This is the second time we have used this company and the second time installation has been cancelled on the scheduled day. Will never use them again

Based on the product alone, I would rate the experience 4 or 5. Unfortunately, the installation experience was terrible and the contractor had to return 3 or 4 times over as many weeks due to not have sufficient parts to install the blinds. Very frustrating. What a debarcle simply trying to get an initial 'ballpark' quote – 'Turned up in person to the Helensvale Homeworld Centre Franklyns office where I made an enquiry being interested in having pvc aluminium core shutters made and installed in a full length bay window. I had plans for the existing residence and said bay window but due to tenants moving out was unable to undertake exact measurements until the next… Read more

day. Initial consultant was extremely helpful and offered a quote from our plans which had clearly a 3 piece glass bay window with angle each side of a full length centre opening section. The centre section was easily measured via the plan however the 2 side glass panels were not clearly shown in measurements. The consultant had erred on the larger side of 1 m. Sure, we had a starting point. We returned the next day with an accurate measurement of the centre window section and the 2 side glass panels of the bay widow. (3 areas in total). We left this with a different consultant for a more accurate quote and gave her an hour to complete in person. Upon return she advised that the first consultant had not allowed for the 2 side glass panels in the bay window in the initial quote. After re-reading the 2nd quote (the revised one) WE, ourselves, identified that the consultant had only quoted for ONE side of the bay window, not 2. All Bay Windows have one centre and 2 sides. Surely they would know this. If they can't quote on a basic bay window X 2 consultants Franklyns is a NO GO for us. Sorry .... get your act together Franklyns. You've got ONE job. !!!
