3 Fitbit changed in 1 year
Although they have good customer service but Fitbit versa 2 is poor quality and break so easily , in 1 year I needed to change it 3 times . I think is to spend a bit more for a reliable watch

I received this from my daughter for my birthday 8 weeks ago. Terrible reaction to the band. Not happy that my daughter feels sick to the stomach over seeing the results.
Purchased in May 2021.
I got it for mothers day gift and in less than 20 days it started giving issues from syncing to not receiving message notifications to not giving complete sleep analysis. Each day , something new would stop working and after multiple troubleshooting steps, contacting customer service thru chat and call, I am still stuck with this piece of Junk ! It has not even been 1 month ! They will not help replace or refund and one just needs to keep making calls and talking to ride , disinterested customer service agents ! I don't have the time to waste and have given up ! Maybe that's what they hope to achieve out of treating customers like this ! Save yourself the bother and do not waste your money and time as I did.

Good for tracking sleep not much else.
The step counter is not accurate. I can be laying in bed and steps increase when I move. Only good things are sleep tracking and ability to use pay wave.

Not good for running. Battery does not last and to change the band a -10 SO SO BAD AND DIFFICULT TO CHANGE
My fitbit versa 2 ok but not good for running and workouts and the battery only lasted around 2 days. To change the band so terrible so hard to change . Never again

I received my Fitbit Versa 2 as a gift on Mothers Day 2020. Yesterday (24/3/21) I returned to to where it was purchased (a JB Hi Fi Store) and received a full refund.
The screen just started scrolling and went white with black lines, did what the instruction book said to reset and made no difference, so I took it back to the store. Looking online it appears this is a very common issue.
I was pretty disappointed as I quite liked it.
I was going to get a replacement until they said to me at the store that it was quite common for the Fitbit Versa 2's to be returned due to malfunctions so they were quite happy to issue a refund.
Waste of money, now I'm going to save up for an Apple watch, no more fitbit's for me.

Very Sad I wasted my money☹
I bought the versa 2 fitbit at Walmart in Hannibal,Mo on 9/1/20 for $161.44 with tax . I loved it at first till the button started working part of the time then just quit working. They wont replace it or back up the warranty. I just get a run a round. So disapointing. So I'm letting everybody know about my experience hopefully no one else gets ripped off☹

Can’t trust the calorie burnt figure
Calorie used figure is too high. Use 80% of what watch says as true figure. The zone minutes measure is faulty. I ride for an hour cycling and end up soaked in sweat and show abnormally low 4 zones. Sleep function is faulty. Tried different wrist. Tried pushing versa higher on forearm. Faulty sleep mode and overstating calories burnt seems to be a common problem.

versa 2 over heated
my Fitbit versa 2 was great till the last charge when i went to pick it up it burnt my fingers it was so hot now its dead I'm assuming it had a battery meltdown internally

No more wasting money on the Versa
I like the Versa, but the cost, unreliability and total lack of warranty support mean my next purchase will be from a competitor.
I just had my third one go south in less than 3 years. Like the first one, this one will not sync, which means it does not even have the correct time on it. The second one simply went dead.
Fitbit customer service is a joke. When you have a problem, the instructions on their website never work. You then have a long wait to get someone on the phone. Consistently, once you get someone they will waste about an ...hour of your time. They will not offer to repair or replace. You have to send the watch to them after which they will send you a voucher for 50% off a new Versa. Poor technology, no customer service, no standing behind their own product.

Aqua Aerobics setting ?
I am loving this fitbit versa 2, purchased December 2020, however my main fitness group is Aqua fitness (Aerobics), there is nothing in the list that matches this. I used the workout setting, but I am unsure of the accuracy of this.
Anyway it would be nice for an update to add in Aqua fitness.

Bought this watch to track my fitness and mainly because it was wanter proof to 50 mtrs...
Worked for just over 12 months... won't turn on or charge anymore so if you are thinking of buying this watch to use in water, think again.

Fantastic - but paid premium after purchasing a product???
First off, the watch itself is fantastic. Its a perfect entry level watch for anyone that doesn't want to pay the premium for Samsung gear or apple watches. My biggest grip with the aforementioned is the battery life. And the versa 2 absolutely smashes it, I get between 4-5 days use out of a single charge, exactly what I want out of a wearable. I think its silly to spend $400+ for a wearable that has to be taken off every single day to charge it.
It has all the features you ultimately need in a smart watch - notifications for messages and pho...ne calls, vibrating alarms, quick weather app and all the health fitness tracking goodness you could need, minus GPS. The screen isnt fantastic but thats fine, its a watch not a phone, as long as its legible then it doesnt really matter in my opinion. The bands are great, and whats really cool is fitbit provides both a small and a large band, Being smack bang in the middle this means I have two bands to use before I need to purchase another one. The downside is the build quality seems iffy, a hole for the buckle already has a crack in it and whats worse is its a hole I have never used. Keeping in mind I have owned this watch for about 2 weeks now, it seems a bit quick to start deteriorating already. The way the bands click in is a bit weird and feels a touch flimsy so if you are a fan of changing out bands this may be an issue for you, but after the first install I havent taken them off and it hasnt been an issue. The spotify app only works as a remote control, which for me is perfectly fine, but others have been disappointed you cant go through and choose songs. As I have said from the get go, this watch really brings it back to earth, I am not into watches that can do everything a phone can do, its a watch, I want a watch with a few extra features like notifications so I dont miss when someone calls me and my phone is facing down on my desk or in my pocket where I cant feel the vibration. Lastly this watch does have a contactless payment feature, however I have not used it, being another third party I am not sure how their practices are as far as storing credit card details so I think I will old off for now. Now for the big fat steaming pile of crap that Fitbit has dumped on top of this product. Something that not only confuses me but also downright annoys me off. A premium, subscription service. The last thing any person wants to do after spending $200+ on a product, is have to pay for a subscription fee on top of that, absolutely bonkers. Now I will say that you dont really need it especially if you arent interested in the fitness side of things but it is just straight out frustrating to spend $250 on a product that doesn't get the full offering from the company. What is even more insulting is you get a basic 30 day trial. If fitbit really wants to play it this way, they should at bare minimum provide 6 months free for entry level products and 12-24 months free for the premium Versa or Sense watch lines. Until this changes Its only getting 3 stars from me, the subscription service annoys me off that much I am taking 2 stars off because aside from that, its a damn near perfect entry level smart watch with all the features you need and none of the extras you dont need.

Fitbit versa2. Sleek design. Useful to me.
I give it a 7 or 3 1/2 star.
What I do like: It is a good looking watch to me. I wear it everyday and growing to like its usefulness. I track my steps ( not 100% sure if it is accurately counting though as one day we drove to Sydney and it congratulated me with 10k steps duh..). I use the heart rate monitor, look at the statistics they send you 1xpw, use the msg fwd on the app, paywave and Alexa. I am no fitness super hero and haven't used the different programs that are available as most of the features require you to pay for premium members...

Love this watch
Found it a bit funny at first. Had to go to premium ,to get it to work ,very well ,think it’s a bit of a bummer to pay $14.99 a month ,anyway it’s free for 3 months ,but I think it’s worth it .Spotify music is great .
