What is most frustrating is that Flight Network does not seem to actively coordinate with the airline in a way that helps resolve the issue. Instead, as a customer, I feel caught between the agency and the airline, with neither side taking responsibility.
Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend booking directly with the airline whenever possible. In my case, Flight Network has not added value as a service provider. On the contrary, using a third-party intermediary has made the refund process slower, more confusing, and more stressful.
For this reason, I would personally avoid using Flight Network again and would advise others to think carefully before booking flights through third-party platforms rather than directly with the airline.

For more than 6 months they have been wasting my time, pushing me back and forth between the airline and their support team. The airline says the money was refunded, while Flight Network keeps avoiding responsibility and refuses to help properly.
And today I received another email from Flight Network saying:
“We are unable to assist with your cancellation request because we are unable to access your reservation anymore… Please contact Wizz Airlines.”
This is unbelievable. After taking customers’ money, they simply close the conversation and tell customers to deal with the airline themselves.
This feels like theft. They took my money and left my family struggling without any real support or solution.
Customer service is extremely poor, communication is terrible, and nobody takes responsibility. I would strongly advise everyone:
NEVER trust Flight Network. Be very careful before booking with them. In my experience, this company is a complete scam.

booking reference (PNR), which means the ticket cannot be verified directly with the airline. Naturally, this makes you question whether your booking is actually confirmed.
Even worse, when you try to access “My Bookings” on their website, it only shows an error page, so you cannot view or manage your reservation at all. There is no transparency and no proper way to confirm your ticket online. You are basically told that you can only verify everything at the airport — which is unacceptable for an online travel agency.
This creates unnecessary stress and uncertainty for travellers. I do not recommend FlightNetwork at all. If they had been transparent about this limitation, I would have booked elsewhere immediately.
Save yourself the anxiety and book directly with the airline or a reliable provider instead.

JetStar to have change made, JetStar said it could only be made by Flight Network and it just kept going backwords and forwards. At one stage we had JetStar on one phone and Flight Network on another phone talking to each other with both saying that the other person had to fix the situation. No Manager or person further up the chain of responsibility would talk to us. The only option we had was to cancell the flight to Japan with Flight Network and lose our complete payment and re-book with JetStar costing us a further $1996.00. Don't go anywhere near Flight Network, they are the most unhelpful company that I have ever dealt with.
Follow-up · Tried talking to both Flight Network and JetStar, no response from either. No refund received. We had to purchase another ticket so the exercise cost $1990 more than the original price. Avoid Flight Network at all costs, may seem cheaper initially but could cost you a lot more in the long run.

The other ticket still no refund, waiting now for over one week, calling them for a third time, getting inconsistent and conflicting answers. According to the refund status on their website It appears they haven't even submitted to the airline!
Follow-up · After many phone calls and online enquiries I did receive the refund, less by some $200 or so overall. My refund request had not been submitted to Qatar airlines for some time, the explanations varied, one of the latest explanations was that they were busy with many cancellations. me for seat selection when that particular airline does not charge for it for that flight. So I skipped their $320 seat and meal selection, purchased the tickets, got the booking ref, then went on the airline website and chose the meal and seats for no extra charge. Win!
Also like with all online booking systems, for flights especially, you really need to make sure you have selected the correct flight, dates, and entered the exact names and DOB as on passport. I have seen too many cases were people make a small error which ends up being a very very costly mistake. Sometimes more than the flight ticket itself. If your not good with computers, or not good at double checking your entered information, then don't buy from here. Call a flight agent or Airline to book your ticket.
Remember, buying an airline ticket online is similar to like signing a contract of your soul to the devil. Just check everything before you make that payment.
Once you become a regular, you realise one or more of the following: 1) Saving are not worth it and better to buy from airline direct. 95% of the population 2) OR; Savings are worth it as long as you spend the extra time checking all the details you have entered and knowing what addons you need/don't need.
Remember: Get insurance from another provider. Understand what Flexible tickets really mean. For some it may be worth it but don't make the mistake thinking you can still change it for free. The new flight you want to pick might cost a lot more and you have to pay the difference. Addons and other Extra's are almost always overpriced and useless Sometimes buying direct from airline ends up being cheaper. Be decisive with your dates for best savings.

of the four days of the period of travel with long layovers. Absolutely ridiculous and almost surreal. I could not change it once it had been been made even when I offered to pay a fare difference - their response was so slow I could then not get a refund either, despite trying many times to call them. Do not use this service!! In the end, I disputed the charge, and the credit card company refused a refund on the basis that I accepted the merchant terms and conditions. However, I never accepted the itinerary that had been sent to me, and in the end, my bank was able to refund me 50% of the lost amount purely on compassionate grounds. They seemed to accept that the service and the process was abominable. I could refer this to Australian consumer law, but simply can’t be bothered. I’ve had enough stress and I’ve decided simply to recommend to others to not ever use the service. They are THE WORST.

extras kept getting added. Baggage service $11.62, Checked 23kg bag $64.99, seat reservation $52, upgrade to get compensation for flight delay $76.57 = $401.30. I booked thinking Virgin was making up for fuel costs. But the email confirmation was Flight network, not Virgin. Reviews were shocking and explained a risk of flight change, which I couldn't manage, so I cancelled it on the same day. They advised me that Virgin was going to send refund, but only of $313.11. They get to keep $88.19. Cancellation email stated "We have just processed your refund from Virgin Australia. It will arrive in your account in a few days. The processing time depends on your payment provider or bank. For any further questions, please contact your bank." I rebooked with Virgin and the same flight is selling for $129. Update: Refund was credited to my Paypal account about a week later, but short of the $88.19 I paid for compensation for delay service, and baggage service that I did not get.
Wouldn't honor a cooling off period or refund a flight booked incorrectly by an elderly person. Highly inflated prices and poor service. Do not use, they are nothing more than scammers.

For my return flight, I again tried multiple times to resolve the issue. I was told I would need to pay an additional fee to select seats, despite already having paid for this service. Due to the urgency and lack of support, I had to go directly to China Southern Airlines and pay again out of pocket just to secure a reasonable seat.
In the end, I paid twice for the same service — once to FlightNetwork and once to the airline — and FlightNetwork has refused to refund me.
This experience showed a lack of accountability, poor customer support, and failure to deliver a paid service. I would strongly recommend booking directly with airlines to avoid similar issues.

This company is a scam - they built a website to look like an airline which receives through traffic from flight planning websites. In reality all they are doing is booking the flight and adding a hefty fee on top so you pay more and have less flexibility. Do not use this website, book direct for less money!
