Placed order 24/10 allowing for weekend now 5 business days and today Friday so coming up another weekend. Order still stuck on confirmed. Spoke to concierge online chat(not sure if that is an actual person) and also by email to follow up when likely to be dispatched. I offered to pay for express post if that would expedite process. Same old… Read more
generic fluff will get a tracking number when shipped. No help at all. A large company like Frankie4 should have a better and quicker shipping process in place. Shocking so disappointing.
Ended up with very expensive shoes that I cannot wear, cause blisters every time but. Because I wore them for 15 mins outside they will not refund. They are now cheaply made obviously made in a different factory now and not up to standard. I really don’t think any podiatrist would want there name on them now. Was told by the shop assistant they… Read more
cannot be exchanged but to try going to the chemist and getting heel protection to stick in the heel of the shoe. Surely at $270 you should not need this. Beware they are not what they use to be and there are no refunds.
I am so sad-finally found shoes that mean I can walk or stand all day. I've been buying these shoes for 4 years now in 2 colours. The last pair the quality is sooo bad they have been falling apart since I first wore them. I have recommended so many friends get these shoes. I need new shoes now and would normally have no problem spending $200+ on good quality comfy shoes. Sadly Im off to look for a different brand

Shoes started falling apart after 2 months of wear. Not worth $280. I get better durability from kmart shoes. Very comfortable, but regret spending so much money on shoes that should be better quality.
Very disappointed with the customer service. I ordered a pair of Duke sneakers and, when they arrived, the white leather was visibly discoloured yellow. I contacted customer service the same day. I was told I could return them for a refund or store credit. When I asked about a replacement pair, I was advised that a replacement could not be sent… Read more
until the faulty pair had been received back at the warehouse. What disappointed me most was that Frankie4’s usual size-exchange process is actually more convenient — if I had simply ordered the wrong size, a replacement pair could have been sent while the original pair was returned within a set timeframe. Instead, because the shoes arrived faulty, all of the inconvenience fell to me. I had to complete the return process, package the shoes, go to the post office and then wait for them to be received before anything further could happen. The shoes have now arrived back at the warehouse and I am waiting for my refund. I would have happily accepted a replacement pair, despite the delay, but I was disappointed by the lack of acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused by receiving a faulty product. I really like Frankie4 shoes and find them very comfortable, which makes the customer service experience even more disappointing.
I have bought many pairs of Frankie4 shoes earlier but something has happend to their manufacturing. I used the the white sneakers three times and the leather started falling apart… So disappointing!
I have owned multiple pairs of Frankie4 shoes over the years and have always purchased my usual size without issue, which is why I felt confident wearing these shoes straight out of the house. Unfortunately, after around an hour of wear I began experiencing discomfort across the top of my foot. I loosened the laces to try and relieve the… Read more
pressure, but this then caused the shoes to slip and feel unstable. By four hours of wear, the pain was significant enough that I had to return home during the day to change shoes.
I contacted Frankie4 as I was genuinely surprised by how uncomfortable they were, particularly given my positive experience with the brand previously. However, because the shoes had been worn outside, my request for a return or exchange was declined under their returns policy.
I understand that retailers need policies in place, but it is disappointing that customers have no practical way of assessing comfort without wearing shoes in real-world conditions. Had I known these shoes would cause such pain, I would never have kept them.
Sadly, this experience has left me disappointed in both the product and the after-sales service, and I will be reconsidering future purchases from Frankie4.
If you’d like it a little stronger and more pointed, I can also draft a version that focuses more heavily on the lack of customer care and loyalty recognition.

I ordered a pair of Frankie loafers for around $230 - the buckle broke on my 3rd wear. Please be absolutely sure when making a purchase. I’m no longer able to wear the shoes. I noticed that the leather started fading too. Not worth the money.

