You get what you pay for. We moved services from Aussie Broadband and two months later we are going right back with them again. Flip may be cheaper but their service was constantly slower and cut out every second hour and then two months in the internet just was not working at all. kept treating me as if i was some dottled OAP that had never used a router before. He kept saying it must be hardware after 45 minutes. Try another device. By the time he had asked me to try the 5th device I had had enough and told them to terminate the service and went back to Aussie Broadband who had the service up and running within an hour with no issues at all. We’ve been with Flip for a few years and always had a great experience with them - internet was always reliable with good communication about any interruptions to the network. Customer Service has always been straightforward and helpful when I’ve had any issues to deal with. Price was good too. I've been using FlipTV NBN 50Mb/s FTTN for 7 years, and it's been cheap and stable (can recommend). friendly 11-minute phone call, including waiting on hold. Both the tech and sales people were knowledgeable and helpful. The price is great, and they've arranged for the NBN people to come and connect the fibre to my property. Given we all wind up on NBN, the difference between providers is price and quality of service. FlipTV prices are competitive, and their service has been excellent. I thoroughly recommend them!

I was very frustrated as I had a new modem and couldn't make it connect to the NBN HFC box on my wall. I have connected NBN fibre modems previously without difficulty. same day I received cancellation notice and bill credit from my old ISP - all triggered by Flip without my involvement. Very impressed with the straight forward signup and start up, as well as the performance so far.

to avoid any fault of their terrible service) does not run at the speed they say it will either, also went to cancel today, no they do not give pro rata credit for cancellation and instead want 30 days notice for a service they can't provide! you guessed it can't do it online only Monday to Friday via phone but good luck getting support when they can't offer the service. Changed to starlink we would be luckily to get 60 MBS best would be 80 MBS (if it's actually working) Ive just ran the speed test on it as per photo attached. Pay flip for $90 a month, only paying $80 and already on 302 MBS with starlink.

exhaustingly long recording of options. I was informed there were 5 calls in line before me, so I opted to be called back. Within 5 minutes, I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Wasif. He was polite, kind, calm and easy to understand, which was a pleasant change from Dodo. And he told me my WiFi, which I signed up for last night (a Sunday) was all set up; that there was nothing further I needed to do! It was that simple! He told me I have a 2 week grace period to see if I like the Flip service, and if not, I can cancel with nothing to pay. I assured him that won't happen. Thank you so much, Wasif, you were so lovely to talk to. And thank you Flip. I'll be recommending you to all my friends and family. It only takes a moment to be kind and keep a customer (like Wasif), or a moment to be rude and lose one (like other companies' customer service representitives)

It appeared that I was not receiving the full 500 mbps downloads when doing speed testing on my wifi connected devices. Flip staff immediately sorted out my modem, a Telstra LH 1000, and migrated all my devices to the 5G band. However we were still not getting 500mbps on the wifi divices. with Ethernet connections but to know what speeds they were getting was impossible. It didn’t help that my computer and iPad didn’t have an Ethernet port.

During this time Flip staff were outstanding, supportive, understanding and knowledgeable.

In the end I purchased a usb to rj45 adapter. Lo and behold I was getting over 500mbps at both the router and the Telstra modem. Following further analysis and discussion with Flip staff I was advised that given the number of wireless devices on my network I didn’t have to worry about purchasing a newer modem as mine was doing a great job. Good news as there was $200 I didn’t need to spend.

In conclusion I can always say that I have never regretted switching to Flip.

Rang Flip 3 times to get internet connection, everytime i rang at different times i was ALWAYS 5th in line. Requested a call back , was advised that a customer consultant would ring me back in 15 minutes. Have now waited for over an hour and a half, and still no contact. If this is the service you get, then what help can you get if there is a problem. Have now contacted a different provider, quick response and joined within 10 minutes. Show details

has been “withdrawn” due to not meeting a certain credit assessment, this leads me to believe they have done a credit check without my consent.

Aside from this, I have already cancelled with my current provider, due to the misleading information provided, I will be taking this as far as possible.
