perfect for a small family – bought it last year, so far does a very good job with no dramas at all. lt is quiet and quick, and it is very gentle and efficient to the fabrics too. it saves on the waters usage comparing to the front loader washing machines and it is very easy to use. enough for a small family of 3.  Show details

Always reliable – Cleans very well wit cold water on a longer cycle when you have stained clothes otherwise the fast cycle is fabulous for ordinary laundry when you are in a hurry. Does it job – Very easy and simple to use and it does it job at keeping my clothes clean but one issue is cleaning the filter... how? Only issue with mine is it refuses to wash with hot water which is an issue when i have to wash my dogs blanket. Would recommend but in a bigger size  Show details

still going and I just cannot fault it in anyway and I only wish other things I own would last this long. I really feel that Fisher & Paykel are such an awesome company and I would never ever consider purchasing any other brand going by my first experience with this purchase over 11 years ago. I never knew washing machines would even last this long but this one has been a gem.

Well worth this review and if 10 stars were available I would have chosen 10.

so simple menus, love it – there is absolutely nothing complicated about it. such simple menu options. competition has such complex overwhelming menus, u dont know what to do. Great washing machine – Washes really well and can be very quiet, to the point that I wonder if I had even turned the washing machine on. It's easy to use, just put the clothes in, push the buttons for how you want your clothes washed, how fast and how high the water level you want. Great product  Show details

Does a good wash efficiently – A good range of cycles though we mostly use regular. Gentle on clothes and quiet. Have had the machine for 10 years now and had no problems at all. Although it is a fairly water efficient machine we often reuse the rinse water for the next wash cycle which makes it even better. Would buy similar F&P machine again.  Show details

Wears polyester shorts out – When using the machine dries cloths on spin very well but polyester shorts need to be put in a under wear bog to keep safe and suits our family in size and it is rough on synthetics and towels always put it off balance which I find very annoying and dissapointed  Show details

Wash the sins away – Bought a new machine n its a little ripper. Small compact very quiet n lets me kn wen the job is all finished. Easy to use . Very solid wash. Would recommend if you need a new washing machine go out n buy one of these you wont regret it. I give it 5 stars  Show details

Was a great machine – after several years of trusty service (approx 10 yrs) 'i have since moved onto a front loader (which ill admit i now prefer ) but this top loader did an excellent job at cleaning my clothes and never missed a beat , really is a workhorse and holds quite alot , only negative i have found is it wore my clothes out faster than my front loader but sure that goes for all top load machines, if your in the market for a top load this one is great  Show details

Not Happy – I bought a washing machine for around NZ$500 around 4-5 years ago. It had problem 4 times and called the company to repair 3 times in 3 years of warranty period and 4th time just outside the warranty time and they come and repaired as I made some noise. FP washing machines #1 in design – This is my second F&P washing machine in 23 years. Solidly built and the best washing shaft drive in the world. The gearless direct drive is brilliant. No maintenance clean efficient and an excellent washing machine that leaves no lint, perfect washing every time. i have had a washer for years and still going strong – Always cleans very well.never had any damage to any garment it also is very quiet when on even on the spin cycle only hear it when it beeps on completion. Excellent washing machine – Well priced washing machine. Washes clothes very well. Various settings to choose from eg water level, wash times, spin speed etc. Very quite compared to my previous front loader machine. Most clothes don't need ironing. sent a email along with pictures and after a few weeks they finally decided to replace it... I took the machine back to place of purchase but the new machine hadn't arrived yet, I live in a rural area so it was a 130km round trip each time, the machine arrived and I again drove to the store picked it up and when I unpacked it it was smashed in at the back it actually looked like a car hit it, I contacted F&P and by this stage I was getting pretty angry as you would think they would of made sure everything was perfect seeing as it was a replacement, so I took it back again and by this stage I had travelled over 520km back and forth and no machine, I asked F&P to deliver the next machine and their reply was "our drivers don't go that far".... Now I was fuming because it was ok for me to drive all these km's, when I took the 2nd machine back I just got a refund and after several weeks F&P told me "quote".... We will give you a full refund and you can go purchase another brand machine.... This was from the customer service supervisor at F&P... So if you think customer service is important when buying a washing machine then totally avoid Fisher& Paykel otherwise all you will get is a huge headache

I can do without this – I purchased my third washing machine 12months ago and sorry to say very disappointed. It is not the same quality as it leaks and it seems to be much slower although it washes well. I would call it a lemon and I would not recommend it. My machine seems to be flimsy...completely different to my previous Fisher Paykel washing machines.

A Great washing Machine! – When you get a great product you are happy to use it...I LOVE my machine. It washes well and is very economical with water. Clothes come out clean with no soap residue. So happy I bought the smaller model for another property.

great washing machine – When I was living in Sydney we had a fisher and paykel washing machine and all the time I was living there in 4 years never had a problem / I trusted the electronic washing machine so much I used to leave it and walk to shops and back without any problems

This washer stains my wife & Sons uniforms – We've had ours for 4 years. Was good till the last 6 months when clothes started to show the following; There are faint stains in cloud like shapes a couple of inches in diameter on my sons grey uniforms and wifes nurse uniforms.
