Atrocious, diabolical, uncontactable - my rating: < 0 stars – I purchased 5 tickets prior to COVID. Flights were cancelled. $3,500 worth Over the next 4 years I have spent countless hours (well over 80) attempting to get a refund. Good at times stressful during Covid times – It's ok sometimes you don't know whether the company is legitimate or not. The hardest part was communicating with Flyfar as they did most communicating via email and don't have a physical store. refund – after 3 years we received our refund. We got $9970.80 out of the $10,280 we paid for 2 business class return to Europe. They had our money for 3 years getting interest and still they short changed us! We had to spend many hours on hold many times only to get disconnected to an Indian call centre. mine, so evertime, I just receive a generic reply that my the are having a delay due to current situation?

I do not believe this company exists anymore.

They still owe me and other people a lot of money. It is totally unfair, and these types of people should be excluded from operating in the flight ✈️ booking.

I do not know where to go , or what to do other than emailing them and wait ???

STAY AWAY and save your money and time.

They steal your money! – Read the fare change documents really well. The states changed their border rules due to covid. We had to cancel our holiday out of our control. They then attached all of these rebooking fees that made the flight credits completely redundant. Will never use them again. The only way they offer discounted flights is through profiting off taking your money on the other side

no-reply account) about my refund process. Within 2 days, they processed my refund request, and then after 2 days I got the money back to my account. Please note that, this review is only for the refund process. I lost my hope when I read the review about the poor refund process. I thought I am not going to get my money back from Flyfar. However, I just followed the process available in their official website and got the best response during this unprecedented time.

Reason for not giving 5 star: My flight provider (Jetstar Airlines) cancelled the flights and then I requested for a refund. They processed my refund within a day. Then I waited for more than a month to get the money (as the standard SLA was 14 business days). I was under the impression that once Jetstar will process my refund, I will get my money. However, Flyfar got the money on behalf of me and then didn't process my refund. I had to contact them to get the money. It should be an automated process.

happened, and we had to ask back our money. Flyfar said they needed 90 days. Sounds a lot, but be realistic, they were in big trouble. Anyway, as i read the reviews, i do not expect, that i will get my money. and in the 86th days, the money arrived.

it had not and, reassured, once again, someone would get back to me within 24 hours....I was assured that should the 18th come along, I would be ok. Moving on, I was away for the weekend - that is by the by as I still had phone reception - no call from Flyfar, as they said, on the 17th September, no communication whatsoever from them. I call on the 20th September to see what is happening with my booking. I get told, you were called on 17th September &, your credit has expired now. Um, no I was not and, I did not receive a text message/email either, as the consultant stated. Nothing from FLYFAR AT ALL!!! I wanted to speak to his Manager/Supervisor, "no Mam, there is no one available", on countless occasions, when speaking with this mob. I have, as you can appreciate, been frustrated with the lack of service, concern, basically anything resembling empathy, from them and, genuine assistance from the word go. DO NOT EVER BOOK WITH THIS LOT, NO MATTER HOW CHEAP IT IS. CHEAP IS WHAT YOU GET, NOTHING. YOU MAY NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK OR, BE ABLE TO REBOOK. DODGY AS DODGY CAN GET. calls, they were “able” to “rebook” my tickets for January 2023 and I had to pay ON TOP a $350 price difference.

It’s been one month now and I still haven’t received my itinerary for these new tickets.

The $350 has left my bank account but when I ask them to search for my new booking they say that my name isn’t associated with any new booking.

These thieves are trying to win some time until my voucher finally expires on the 12th October so then they will be able to say “sorry your voucher has expire”.

I am disheartened and have no idea what to do. These flights were for my family to go back home so my baby could spend time with his grandparents. Paying for the first tickets was a big financial sacrifice and I won’t be able to buy new tickets anytime soon...

