If I could rate 0 stars I would. Scam of a business. I bought I pair of Birkenstocks at the start of the month and received no tracking and only 1 generic customer service email. Lodged numerous complaints but received nothing not until I lodged a complaint with my bank and finally got a refund. Very very disappointed in the people behind this. DO NOT buy from this store! I wish I had done more research before:(

‘Great, I just threw my money into the void.’ I even told my wife, ‘This is why I stick with what I know.’ But then, out of nowhere, the shoes showed up. And you know what? They’re actually incredible.

I decided to call and tell them about my frustration with the tracking. I didn’t even expect a response, let alone what happened next. I ended up speaking with this guy named Liam (or maybe it was Leon? Bad with names), who understoof me.. He didn’t make excuses. He just said, ‘We dropped the ball on that, and I’m really sorry.’

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting such a genuine response. We talked for like 10 minutes about how they’re trying to grow without sacrificing quality, and I actually felt bad for being annoyed in the first place. The shoes are top-tier—my wife keeps saying they make me look ‘put together,’ whatever that means—and I’ve already recommended them to a friend.

4 stars because of the tracking hiccup, but if they tighten that up? They’d easily get 5. I’ll definitely be back for another pair

made the right decision ordering online.

To ease my doubts, I contacted the store directly to confirm everything, and thankfully, they assured me they were legit and their products were genuine. That gave me some peace of mind because, let’s be honest, I paid $279 for these shoes...they aren’t cheap, and I wanted to make sure they were the real deal.

UPDATE: product is authentic. Fingers crossed they live up to the price tag! will update in a few months

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. This company is truly diabolical. Order placed Dec 2024 constant delay tactics for over 2 months. thing but with all the other reviews it’s impossible to know. I want to return these for a refund out of spite but have also read other reviews that said that process was also drawn out. Disgusting that a business in Australia can operate like this. Will be reporting to the ACCC as well

Repeated e-mails to Foot Haven requesting the order be cancelled and a refund issued, finally had them reply and 'apologise' giving the reason they were out of stock and they would dispatch them as soon as possible. Again, more e-mails from me insisting on a cancellation and refund, finally issued a response that the shoes had been despatched. This was now mid January this year. Again an angry e-mail from me insisting the shoes be returned and a refund issued, and more silence from Foot Haven. The shoes arrived which were not the ones ordered anyway. It is now 28 January. More angry e-mails to Foot Haven requesting a return and refund and finally a response, and half hearted apology, to say a return label was to be issued and when the shoes were received back an immediate refund would be forthcoming. AusPost shows Foot Haven received the shoes on 31 January and here we are nearly one month later and still no refund. Not only do Foot Haven have the shoes, they also have our money! I have taken this up with PayPal and quite frankly they are just as useless as Foot Haven. I have also lodged this with Fair Trading, who are now investigating but unfortunately that could take another month. Watch This Space!

returned the shoes and am now told that they won't refund and that I need to go to my bank to recoup the money. So they have taken 3 months of my time, sent fake shoes, had me return fake shoes and then refused the refund.

They use very frustrating delay tactics. They take a long time to reply to an email and then when they do they say they are very sorry and they are trying to resolve the issue.

It's been nearly 3 month of back and forth. My son didn't get his birthday shoes, and we are $269 out of pocket and have spent so much time chasing them.

Please don't buy from this company and if you have already, please report to ACCC so they can't keep ripping people off.

still waiting!! No communication or support from FH at all - no-one answers the phone, emails or online chat - nothing. So I went through PayPal to get some action (so glad I paid thru PayPal, I highly recommend you do). And guess what, the day before the deadline for Foot Haven to respond to the claim and refund me $330, they provided a tracking number! This just shows they were holding out for as long as they could, and it was only because I made a claim for a refund thru PayPal that I got any action. The shoes arrived 2 days later (5 weeks after placing the order), and even the Aust Post label said 'rise.ai updated the order due to a refund'. The only upside is that the shoes appear to be genuine Birkenstocks, I was worried they might be fakes after reading other reviews. The whole thing was a terrible experience, shocking service (no service at all) and spoiled our Christmas. I do not trust this business and will never buy from Foot Haven again, and will share my appalling experience as a warning to others.

Shoddy company – I ordered a pair of Birkenstocks on the 21 Dec. I realise it's the Christmas period but I emailed them on 27 Dec to at least get a tracking no. which was not supplied when I placed the order. It's now the 11 Jan and I have heard absolutely nothing back. I have started a Paypal dispute to get a refund. Is this company even legit?

Received two emails letting me know that they are sorry but cant supply before Xmas but have free delivery...then another generic one thanking for understanding - which I do not!! Dishonest business, scam – Ordered Birkenstocks on Dec 3. A staff member named guaranteed that they would arrive before Christmas and should they not I would be issued a full refund. They did not arrive before Christmas and I have tried to reach out 3 times however I am yet to receive a response.

Foothaven shoes scam website – SCAM WEBITE!! BUYERS BEWARE I ordered a pair of Birkenstocks 1st Dec and it’s now the 5th Jan & still haven’t received the item. I have emailed asking for a tracking number and did not get one. I’ve asked for a refund now, and no reply either. They take ur money and don’t send the order. Very disappointing and dishonest.

Birkenstocks- apparently this is a very big business all around the world. Do your research, everyone!!!

I looked at all details of the sandals received from Foot Haven as well as the labels on the box - took photos, videos, etc. I then went to a local shoe store where they sell authentic Birkenstocks and compared. The Foot Haven shoes are FAKE. Misspellings on the box labels, misspellings on the notecard inserted into the box, the sole is different, the quality of materials such as the suede and cork are inferior. These are good fakes, but nonetheless they are NOT AUTHENTIC.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!

I have reported to my bank.

I hope these people get caught by the authorities. This is appalling.

Ordered Birkenstocks 3/12 and never received. Have emailed to ask the whereabouts on 31/12. No response. Order number #3007. At this point I just want a response and if I just need to cancel the order for a refund if there’s no chance of receiving it. So incredibly disappointed.

can’t cancel and they were on the way. She gave me a tracking number and assured me I could get a refund once they arrived if need be. Tracking number didn’t work on aust post so my son tried it on T17.com and we found it had been shipped from china, here was the first red flag… ummm their business address says Surry hills why was it coming from china?? I have since tried emailing 3 times with no response and the tracking shows it as being delivered to destination Brisbane. Great! But I don’t live in Brisbane so they certainly weren’t delivered to me. I’m genuinely surprised that a .com.au website that looks very legit can be scamming people like this. How are they still operating. I’ll be making a complaint to the correct regulatory body and try to get these guys shut down. I have a very large amount of contempt for scammers!!! Especially at Xmas time, these were presents for many people, shame on you Foothaven.
