My experience with dealing with this store was sub standard and subsequently I will NOT be returning to again…. Disorganised / poor computer system ,staff not knowing where my order or receipt for purchases were.clunky system.needs to be addressed.!!! False and misleading information regarding delivery dates and lack of details on the product for the sake of getting a sale…very unprofessional indeed.

The ETA on the couch was 14-16 weeks, due to arrive 22nov-7th dec. It ended up arriving almost 4 weeks earlier than the expected date which was great.
The whole process with Freedom, particularly with Nick's help, was great. Love my couch thank you so much.
Super happy with my beautiful rug and hanging art. Anne (manager)was amazing, she definitely went the extra mile, she is friendly, down to earth, unbelievable knowledgeable, picked up so many styling tips. furnishings over 30 years. Now we are looking to furnish our new apartment in the city with Freedom furnitures again but have been extremely dissapointed/disgusted with Freedom Nunawading & will NEVER EVER shop with Freedom - Nunawading.
We came back on the 26/12/2025 appproxmatively 1:30pm to say that we want to cancel one of of our orders the 2 Cristo Occassional Chair Ivory ($1598) chairs but wanting to collect the rest. We were horified when we were told that we had to pay $45 - for the cancellation fees by the Manager [Name Removed] on duty - redicoulous.
We informed the Manager [Name Removed] that at no time when we were in the store (for over 1 1/2hrs) purchasing all these 6 items- not ever did the Freedom salesperson mentioned to either of us that there's a cancellation fees of $45. Additionally when we made the full payment at the register - there were no signs to indicate to the general public that there's a cancellation fees of $45.
I explained this to the Manager [Name Removed] but she completely disregard and said that she is sorry that the salesperson didn't informed us but we are still required to pay that $45 - regardless. I told the Manager [Name Removed] on principle I refused to pay that cancellation fees simplly because the staff was incompetent or purposedly not wanting to infom the customers of this cancellation fees. This is unprofessional & unethical to expect us to pay that cancellation fees when the error was made by Freedom furniutre in not informing any customers prior to purchasing & there's no printed copy on the desk for all customers to see. This is unprofessional. The Manager [Name Removed] couldn't show us a printed copy while we were at the register - unprofessional.
I then told the Manager [Name Removed] to cancel all my orders and we will NEVER EVER purchase anything ever again from Freedom - Nunawading. Goodbye & good ridd........-Freedom - Nunawading.

We bought a couch from Freedom. It was the apartment 2 couch. The couch is nice and arrived 3 weeks late. The free sprays we had included with the couch was not enough to cover sofa and cushions twice.. we had to buy more ourselves. as the spray otherwise got on the floor and we have new floorboards. Freedom should consider spraying at the factory before sending to customers.
Paid for item from Essendon store via Online Payment on website which states it can take up to 24hr for payment to process. Within that time the Manager returned item to floor and sold it and refusing the rectify their mistake and replace at price I have paid. 2 weeks gone now, still not rectified and Freedom still have my money.
