in first place, as there was discrepencies in measurement, this is a cheap deal as they should have declined to accept the consignment and contacted me, to see if i accept to go a head or not, instead of delivering and then overcharging random high figure. very cheap cheat.

I received a quote for interstate shipping based on the great reviews here, but was overcharged regardless. The quote to ship some boxes was ~$85 and I took the required photos before sending, but was told after it had shipped that the measurements I provided of the boxes were incorrect. The carrier then sent me a bill for $65 saying my measurements were incorrect, and provided their measurements, which were all different despite using 4 identical boxes. These measurements meant I was 200ml/cm3 over what I had paid for... $65 for less than a cup of water!
They didn't agree when I disputed the claim, and sent it to a debt recovery agency to claim. I just paid it to save the extra trouble - avoid in future.

We booked a courier from Katherine to Adelaide for a door to door pick-up. It is a great concept. They recommended Startrack for $157 with a two day delivery. The parcel was never picked up. dump my fridge on a giant pallet at the curbside or loading dock. The driver was extremely rude, aggressive, and simply left without delivering – even when I had organised a proper trolley rated for the fridge weight and building manager was present to assist.
I lodged a complaint with Fast Courier customer service. They apologised, promised resolution within 24 hours, and said they would arrange a new delivery with a different driver. Instead, the exact same driver was sent again! Later, their customer service completely contradicted themselves, saying “it’s not our problem” and suggested I collect the fridge myself from the depot.
It has now been over a week, I still don’t have my fridge, and all I’ve received is contradictory emails, broken promises, stress, and zero accountability. This company is absolutely disgraceful – they take your money but do not provide the service advertised.
⚠️ Do NOT trust Fast Courier. They accept the job and payment, but then push it onto their partner who refuses to deliver to your door, even when your address clearly specifies a unit delivery.

Extra $440. I have written to Fast Courier with zero response. There Is no other way to contact them. Their website has an icon where you can dispute the charges but it is locked can’t use it. I have photo measurements which disputes their charge. A box 1.5m x1.5m x 150mm and 15 kg (a painting)$720 rip off big time. Use a reputable company. I have reported to ACCC. Their response was contact us that’s nonsense I have emailed no response.

home in Rainbow Beach QLD. Initially I thought it was a mistake as I had precisely provided the correct dimensions of the TV in its box. After asking for a review an email advised that the TV required palletising due to rules on certain weights and dimensions and concerns for automation of sorting and the health of staff. No mention of this when quoted. After numerous emails and a threat of the amount being sent for debt collection,I contacted ACCC and QLD Consumer Protection. I decided I had enough of wasting my time and the fact that the company wasn’t interested in doing anything other than obfuscating and pointing out that I had ticked the box saying I had accepted there terms and conditions. Bitterly disappointed, in the company conduct and the shifting of blame to me. The company knows that TV Boxes need to be palletised, however it’s not being up front to customers and the extra cost, probably because people will balk at using their services. The issue could easily be fixed by changing the parameters of their quote system, providing accurate quotes and warnings, which I stated in my final statement. DO NOT USE. Six months after your parcel is delivered they will attempt to take money from your credit card loads of times - apparently for zoning. There is no terms and conditions stated when joining - you do not tick a box stating you agree to anything. Arbitrary Charges: Both parcels were in original, new packaging. Despite this, they demanded additional fees without providing specific details or proof of why the charges were applied. There was no mention, whether it was due to weight or dimensions, they simply wanted more money without any factual or supportive basis of demand.
Zero Accountability: There is no contact number to call them. They hide behind a one-way email system where they send demands but never respond to inquiries. This lack of two-way communication is clearly intentional to avoid being held accountable.
Aggressive Tactics: After failing to explain the charges via email, they resorted to sending texts from a "recovery company" to pressure payment.
Whether you are an individual or a business, stay away. This is an unprofessional, low-ethics operation that relies on hidden fees and a total lack of transparency.
A Small Tip for everyone: Ensure you have saved and kept the original booking confirmation and photos of the parcels for a while, as they can demand money after several months of delivery as in my case. But if they cannot provide a "re-weigh certificate" or a photo of the parcels on a scale, their claims for additional money are often legally difficult for them to enforce in Australia.

I have had a very poor experience with Fast Couriers due to repeated billing inconsistencies and what appears to be unjustified overcharging. Most recently, I sent a pallet to Queensland using TNT through Fast Couriers. The issue is this: Fast Couriers claimed the pallet weight was 550kg and used that as the reason for the extra charge. However, when I re entered the exact same pallet dimensions and the same 550kg weight into their own quoting system, the quote returned was the same as the original amount I was first charged. In other words, their own system does not reproduce the extra charge they applied.
That means the surcharge appears to be: inconsistent with their own quoting system unsupported by the shipment details applied without proper transparency or consent This is what makes the whole situation so frustrating. If a company is going to add charges after booking, there should be clear evidence and a pricing method that can actually be verified. In this case, the additional amount could not be replicated even using the courier’s own declared weight.
To make matters worse, this is not the first time I have had issues with overcharging through Fast Couriers. At this point it feels like there is a serious lack of billing accuracy and accountability in how adjustments are being passed on to customers. My contract and booking were with Fast Couriers, not TNT directly, so responsibility for these charges still sits with Fast Couriers. Passing on unexplained carrier adjustments without proper documentation is not acceptable.
What I expected: clear and consistent pricing evidence for any weight adjustment transparency before additional charges were applied prompt correction when the overcharge was raised
What I got: an excessive extra charge no transparent explanation a charge that could not be reproduced in their own quote system unnecessary time wasted disputing something that should have been straightforward
I would strongly caution other businesses using Fast Couriers to double check every invoice and any post shipment adjustments carefully. Based on my experience, the quoted price and the final charge do not always seem to line up, and resolving it takes more effort than it should. Very disappointing experience.
