fan which was great but was making a persistent clicking sound. Had some difficulty connecting the fans to the Tuya Smart app. Fanco responded to my inquiry within hours and booked a tech support call with Victor for the next day. Quiet, super efficient (low energy, high air movement) fan. Our 52” surprisingly cools our whole open plan living/dining area when we got it just for the 4x4m TV area. Warranty service was brilliant as we had an issue w the fan not initially starting that turned out to be just a simple remote pairing issue. However the retailer Fansonline was appalling; service section only contactable via email with AI written responses that refused to assist us with remedying the problem and instead kept batting us to the manufacturer which is against Consumer Law when products are not working out of the box. Thankfully Fanco were great.

I bought and had installed 5 x eco breeze DC fans and loved them. Unfortunately 1 of the fan motors failed after 2 years of issue free running I followed the warranty process and the team where quick to respond and went above what I believed to be required to rectify the issue and send a replacement fan out. convenient. The fan turns on and off depending on the actual temperature in the room because it has a sensor, no app involved. However, this is a noisy AC fan that I am replacing with a Fanco DC smart fan but I want to keep that feature. What I appreciate most was that Kishan has taken the time to look into/confirm that my plan to pair the fan with a Tuya-compatible indoor temperature sensor will actually work. To top it off, I got advice on the best fans for my purposes. 5 fat stars for customer service.
