I actually wanted a larger 600lt fridge but we couldn’t agree so settled on this and the volume for a family of 4 is fine. Very cold consistent temperature and the control is good with a nice clear digital display.
Love the 6 individual freezer drawers which I find are a lot more flexible than having a couple of big full width drawers even though it likely loses a little space. Frozen pizzas and pastry sheets fit easily flat so each drawer is a good size for stacking items.
One thing I thought would be great is the option for the right side of the freezer to be a fridge or a super chilled compartment for drinks and meat rather than a freezer but the reality is for a family you need that freezer space so only used it once before putting it to the freezer mode. But for a couple it’d be perfect for drinks.
Crisper bins are a good size and solid. The right one won’t open fully without the left door open also due to the flip out horizontal seal on that door but it’s not an issue and probably characteristic of most French door fridges.
Doors are solid and are easy to open and close and unlike other French door fridges I’ve seen the left door with the flip out vertical seal doesn’t sometimes jam when you close it last.
It’s quiet although the fan turns on a lot more than the old Westinghouse but it’s not noticeable.
Looks great and the finish is excellent and easy to clean with finger prints not an issue. Handles help of course and they match our kitchen cabinets which is nice.
Has app control via wi-fi but haven’t bothered with it.
RRP is around $2,999 which is reasonable but managed to get it in the Boxing Day sales from Bing Lee for $1,999 + delivery and for that price it’s very good value.
Our kids really wanted a water/ice dispenser but not being able to plumb it in I decided the refillable non plumbed ones take up too much fridge room and are too unreliable. The ice storage is a good size and I bought a 5lt water dispenser with a tap that fits well on the bottom shelf and they’re happy with that.
It's stop working within 4days!!!!! – The fridge stop working wihtin 4days since new. Ice melt into water , meat go from hard to soft, meat blood goes everywhere, Ice cream also melting ,. no frige no freezer at all for such an expensive product! F&P become less and less reliable, quality is not as good as before
Purchased in at Fisher & Paykel for $2,999.

Drawers that Work! – I tried sooooo many fridges before I bought this one. Who knew that “drawers that open properly” would be a feature worth noting. But the more fridges I opened the more I realised that fridges are designed by people that don’t cook and that don’t seem to know how drawers are supposed to work. How do these designs get to the production line without anyone questioning the drawers?!
Except Fisher and Paykel. The drawers open more than 10cm. They open all the way. They don’t fall off the runners. They don’t bang into the door and the door doesn’t stop them from opening all the way.
Who knew “drawers that work properly” would be such a Unicorn.
The lighting works well. The shelves are sturdy and easy to adjust. My only wish is that it had the meat drawer that came with their French Doors model, but I decided against the chest freezer so I had to miss out.
It did have a slight plasticy smell when it was first delivered. I left the fridge doors open overnight to air out and it was fine after that.
Plastic film was annoying to remove in some places. Some items were attached to the chassis of the fridge after the protective film was placed on the exterior, which resulted in the plastic film being caught under the air vent and thus not coming away cleanly.
Didn’t want to pay over $3k for a fridge, so waited for EOFY Sales and scored it for $900 less than its standard retail price.
Purchased in at Appliances Online for $2,850.
