What service – We purchased 9 bonded leather chairs and a Hampton bar table and 4 high bonded chairs and we are having the same problem and no customer service when all started peeling. It was a good group years ago but it shows people power has forced this group to go under.
What an awful product! – Purchased bonded corner sofa, in store, Far Pavilions - Logan, within 1 year it began peeling and sagged massively in the seating. What an awful product, I see on the label underneath "made in China", that say's it all. We are middle aged empty nesters and treat all our possessions with care. We spoke with staff who advised everyone who purchased this product was experiencing the same dilemma and there was no warranty!
Worst after service experience ever – Completely unsurprised and glad this terrible company has gone belly up. Bought a large leather bonded corner lounge, within a year it started peeling! When I contacted I was advised it was floor stock and therefor I have no warranty??!!!!

Great Service – Bought an Elly Occasional chair from the Helensvale store, when got it home and put it together it did not sit straight so called and Johnathan the manager was more than helpful making sure I had put it together correctly then when ascertaining that I had offered a replacement which I picked up the next day, love my new chair and foot stool.
Everyone loves the furniture – We bought some Elly occasional chairs, and a marble top round table for our reception, and all our clients have been very impressed, as are we. The chairs are extremely comfortable, cosy and supportive. Will definitely shop their again.

Worst experience ever!!! – Purchased a Leather Bonded Suite. 18mths old now. The day we got it the usb ports wouldn't work. They were helpful with this part by sending another replacement suite. 12mths later the leather bonding started peeling. I called them and they said it was out of warranty and there was nothing they could do. Now 18mths later I am stuck with a $3500 suite that is peeling in different places and worthless!!! Im glad they have gone broke. Poor service and stupid company policies.
My chair in receivership – Bought instore, helpful staff, paid for delivery.... 2 days later in receivership. Lots of grief, told 3 times no chair/money. THEN told months later can go to a warehouse south of Brisbane, only during a few restricted hours over 3days and collect it, or it goes to auction. Finally found someone to take me (Sunshine Coast) Hurrah.... got it.
Thieves – Ordered 6 chairs, and got charged for 8 - rang the store to get a credit and told they were in receivership. They told me l would have to call the administrators. No one answers the phone or emails that l have sent. This is theft! When l rang the store again to see whether l can redeem the money l am owed in stock, l got hung up on.

Shocking customer service – We bought a leather sofa from their capalaba store. Within 2 weeks the leather started to peel and crack. The store refused to help or replace. We went to Fair Trading and lodged a formal complaint - now the business is in liquidation - we probably won't be reimbursed. The business has got what it deserves - shouldn't be in business.

Rude staff. Poor customer service – I purchased two bedside tables, which i returned the following day as they were not suitable. Not only was the store staff rude before I even had a chance to speak, I was told if I wanted a credit note I had to drive over an hour to the initial shop of purchase or wait until it was posted out the following week. Staff have no manners and are extremely unhelpful. I wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing from this shop

The Couch was looked after, no direct sun, no pets, and dusted with a cloth every week, but I was told it was my fault!!!

Horrible customer service – Absolutely terrible customer service! Will never ever buy from there again. Nor would I recommend to anyone! Been waiting 4 months for a day bed they said would take 1 to 1 and a half months to tell me know it will be another month. Spoke to multiple people all told me different things "on the ship- in transit", "off the ship", "hasn't left", "has left".
Sofa peeling after only 1.5yrs – Purchased couch only 1.5yrs ago and now the fabric is peeling and flaking. In-store staff were very helpful and asked me to email with photos. Then I was contacted by head office, she wouldn't even look at the email and said there was nothing they could do. Now I'm left with a 1.5yr old couch that has been cared for as recommended and now needs to be replaced. Sounds like other people have had the same experience. Would never shop there again
I feel your pain. Their "entrapment" tactics are dreadful – Our bonded leather lounge suddenly started crumbling at 2 years of age. way. Took it to Fair Trading. The results are slightly better, but we're in the position of having a lounge thats falling apart, the cost of a new one plus disposal of the crumbling one. AND there is a very distinct difference between the fabric on the back of the lounge compared to the seats. If I had the time and money, I'd get them tested to catch them out.

owning it for a short time. I then asked if she can recommend someone to help me fix it, which she said no. I received no help in regards to what I can do now and when asked to speak to Someone else she said I couldn't... Very disappointed and will not go back! Very unhelpful and seemed like they had no knowledge of their product or desire to help out customers.
Great product and service – I recently purchased two occasional tables and an ottoman. One of the tables had some minor damage which was replaced quickly and easily by Far Pavilions helpful staff. Great product and service
Terrible quality, terrible customer service – We purchased 2 lounges, within 4 months the fabric started to pill badly like everyone we had no luck with customer service, in fact we were told it was our fault according to there warranty expert we sat on our lounge with course clothes, I asked what we should sit on the lounge with,she stated not course fabric, I think everyone of us should ban together and go to media and get our products fixed shocking service
Shoddy quality item – We purchased what we thought was a leather lounge from this company. It was awful. After about three months the 'leather' began to peel and it now looks ugly and fit for the bin. The bin.
Shocking. Never again – Shocking customer service. This is the second time they cancel the delivery (first time around they didn't even bother to call, they just didn't turn up.)and now they are saying that they might deliver in 2 weeks! We have been waiting for 6 weeks for the already paid for chairs. I will never spend a cent at this place. Not worth the hassle. It is a disgrace and the worst shopping experience I had in ages. No wonder the shops are empty.
Awful refund policy and quite arrogant once they have taken your money – At first they seem all helpful and cheery but after the transaction you're on your own. Didn't order from warehouse in time and delivery dates kept changing. After three weeks of being given the run around I asked to cancel so I could go elsewhere and get one sooner and was responded with fine but it's a 20% cancellation fee. Just not reliable

