Fastways couriers poor tracking and delivery

I cringe everytime I purchase on eBay and find fastways is the last way I want goods delivered.

Tracking updates are rare, deliveries run late, it's frustrating not being able to know the progress of my deliveries.

The delivery driver is their greatest asset, the logistics and admin of tracking is appalling. Show details

Item thrown over our fence

We live on a corner property. 99% of our deliveries are left on our front porch, behind the screen door or our letterbox. A recent package from Fastway / Aramex was literally thrown over the fence into our backyard, where our labrador has chewed and completely destroyed the item inside. If you ever need to send or receive a parcel you get better service using a pigeon

Been waiting for my urgent delivery for my parcel ive just got of the phone to the Mackay office and they really didnt care or couldn't give me any details of when I will receive my delivery, not a acceptable service ,ive never used this company before and I very much doubt will ever use them again unless something changes but I dont think it ever will, customer service is shocking they dont care at all I want my delivery asap Show details

Item touring Australia but not actually being delivered

I purchased an item online from QLD. It went to the QLD depot, then the Sydney depot, then Adelaide before sitting in the Perth depot. I'm pleased my item got to tour Australia but I'm pretty keen to get the thing actually delivered! They tell me its now sitting in the Perth courier bay. Presumably enjoying a light lunch before travelling on. Why are retailers still using this company? Show details

I didn't expect this

I thought I would have issues with this company from the reviews alone but my package came without any issues. Supposed to take 10-20 days but came in 9 days (including the processing time for the sender). Came in perfect condition!

The only issues I had (which weren't issues I was bothered with but might be for others) was it was left at the security door instead of ringing the buzzer. I have good neighbours that grabbed it and left it at my front door but if you live in an unsafe neighbourhood, it would be an issue. Great service from Fastway Couriers

I ordered an LED floodlight from ebay on Wed 8th May. I received notification that it would be delivered between 10th - 14th May, followed by another stating that it would be on the 14th.
On the 13th I received another email that it was scheduled for delivery that day.
I went out the front at 10am and it was on the mat.
Good service and the item is in excellent condition. My only criticism is that the delivery person could have rung the doorbell to alert me. Apart from that, all good.

Arramex Sydney - I am a small business and have rang every day for 4 days trying to get a parcel picked up. Customer Service will not give out mobile number of my local courier, I am unable to speak to a supervisor and was told that I cannot make a formal complaint. Today their customer service actually hung up on me after saying that they were going to send yet another email to their operations team to follow up. What a joke. Show details

Keep forgetting to specifically ask eBay not to use fastway as what they think is a safe place is definitely not my idea of safe.
Hanging out the letterbox because it didn't fit for everyone to see us far from safe. With all the package theft these guys certainly broadcast packages Show details

Is it possible for someone to collect someone's parcel by fastway depot?


This is the second time i have been screwed by this company, and not by choice, seller on ebay didnt list who the courier was so did not know. fair dinkum, takes forever to get parcels delivered.


What did Aramex bring to the merger/assimilation with FastWay?

Seems like it was just the name change and repainting the vans.

It should only have been assimilated by a courier company with up-to-date tracking notifications between driver and depot and website and customer, as the minimum for adding value.

Delivering stuff (using some commonsense) is also required.

"Consignment is being processed;Your parcel is currently being processed at a sortation facility. We’ll notify you with another update when it’s ready to be delivered"

Aramex FastWay are using a third party to do the initial collection and sorting, before it is forwarded onto the actual Aramex FastWay couriers. So when Aramex FastWay are quoting delivery times by themselves to their customers, they probably don't give this extra period of time in their data. There seems to be a LACK of transparency within this initial period of the logistics. Aramex FastWay actually claim to have NO idea of what and where the package is, they have NO tracking data.
The parcel could be completely lost.


Chopper, you sound like one of the brainless wombats that supposedly work for this rubbish company. Psychic powers perhaps thinking you know what a complete stranger has bought? Go back to your hole.

Absolutely NO customer service BUT I managed to gain a VIP number and after 4 calls a nice lady answered the call and was vey helpful after I told them I was to take contact with Amazon USA and AU

a complaint has been made to Amazon seeking NOT to use them as they are bad for any business

the only place for Fastway and the new coat of paint Amarex is the Federal Court of Australia for Prohibited Trades Practices penalties

best advice DO NOT USE THEM and if the company you are purchasing uses them find another seller who uses somebody else

and be careful when agitated asians who deliver come calling at your premises and abuse you which just happened to me today

this asian guy damaged my front gate with his car door , yes a car door and not a designated Fastway vehicle and then stated it was too hot to deliver / blamed the weather and it gets better he tells lies that he actually attempted to deliver and when. he was confronted that he was no where near the property and CCTV never captured him , his story again changed

the better this show is shut down and the executives held accountable for misleading and deceptive conduct and unconscionable conduct in a court of law
