language, which I really appreciated. He listened, was patient with every question and concern, and showed genuine care throughout the process. One thing that really stood out was how much he did that he didn’t have to do. Thane took extra steps to help me — not because it was required, but because he clearly cares about doing things properly and supporting his customers. That kind of integrity is rare. He was also extremely tidy and respectful of the space, taking clear pride in the quality of his work. It’s worth noting that this was an expensive job — Fix it Right Plumbing isn’t a budget option. But if you're after someone who does things thoroughly, honestly, and with genuine care, Thane is someone you can trust. He’s a real asset to the company, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

experience with Joseph. After inspecting our house thoroughly and then taking the time to explain everything to us - making sure to answer all our questions so we would know exactly what he would be doing with peace of mind - Corey was straight into action. We called Fix-It Right Plumbing mainly to fix our leaking shower - which Corey did with no probs - but he also had the initiative to suggest that we replace our broken toilet which we did not know had also been leaking; surprisingly he had a ready made replacement in his van - minus the toilet pan which did not need to be replaced. We believe this is a great option to save time and money under the right circumstances i.e. having an immediate solution that you are guaranteed will fit rather than having to source an entirely new model yourself and hoping it fits. It probably took Corey around half an hour to refurbish the toilet suite while he finished fixing the shower leak and some other minor replacement jobs.

Like I said in my other review, Fix-It Right Plumbing should be your go-to-plumbers. They are straightforward and reliable and they also care to build positive rapport with their customers. It is evident they want to set higher standards for the industry because I can say the same thing about their customer service staff - they must be a well managed business with a strong culture given the consistency in their processes and performance in their reviews across the board. I should also mention that Corey had cleaned up very thoroughly after job completion just as Joseph our first plumber did - there was no mess left behind.

Charged $500 to turn off a tap and change a washing machine hose- ended up being a roof leak – Cost a lot of than I would have expected for a couple of hoses to be replaced- over $500. I only had one bathroom (the ensuite) had water gather on the floor a couple of times but when they came they looked around the whole house and in main bathroom which is not connected and found more hoses that needed fixing. do the work in case of a pipe burst which they mentioned could happen. Because of the exorbitant cost I stupidly chose the membership to take a 15% off but realised I don’t want to use them again. The admin person said she can’t help at all when I asked about the mixer they replaced without me knowing and wondering if I could have at least had a choice in what was used. This was all in the main bathroom that didn’t have the water on the floor so I am not even sure why they were in there.

Update: The plumbing supervisor called back and was understanding of my concerns. He said the process the company uses is to look at all the house plumbing while there. If I had known that ahead I could have made good use of the service to get quotes of various jobs I had put off calling a plumber in to do do. Not knowing that though, it was a little invasive of my privacy looking around my house without asking and an unexpected expensive bill. I had made the dumb on the spot decision to sign up to a membership to help reduce the cost of the expensive bill by 15%.

However, the supervisor was open to reimbursing the membership cost I paid which will allow me to not feel locked in to using this same company and instead get competitive quotes for future work. However, he did say I needed to take this review down to get the reimbursement which I didn’t think fair consumer law-wise but he had also offered the reimbursement before the review was published so I am happy to do so. I can’t see how to take it down but I could see how to update it.

If the company truly takes on my feedback to separate the cost of the job they were called in to do from potential other plumbing work around the house and they give you a moment to think before committing to having the new jobs done without the scare of being told your pipes might burst if you don’t get it done, I would potentially use them again.

I think they are a genuine company with a genuine sounding supervisor who maybe be inadvertently using what looks like dodgy business tactics to get more work when they are probably coming from a good place if only they explained it all upfront when you make the original booking. Then you might think this sounds like a good service I can make good use of if given a little thinking time about what else needs doing around the house.

Booked to have our water fixed(no water) was booked between 10am-4pm,had to chase them,only to be told the plumber assigned could not make it,then to be told could not get to us until next week! Xmas day is just about upon us!Do not use this lot they simply do not care.

Got another plumber in to have a look, issue was a lock on the gas meter which he quickly resolved, ignited the pilot light and the main burner fired up and later that day had a perfectly working hot water system, $100. The Fix It Right Low callout fee is a scam to gouge you when onsite. Wouldn't an experienced plumber maybe just check the gas meter was working when he could see you were just moving in?

One of the jobs on my property was to install a pressure reduction valve at the water meter. Retail cots of the part at Reece is $80 (incl. gst) Half hour job to install. The simplest of tasks. Fix-It-Right price - $535.

pipe over the gutter on the workshop attached to the rear of the garage (thereby making cleaning the gutter extremely difficult), I requested relocation of the pipework. That was refused by FIR. Not the easiest of tasks, but feasible, and a better outcome for me the customer.

I was left with the only option from Fix-It Right for replacement of all the existing pipe system, with an identically located new system. Inclusion of a Deks fitting allows for marginal movement of the pipe. Retail cost of pipe and fitting – about $100. Work-time - about two and a half hours work.

Fix-It Right job price - $2244

Complete scam pricing. Simple job to fix a toilet seal. Usually costs around $200. Quoted $600 just to take the toilet off. Also kept trying to find other work so they could scam me further. Would never hire. You will be paying at least 3 times more then it is worth.

Service - fine, Price - Outrageous – Job was booked quickly & efficiently. They attempted to cancel last minute. Price quoted to replace a kitchen tap supplied by us - $465. Don't be fooled by the "we don't charge for travel etc" line, you pay above & beyond that

Excellent service Fast and Reliable – We called Fixit Plumbing as we had a gas leak. I had tried a number of plumbers in our area and none could come out. Fixit plumbing not only came out but fixed a couple of other issues we had while they were here. Jarryd was awesome! He let us know the price at every step.
