How to you clean this washing machine?
as posted above i an trying to sort out a friends aquasmart washer model WL80T65C have ordered correct suspension rods and elastic straps [ genuine] and replaced them , machine is level , drum is centred , done a test wash with NO clothes and machine still stops on spin cycle and gives an out of balance message , machine does not vibrate , bang or move etc very quite it just stops when in spin cycle with an out of balance message . have done fac reset makes no differance , its bloody frustrating to say the least , fisher and paykel used to have a really solid name . not to sure any more about that
Ditto, cannot agree more did all above finnaly have decided to replace with different brand

With my aquasmart machine all of my washing comes out covered in lint. Not just a little bit. Virtually every item of clothing has lint "smeared" through it. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions? Thanks in anticipation.
Must I specially buy a dry detergent to run the clean cycle, or can I use my usual liquid, or perhaps baking soda, instead?
Nothing special needed. I use my normal liquid.

Yes I fixed it, I ended up having to replace the controller board.
I start machine then it starts beeping dlicate light,sheet light and high efficiency light show up and the spanner light dont know wat to do help

Going to try High Efficiency Mode, thinking less water.
Pressing High Efficiency button gives red light. Is that on or off?
Presume that is on and no red light is off?

Is the water pooling inside the bowl or under the machine? The high efficiency light illuminates when you power up the washing machine & to switch it off you press the button. Did running it in high efficiency stop the water pooling?
The machine fills with water but doesn't proceed any further. The flashing spanner comes on & the easy iron icon flashes as well. Tried to drain on the spin cycle but no go. Have switched it off at the wall etc but that hasn't fixed the issue.Does anyone know about the fault codes?
I found a forum online explaining how to workout the codes from the lit buttons(I have 8 buttons on my console) & what the fault was for each code. Going R to L, using a binary code but converting to no.s, from right is- 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 (note they double sequentially). I actually had 2 lit buttons & starting from the right- Easy Iron=2 & the most left button, Regular=128. Adding them together gave me a fault code=130 "control board found error in data pattern received from RPS(Rotor Position Sensor)". Ordered an RPS online from Axial Appliance Servicing NZ for $47 + freight, it came with installation instructions. Installed the part when it arrived & my washing machine is back in business!

Give away the machine for FREE for someone who don't mind annoying lint and soap streaks. or get your money back if it is still under warranty. It is the only way. I believe the product is now discontinued.
This machine is great for water and energy saving.
But they forgot to add a lint filter in the machine (oh, yes scientist do forget things that are too obvious to general public).
The company realised the problem too late. ie too many unhappy customers - me included :(
I have given away my machine to a needy person, indicated the issue with it.
The lack of a lint filter is a bit crap.
I note in my diary every 6-12 months to remove the drum, waterblast it and clean all the lint out of the bowl.

It takes hours. Unfortunately the only solution is to buy a proper washing machine. Anything except this piece of junk we all got ripped off with.
Mine takes about an hour PLUS the time for filling each wash/rinse cycle. If you are also stuck with water-wise filters on taps, this can be any time you like. My water restrictors are likely to receive a large hole in them.
How long does it take to go from A to B.
how fast does water come in, how fast does it drain, how bad is the suspension - the weaker, the longer it takes.

I bought myou aquasmsrt 2nd hand. The first load is taking FOREVER to wash. Am I doing something wrong? It seems to be repeating cycles but I'm not sure if it is supposed to.
if the machine goes 'out of balance' it will restart back to the beginning. Common problem with these machines easily fixed by replacing the suspension dampers & bowl bands ... lots of info in this thread to follow & see other people's success in fixing the same issue :-)
Set washer to regular press play, and it just make some electrical moaning then the lid unlocks then locks agian, dose this continuously for about 15 mins then spanner light comes on and beeps, never even fills with water or starts to spin, I checked the hoses and taps all fine, any ideas?
WOW ... that is a complex issue ! 'Electrical Moaning' ... LOL ... Never heard of that before :-) Have you tried using another cycle other than 'Regular' ? Try a 'System Re-set' back to factory settings which removes ALL USER customised settings.
Does the lid actually 'lock' and you cant open it before it clicks & 'unlocks' ?
I think if the lid is locking properly then I'd investigate if the water inlet solenoids are operating correctly & are not blocked with gunk ... as without water going into the machine ... not much else is going to happen ? Obviously the solenoids can only operated if 'told to do so' by the main control board based on the 'feedback' it gets from individual components. If an individual component is faulty / jammed, then the main control board can't 'talk to it' & control it ?
Possible faulty RPS or lid switch.

The service light (spanner icon) is flashing (LED model) 1 Turn your machine off at the wall. 2 Wait 1 minute and turn it back on. 3 Check your machine is level (refer to ‘Installation instructions’, page 5).
4 Remove load and retry.
5 Put through a RINSE and SPIN cycle
6 If the fault re-occurs repeat steps 1 and 2.
