Absolutely useless – I'm writing this review for my mum. She spent 3 weeks waiting for Foxtel to confirm the status of her NBN connection before they would set up an account for her. She called back every week to be told it would take another week. No alternative was offered, no-one suggested an explanation as to why it was taking so long. Mum needed internet sorted… Read more

before moving houses and was strung along with empty promises for far too long. In comparison she got her NBN connection identified and a broadband account set up with TPG within an hour of calling them after my recommendation. Absolutely useless experience with Foxtel. Don't waste your time with them

Works for us – We signed up a couple of months ago for ADSL 2 when we decided to change providers and Foxtel was our number one choice because we already were with them for TV. We had a few hiccups initially but then everything settled and we are enjoying their service and are quite happy with the connection, would recommend it for ADSL.  Show details

Constant speed and reliable service – We added ADSL from Foxtel to our entertainment bundle after watching all the ads about how great Foxtel ADLS is. Initially, we had a very slow speed and contacted technical support about it, they checked the phone line and after a few days have found a fault. After it was resolved our internet speed is constant.  Show details

Consistently crap – Been with Foxtel Broadband for nearly 5 years. Only went with them because Telstra was the only company to service our area at the time and Foxtel bundled for us. So this complaint is about both Telstra's arrogance in consistently providing crap quality service, and Foxtel for being sheepish and spineless by not calling them out. We have spent… Read more

the last five years having ridiculously slow speed. Next to no upload speeds. We use our mobiles 4G as hotspots! On numerous occasions I have used my phone as a hotspot just so I can complete uni assignments and even take online exams! There are days we have no service or so slow that it isn't worth bothering. Thousands of dollars spent on low quality internet service. Every time we ring to complain they try and smooth it over with channel packages or increasing our data limits. We barely even watch Foxtel and what's the point of more data when we cannot even use what we have because it is too slow? We don't want extra channels. We want to be able to rely on our home broadband service.

Absolutely Shocking. So terribly bad – What a joke. Constantly dropping out, the absolute worst internet service imaginable. Please save your time and money and don’t use this garbage ‘service’. I would give them 0 stars is possible. Horrible HORRIBLE. Show details

RUBBISH – Don’t even think about getting FOXTEL broadband. I decided to go with them to save money because I already had Foxtel on my tv. Worst decision I ever made. The modem is rubbish - the signal is rubbish. Every time I turn the tv on I have to reconnect my iQ3 to the internet. Sometimes it won’t even connect. Download speeds are pitiful. They old me… Read more

it was my iQ3 box that was the problem and sent me a new one Even though I told them that I never had any problems with my Telstra modem. I am currently sitting in front of my tv watching the “connecting” wheel spinning and nothing happening.

The worst experience I have ever had – If you are reading these reviews means you are looking to know how Foxtel Broadband works. Please, DO NOT subscribe with them. I had to call 4 times in less than 10 months to check the internet as it was ridiculous slow until I was with NO INTERNET at all for an entire month (when I really needed as work from home). They sent a technician, spent… Read more

some minutes at my place checking where the problem was and in very rude way he was blaming Foxtel for the problem. When i called Foxtel, they said it was a Telstra issue. In the end, i cancelled my subscription in early october, however, they now sent me a new invoice for double the amount I have been paying monthly for the 'technician visit'. It seems that in one of my calls, they read the T&Cs and asked me if i would agree and said yes to that so now they expect me to pay this invoice even though nobody fixed the issue and i am not longer a customer of them. Very disappointing, waste of time on the phone with multiple people, lack of customer care, awful experience.

Promised 30 Mbps, got avg 5 Mbps – It took foxtel 2 weeks to connect. Promised us 30 Mbps - but that's the NBN and it's not in our area. Then the promised us 15 Mbps via ADSL2 ... After 2 weeks of stuffing us around, we're averaging download of 5 Mbps. Those rare instances of 10-12 Mbps are far outweighed by the 2 Mbps. Upload averages 0.4 Mbps. We called technical support over… Read more

a dozen times in less than 2 months. We did everything they suggested including using cat6 cables instead of wifi. They even had Telstra check three times. Nothing worked and they agreed they were getting the same speeds.

But when we tried to cancel without charge, they wouldn't because our problem hadn't been escalated. NEVER in any of our phone calls were we told that was an option. We just got the same runaround each time.

We cancelled today, 2 months into a 12 month contract for a $320 charge. Despite their processed failing, we were the ones penalised.

They said they couldn't give us a log of our calls, which we asked for because the "loyalty team" member (there's a misnomer) appeared to be reading our logs from an alternative universe.

Don't use Foxtel ... avoid them like the plague.

