Lovely earrings – Ive bought several sets of earrings from Francesca and always get compliments on them all! Good for the price. Love that they are hypoallergenic too so don’t have to worry about any nasties in them. Shipping is always pretty quick too.

In terms of the quality, I couldn’t fault any of my pieces. When I had an issue with a broken clasp on one of my necklaces, the team quickly resolved it for me with no issues. Scratches on jewellery are a sign of wearing and loving the piece, so I don’t see that as a workmanship issue at all. I mean, even my pricey engagement ring has signs of love all over it Haha!

fiddling each time I went to put it in or take it off which of course meant I hardly ever wanted to use it. When I took it to a jeweler to see if I could get the chain extended he just said it’s costume jewelery so no. For that money I expect quality. Would never purchase again

As a consumer, I do smell something unpleasant about this.

Update: Went to their Hobart store on Mother’s Day to buy an item in the afternoon. The staff might have been tired, but they were not interested in customers. Their attitude was like “I don’t care”. It was so sad to be treated like that. Of course I did not buy the item.

advised that they now charge $30 plus postage to just restring the bracelet. A 200% increase in price. Together with postage it would now cost $50 to repair a $69 bracelet. Just very sad and disappointed that Francesca no longer seem to value their loyal customers and I would think that while they are charging $69 for an elastic beaded bracelet which is inevitably going to break they would charge a reasonable fee to repair it when this happens. Just one very disappointed ex customer.

Colour doesn't last – Bought the gold cuff bracelet for my daughters 21st - the colour has not lasted/changed. The gold wore off. Lovely necklace, it so great quality – I received a locket necklace from my family and it was beautiful. Unfortunately the clasp on the locket broke just outside of the 3 month warranty (yep only a 3 month warranty even with the high price tag!) I really love the locket and how they added the photo inside so it’s a perfect fit, but it constantly opens up and hangs down when wearing it now. If I get a new locket it will be from elsewhere.

my main order of $68.99 has not been refunded and even with all the evidence from the bank they are refusing to admit that 1. more money was taken out - clear receipts from bank were provided 2. that they haven't refunded my money

They also want to only refund $64.

So they cancelled a valid order because they didnt like the code being used.

Took extra money from my account, with no explanation.

And won't refund my purchase, which they cancelled!

With business processes like this they won't be around long! The jewellery isn't worth the hassle of dealing with people who have no idea how to run a business - take your money elsewhere!

usually breaks after the 3 months. You have to cover the cost at your own expenses. It’s not cheap, so you would hope it would have a longer period for warranty or higher quality for the price. It is very hit and miss regarding the quality. The staff are always friendly and great, but for the price the quality should be more sturdy and have a higher quality.