synthetic coating that actually made it far more durable and lower maintenance than a regular leather lounge, "you can just wipe it with a cloth".
After a few months one panel on the chaise began to crack and very soon after the surface rapidly began peeling off. The material that is peeling is extremely thin and looks like a very poor quality imitation leather. The staff at our local store had us email them photos that they then passed onto head office. The staff member from head office that called me claimed that we had failed to care for the lounge by providing "specialist care" - treating it with a particular cleaning & conditioning product every 3 months and therefore we had voided any warranty. I also said that I had wiped the ARM of the lounge with a cloth (as the salesperson had advised was appropriate and where it is NOT peeling) and the staff member persisted in misquoting me and claimed that I had clearly admitted to mistreating the lounge by 'washing it down'. When I asked why, if the lounge suite required 'specialist cleaning', had we not been informed by the salesperson or with written information that should have been provided with the lounge that this care was required and was told that 'it was up to me as the buyer to find out what was needed, Far Pavilions have no obligation to tell you that'.
The attitude, lies and blaming that the head office staff member persisted with were disgusting - every time I tried to point out that she was blatantly misquoting me and refusing to enter into a conversation about the issue at hand she just stonewalled me and told me there was no point continuing the conversation because Far Pavilions were not going to do anything about it.
regarding warranty – Have bought 2 x lounges...both blistered ,cracking and`peeling, rang store very helpful.... asked for photos to email back......which they will send to customer service. So far so good will keep u posted with end result.
Awful customer service/refund policy – Bought a small side table from them to stand a statue on. I asked several times if I could take it make if it wasn't appropriate, to which I was given a yes. of this at all. then the girl that sold it to us said that she thought we would bring it back the next day. We didn't say this at all - we couldn't if taken it back by then. DONT SHOP HERE!!! They tell lies and virtually have NO refund policy.
bad customer service – I bought a dinner table with bench from Far Pavilions. At my first dinner party somebody spilled some food. the table but a dinner table should be sealed to avoid staining. When buying a product the customer should it is not save to use the customer should be made aware of this, which I was not. I was told that it is not their responsibility, but the customer's to find out what is needed. It was a typical example of ''blame the customer''. At no stage was I given advice on how to treat the stain or given the hope that an expert would be able to help me. I certainly will not buy again from Far Pavilions and make sure my friends will hear about it. It seems I am not the only one who is upset about the customer service. Buyer Beware – I recently took delivery of an Ontario 2 seater lounge and a chaise with French writing on the fabric. the store and said I wanted to return them as I couldn't use them. I was told it would cost me $100 to have them picked up and that I would get a gift certificate for the amount I paid. When I said I didn't want a gift certificate, I was told that I would then have to pay a 20% fee for a cancelled order. The furniture driver told me that he had informed Far Pavilions of this problem many times. Not once was I told that their lounges would not fit through a standard door. I was told that zit was my responsibility to ensure that the furniture would fit. Had I known beforehand that they wouldn't fit, I would never have bought them. I atleast have one chair that I can use and the dining setting fitted through the door but no lounges. I will never buy from this lot again as their attitude is that everything is your fault and they will make you pay.
Really Terrible – Not even eligible for a star. Worst customer service ever. Once they take your money, they don't care if it gets delivered or not. No refunds ever. No delivery times certainty. Worst people to deal with. Never buying anything from them ever again.
worst customer service ever – They sold us a faulty sofa and didnt want to change it . They blamed it on us send someone out and invoiced us as well.... I spent more than 4k in their store also delivery guys charged us extra 200 dollars by force and treated us no invoice cash
They have lost a customer! – The drivers were 30 minutes early therefore, I've missed my delivery. Then they wanted to charge me a re-delivery fee! When we suggested that the lounges were not fit for purpose, we were reminded that fair trading would not agree. Whilst the customer service person was polite and businesslike, she was not receptive to an offer of some store credit so we could upgrade. Needless to say we felt that our continued business would have made up any minor capital loss for the company.
It is our opinion that despite the above, the product was not fit for the purpose expected and we would not be returning to the business again.

see if it progressed further. It didn't luckily, but after persuasion by friends I eventually approached them. Unfortunately I had left it to within days of the warranty expiring. Even though the store said it shouldn't be a problem to get fixed, head office had the audacity to suggest we had done it and the warranty had now expired (took over a week to get back to me) - so my problem. Our lounge is in immaculate condition otherwise - and although intending to get another piece shortly and let bygons be bygons - they have lost my custom for sure.
Worst quality furniture – I purchased the Magnetic lounge in January this year and it was replaced for me in April when the back legs snapped and fabric began piling. So the legs are wobbling again and fabric is terrible and Far Pavilions supposed customer service team tell me it's not their problem. Will NEVER buy or recommend them to anyone. Avoid their cheap nasty furniture.
Bad customer service – Customer service is terrible, and the staff are unwilling to assist. Unreliable delivery details. I'll shop elsewhere in future.