1/5 cos I could not give a zero. I got the Trinity flats and after 2 months of using it, the sole is already separating from the shoe. There is scuffing too. For the price they are asking for, I expect to use the shoes for a few years. I emailed their team and I was told that it was wear and tear and that I should get it repaired which they will… Read more

So disappointed with my most recent pair. I've been buying Frankie4 shoes for years as they are orthotic friendly and never needed breaking in. I recently purchased a pair of the Ellie sneakers and they are bad; they won't fit my orthotics and the leather is so stiff and hard they hurt my feet. Another pair I purchased a few months ago are just as… Read more
bad, I can't wear them. Such a shame this brand has gone downhill, they are really expensive too. I will have to find another brand.

Very disappointing experience from a brand that claims to be “game changing comfort”. I’ve been a long-term FRANKIE4 customer and have recommended this brand to countless people specifically because it’s podiatrist-founded. Unfortunately, the Juno shoes completely miss that mark. After wearing them for a few days, they caused significant pain… Read more
and visibly pushed my toes sideways. They aggravated my bunions rather than supporting them. This isn’t a case of “needing to wear them in” — it’s a fundamental design issue.
What made this experience worse was the condescending customer service response.
Despite my long purchase history and loyalty to the brand, FRANKIE4 refused to offer even a store credit because the shoes had been worn. Of course they were worn — that’s the only way to discover that they cause pain after a full day.
This experience has completely changed how I view the brand. I will not purchase from FRANKIE4 again, and I will no longer recommend them. For a company that trades so heavily on “podiatrist-designed” and customer care, the lack of flexibility and accountability is incredibly disappointing.
If you have bunions or sensitive feet, be very cautious — and don’t assume all styles live up to the brand promise or that they will care that their shoes are damaging your feet.
The photos show the red sores after wearing these shoes for the day - very painful.
They told me it was “poor fit” whilst also acknowledging “Juno features a pointed toe box which may feel narrow for some foot shapes in the toe area.”
I wouldn’t expect this from a podiatrist founded shoe company and you shouldn’t either. Go to Bared instead.
I love Frankie4 shoes but unfortunately must agree with all the reviews saying that their shoes are not worth the money they are asking for. Their soles are the worst. I purchased my first pair of Frankie4 sneakers probably sometime in 2021 and they lasted me 3 years and I loved them. The quality back then was great. Fast forward to 2024 and I… Read more
purchased a second pair of sneakers to replace the old one. To my shock they started to wear off after 4 months of gentle wear. When I have raised it with Frankie4 they have questioned me how I use them and where I use them and asked for various photos. At the end they just concluded that it was normal wear and tear and offered the 20% off from my next purchase. At that point I took them to Fair trading and after couple of months got my refund back.
In the meantime I also bought a pair of Deon slides which this morning I’ve noticed are completely worn off on one of the shoes in the heel area. I probably wore them for 3-4 months (having in mind that it was winter when I bought them and only used them for my overseas trip for few weeks). I took them this morning to a shoe repair shop which confirmed that the way the shoe is done is not good.
Frankie4 in one of their emails to me disputing the wear and tear of the sneakers mentioned that “their shoes are designed with high quality performance materials chosen for their adaptability and comfort.” Comfort, yes, that’s why I love them but performance??? I think we are very far from that. It is really disappointing especially when you experienced the good quality before and it seems like now they are choosing cheap materials yet the prices of the shoes are not reflecting it.
It's a shame.

were sold out company wide. I asked if I would be eligible for a partial refund and they offered $15, meanwhile I paid $12 for postage. I wanted the shoes so I took that as I figured it was better than nothing. A month later the shoes have broken. I received a response from Frankie4 fairly quickly, which was nice but ultimately I’m pretty disappointed still.

Velcro to the maximum but unfortunately the shoe wasn’t a good fit for my feet. The toe box was too high and rubbed the cut. I was most disappointed as I had spoken to the staff who had recommended this shoe. There was also very little flex in the shoe which didn't help my current condition. Extremely disappointed.
Follow-up · There was a slight arch support and that definitely helped. I didnt have the option of trying other styles as this was the shoe that was suggested and Frankie4 never followed up on my review so no returns either. I would highly recommend Bared Shoes who are terrific with both their advice and their follow up. You cannot go wrong with that shoe brand. BARED wont let you walk away with a pair of their shoes that does not serve your purpose.