We all need to make a complaint to ACCC. I also contacted someone who is gathering customers from flyfar to start a legal action against them. You can email him at takeflyfardown (not able to write the whole email adress but you just need to add @ g mail.com)

Can’t get what rightfully yours – I booked a flight with cancellation guarantee (that gives 90% of the value as a voucher if you cancel). I canceled the flight and I was issued a voucher only after 3 months. The voucher didn’t even work even after a month of them telling me “it will be foxed today or maximum tomorrow”. Show details

before 31/12/2021 !!! Finally they said they would apply for refund. Many emails later suddenly told my case closed. Emailed again and then told they were trying to get my refund. Now no answer at all to any correspondence. I am absolutely furious and have contacted ACCC and now taking this matter to VCAT as refuse to be treated so badly. This company is fraudulent and I think they are crooks and need to be brought to bear.

that savings for booking thru them are worth it: 1. Contacting them is not easy. If you decide to call expect waiting time between 1 to 3 hours - I had to place my mobile on loud speaker for almost half day while waiting for them to answer. 2. Everything is scripted and you can't speak sense to them. 3. Contacting them via web form - expect a response in a week time.

I was the lucky one. The airline accepted full refund as they can't provide service for tickets they have sold. However, Flyfar held the refund for ransom until I pay their handling fee $55. Long story short - I'm reporting them to ACCC. Again, risks and hassle not worth booking thru them.

advised by FlyFar to cancel my ticket instead of rebooking it for another date. They told me that they will send a refund request to Qantas. Nothing happened for over 6 months. At the end of the sixth month the FlyFar website displayed a message that my Refund Request was rejected by Qantas. I called FlyFar to check what was the reason for the rejection. They gave me no answer and told me that they can’t do anything for me - no refund, no credit, no rebooking - I have to accept a $750 loss. I called Qantas, they couldn’t help me, told me to call Qantas Agency Connect, they told me that they only deal with Travel Agencies and couldn’t help me. Called Qantas again, they told me to call FlyFar because I booked through them. Called FlyFar, they told me that I canceled my ticket and they can’t do anything for me. I am sick of being lied to by FlyFar. They openly lie when they tell customer that they can’t do anything and push customer to deal with the airline directly. I will never book my flights with them again. Qantas told me that they never received my money and that FlyFar still has my money. Pure theft by FlyFar. Stay away from them!

my flights in the last 2 days (or/and in the next 2 days) will result in my loss of more than $1,000 in open tickets. Therefore I request Flyfar to EITHER resolve system ticketing issues internally and confirm my rebooking regardless of open ticket expiry date, OR compensate me on any loss of open ticket values post expiry date.

Explicitly, I called Flyfar on 27th and 29th Dec 2021 to rebook my flights on the above open ticket. Customer service representatives on both calls were not able to check ticket prices in Flyfar's system due to system errors which have lasted for at least 48 hours. As a result, they were not able to help me rebook my flights. They have both forwarded my requests to the support team. I have not received a call back or any further information from the support team for more than 48 hours. My tickets will expire in the next 48 hours. I am not getting any support from Flyfar despite long waits on calls.

flight and all I am getting is excuses such as the Covid policy is not clear. How can a travel agent tell me their own Covid policy is not clear and that he needs 24h to get back to speak to a colleague. I have been put on hold while on a call for over an hour with no response. My partner tried to call and they hung up, someone also hung up on me.

This feels like such a scam, they have no intention of trying to resolve the issue which is not caused by the customer.

I will be taking this NSW fair trading and hope my bank can investigate a refund.

around three weeks that my refund has been escalated to this ‘department’ and at present I still have yet to receive my monies. After calling and asking to speak the manager they then told me that I would have to wait an additional 24-48 hours to speak to the manager. The manager called within two days only to tell me that they were charging me $30 cancellation fee to refund me my monies to me and that I would have to wait an additional 1 week for the refund. After going back and forth with the manager he then proceeded to hang up on me without giving me confirmed time as to when I will get my monies back. At present, the problem is still not resolved and I still have not received my refund.