Rubbish Internet – Had Foxtel with an internet bundle for a couple of years. Don’t know why I put up with it for so long. The internet is constantly dropping and we need to reset the router weekly. When you call tech support they have no clue. Don’t waste your money on this crap.  Show details

Don’t bother- tech support terrible. Worst company ever – I’ve been with foxtel for years and their broadband for two years. I’m cancelling everything tomorrow as I’ve had enough. Great internet but tech support useless – Have been with foxtel for 6 months and have been getting great internet speed. I got a package which included unlimited broadband, home phone and foxtel for under$100 p/m. Tech support and customer service is useless. O/seas call center that have no idea on their own product. However Their service guys that install every thing were great.  Show details

Rough start but service has stabilized – we added ADSL to our TV package some months ago. For the first 2 months there were constant disruptions in service, having to spend 30 minutes on the phone every other day. Replaced modem still had some issues. Foxtel did pro rate bill to reflect outages. After a while service stabilized.  Show details

Customer service is good – We have been Foxtel customers for pay TV and decided to give them a go with our internet. If You Are Reading This Do Not Buy Foxtel Wifi – Horrible, Can't use it 80% of the time, fortnite Lags out every time I play it, Customer Service is just incompetent and claim Speed's are fine and above average at (2 upload & 0.20 Download) it is honestly a joke. We made the right choice – We were Foxtel TV customers for a few years and were on the market for a new internet provider and also wanted to consolidate. The signed up online, all the relevant e-mails came in as expected and the new modem arrived very quickly as well. It is very reliable and we have not dropouts. The speed is ok, provided we are on ADSL. Overall we are happy we made the right choice.  Show details

I wouldnt rush back – I have an ADSL service with Foxtel and it took about 2 weeks for the installation process. Rubbish – ADSL2 and has been nothing but dramas since we got it. Would not recommend to anyone, go with someone who specialises in customer service as this is not only an appalling service but when you complain and get through to tech they don't call back like they say they will when they "escalate" the issue.  Show details

Great speed and customer service – We have been using Foxtel for 3 months and had no issues so far. The Internet is fast, we use multiple devices via wi-fi and the speed is great. They also have local customer service and had no issues with them either. I would recommend them, they have good packages and we are on the unlimited data.  Show details

We love our new connection so far and have no complaints – I signed up for a 24-month entertainment bundle after seeing them advertise on Foxtel TV that I already subscribed to. Good customer service – I have been with Foxtel for a few months now as well and I am also on a 24-month plan and cannot change. I cannot say that I am happy with the speed it is on average less than 7 Mbps at any point in time. Our previous provider was Westnet and their speed was even slower. We do not have NBN availability at our address as yet and are waiting for that. In terms of customer service, Foxtel is great and I am happy with them.  Show details

No complaints – I was guided (based on my family's internet usage) to sign up with Foxtel when I moved rental properties. My connection is more than adequate and much better than my previous one so I'm a happy chappy. Slow, Slower, Slowest – Well, foxtel broadband speed is very slow. Initially I thought it was because of the distance from the exchange, but I was reliably informed that this was not the case. higher speed than what we are getting. The NBN has recently been rolled out to our address and I have had lots of NBN providers try to gain my business, but nothing from foxtel, just the speed is slower than previous. Speed test have been done and compared to 3 other houses in my street and unfortunately mine is at ¼ of the speed of the other three houses. I have a two year contract with combined Foxtel Sat and Broadband and it has a few months to go, so when it is up I will change providers. From a customer service point of view every time I have had to talk to someone they are very polite and follow up. I also like the fact that I can have 1 bill for foxtel and net, as I do not have a landline. Sorry foxtel you are just way too slow.

Good and reliable – I changed to Foxtel from iinet and I was happy and surprised with the difference in speed. I am confident that they are providing a good service and I am also happy with the level of support hat I have received from their call center. Gets better overtime – We signed up for 24 months as an entertainment bundle. At first, our speed was shocking and after we called technical supports many times they agreed to check the phone lines. Apparently, they found a falt and repaired it. After that our internet is ok, as it can be as we are on ADSL. We were with Westnet before and I can tell that Foxtel is better.  Show details

Fast internet, no problems – One thing about reviews on internet service providers, some people blame the company for slow internet etc, and don't take into consideration that they might be located far from the closest exchange for instance. I am currently on an ASDL plan, and the speed is exactly what it should be (calculating my distance to my exchange) with no drop outs. I have called up for an inquiry one time, and there was no delay talking to someone.  Show details

Netflix works better than Foxtel television! Using a Foxtel internet and Foxtel tv go figure.

I have had enough with my friends commenting on the problems I continuel to have when we sit down watch television and I am paying $205 a month for this poor service. Well I started checking wireless options because I have no confidence in nbn.