I took them to a shoemaker, he told me that it's poor quality leather, shouldn't peel like that after 6 months of regular wear. At this price point it should be much better quality leather !! The best experience buying my first Frankie4 boots. I ordered online & have the incorrect suburb by accident. Called customer service and they sorted the problem out for me straight away. They were helpful & friendly. Picked up my boots, as requested from in store & again a fabulous & positive experience. I am really excited about wearing my new boots this weekend. Very disappointed. Have a lot friends that recommend these shoes so I decided to do it, saved up the money and bought a pair of tan ballet flats for work. of the heels are worn through and badly scuffed, the sole is coming away from the upper and there are threads hanging from the stitching. For nearly $300 I expected much much better, and certainly expected them to last at least a year. A 6 month warranty? What good is that? What a scam. I've had better longevity and product value from Sandler & Easy Steps so it's a no-brainer for me. Good riddance Frankie4.
Having loved my comfy and versatile Jackie V sneaker I bought a second pair. The sizing was different and the quality was terrible. Laces fell apart within weeks. Over to bared now.

As a first time buyer with Frankie4 I had high hopes, but my experience with their customer service was so terrible, it ruined this. Frankie4 shoes must have changed their manufacturers to overseas. These shoes used to be the best. Unfortunately now, they are on par with nasty $20 shoes you could buy in a cheap shop. HORRENDOUS!! who NEEDS quality, comfortable, supportive shoes. I returned 2 pairs recently. Both AWFUL, poor quality and SO hard and painful to wear.
Recently purchased Shadow black suede boots as online sale item and couldn't be more disappointed with them. They would have to be the most uncomfortable boots/shoes I have ever worn. Despite sizing up to allow for heavier socks in winter, the sizing is far too narrow. I currently have eight pairs of Frankie4's and am finding with each purchase… Read more
they seem to be getting narrower. With the outrageous price of the product, one would think some effort would be put into different widths as is provided in quite a few other brands. The packaging is so over the top with layer upon layer of tissue, cardboard, bags, etc. Perhaps if some of this was dispensed with, a reduction in the very expensive price of these shoes could be considered. I doubt if I will be purchasing from this company again but if I do, I will ensure I make the purchase in-store to ensure a good fit.

design called Ellie, which got thousands of rave reviews... Well, the difference is like night and day. The colour turns out to be pinkish, rather than sandy coloured, they are extremely uncomfortable, the tongue comes up so high, it rubs on the front of my ankle area. They are very tight across the widest part of the foot and bits I can't find except when I'm wearing them, rub the top of my foot. I've had them about a year now but only worn them 4 times due to my feet needing days to recover afterwards, which makes me wary of wearing them. $279 is a lot of money to waste. So my advice, don't buy online. Buy only in a place you can try them on, and have a decent walk in them. I won't be buying them again.

Recently I purchased a couple of pairs of shoes as they were on special at Frankie4. This was my second pair of the same slide but different color. it was damaged. Unfortunately, within a few days I was given a store credit with no explanation. I was told previously a store credit would be given if they decide that nothing was wrong with the shoe. This was completely incorrect. I had bought a pair previously and could compare. Now I had to spend more money on shoes I didn't need just to use my store credit. The shoe I returned was damaged and a refund would have solved the issue. I would have kept the shoes if not damaged as it was my second pair and I did find them comfortable. All the while I liaised with customer support, about this issue and another large purchase that went very wrong, I felt foolish and a nuisance. I will think twice before I purchase from them again. The review I placed on Frankie 4 was a 1 star. To this day it has not been placed on there. I have observed all ratings are 4- or 5-star ratings.

I have been a fan of Frankie4 for some time but what has happened to the quality? Perhaps they have changed materials or manufacturers to save money? Two pairs of wedges that I cannot wear as the soles burn my feet. So uncomfortable in the hot summer months. Really not worth the $279 price mark. They have lost me. Show details
