Paid for item from Essendon store via Online Payment on website which states it can take up to 24hr for payment to process. Within that time the Manager returned item to floor and sold it and refusing the rectify their mistake and replace at price I have paid. 2 weeks gone now, still not rectified and Freedom still have my money.

Love going to Freedom furniture dfo – This store is beautiful I love coming here it’s big and spacious always lots to see! The staff are full of knowledge and always service with a smile. I bought a vase & pots to put my plants in which are beautiful & exactly what I was looking for but of course I had to buy a candle holder & fragrance for my new home! Good sales experience ruined by after purchase customer service – A company called 'Freedom' that can't even grant a tiny bit of freedom to its customers to make a simple change within 20 hours of placing an order. Oh, the irony! The salesperson was great—knowledgeable and very helpful. However, we were told it couldn’t be done. Not allowing a customer to make a simple change to a $5,500 order within 24 hours is absolutely absurd. I’d recommend spending your money elsewhere!

What a joke, the worst customer service!!! Shame on you freedom – I ordered the MOMBA Leather Modular Sofa through DFO Essendon. I waited around 6months ++++ for the delivery. I’ve owned it for under a year so it is still in warranty!!!! I put in a claim in regards to the sofa. Some issues that it has an inspector came out for three minutes. said and did say that that should not be happening and it is in great condition and also said that these particular couches have lots of these issues which I find absolutely ridiculous. I did explain to them and him that it is in a viewing room that no one sits on it only gets dusted. So yes it is in very good condition. He also gave me his number and said that he can do the repairs on it! To me at sounds like they purposely write up a report that they know freedom won’t accept so then they can get a job out of it and make the customer pay!!!! Customer service contact me in regards to my claim and says that there is nothing that they can do as it is not a manufacturing issue that it is wear and tear. I explained my frustrations that no one sits on and that I have gone around to 2 freedom stores and checked out their display couch that is on floor and looks nothing like mine. How was that wear and tear considering multiple people sit on the couches in the freedom store, and it looks better than mine and it’s the way it got delivered and all customer service said why didn’t you do it sooner I told her I’m still in my warranty period it does not matter when I lodge the claim as long as I am I warranty period absolutely disgusting service. They have left me no choice but to come on this platform for them to rectify the issues but at this point, I’m just demanding a full refund. If I don’t get this resolved, I will go on every platform and make sure everyone hears about this. Thanks freedom…. To anyone that wants to purchase anything I advise you to go and shop somewhere else…..

Friendly, patient staff. Was a bit overwhelmed as the store was quite overcrowded with stock, however, the staff supported me well with making the right decision on my couch. Got a great deal on the couch and it arrived earlier than estimated delivery date! Couch is firm, comfortable and just what we were expecting. Would recommend. Show details ·  1

Walking in I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance. Advised I was browsing and was left to it which was what I wanted. I then saw a sofa I liked and again was approached which was helpful. I ended up buying a sofa, a coffee table and two arm chairs. It was made easy with the Eltons help. I now am awaiting delivery. Show reply

one person. There was over 5 people in the store chatting around the service desk and when I asked them for help I felt like an inconvenience. Eventually someone helped me and she was nice however it was rushed and once I left I was never contacted and then found they sent me an email calling me by a completely different name. I didn’t care about the sale at this point, I was so turned off I didn’t want to go back. A couple weeks later I was in Essendon DFO and popped into the freedom. I was approached by a lovely lady named Rose. If I ever need ANYTHING from freedom Rose will be my first contact. She was so helpful and gave me so much of her time. I ended up purchasing the couches even without the sale. The store manager also came out once Rose had told her about my previous experience and they both really made up for it. It was also Roses birthday on the day.(happy birthday) A week later, I was at my house which is being built and realised I had ordered the wrong configuration for my couches my heart sank because I know this probably couldn’t be changed. I went in and spoke with Rose and she was able to fix it all up for me. I wanted to say a huge thank you to Rose and the lovely store manager for making my experience so lovely, memorable and easy. I have so much more to purchase for my home and will definitely be back!!

It faded the stain, but it was still present and we weren’t happy. (The couch was thousands of dollars and not a cheap purchase)

The cleaners wrote their report.

We had to continue to follow up on a resolution, where the claims team refused to do anything else and closed our case. They now continue to ignore our complaint.

We are going to the ACCC and media. DO NOT purchase from this company.

They will provide faulty products and steal your money in the process.

Absolutely appalled at this company.

Rosco and James ah-mazing service Essendon – I can’t thank Rosco and James enough for their EXCEPTIONAL service. The issue was a huge logistical challenge and they did EVERYTHING to accomodate. Disgusted and Angry: Freedom Noosa sofa delivered damaged, denial of consumer rights – Don’t believe what you see on “The Block” regarding Freedom sofas. Our Noosa sectional sofa was delivered damaged but Freedom refuse to refund us. If a new sofa is delivered damaged, under Aust. Consumer law the customer is entitled to a replacement or full refund - their choice. We bought the Noosa sectional sofa from Freedom in Oct 2022. 3… Read more

months is long for delivery. On 18/01/2023 (4 months), the first 2 sections of the sofa were delivered with a large obvious stain on the external side RH side arm, and lighter stains on the back of the sofa. We contacted Freedom and sent photos as did the deliverers, (who tried to rub it off). A new sofa should be in pristine condition. I applied stain removal treatment recommended and bought from Freedom. It did not remove the stain. We requested repair or replacement. A Chemdry upholstery cleaning professional sent by Freedom in February, could not remove the stain. He said he’d “seen this many times with Freedom sofas, He said “the fabric on our sofa IS SUCH POOR QUALITY IT CANNOT BE CLEANED’. “The fabric protection product sold us by Freedom won’t help”. He sent photos and a report. The stain is still visible. Freedom offered us $450 to ‘close our complaint’. The sofa cost $6000! We don’t want a worthless, stained sofa. No-one would buy a stained sofa. The final sofa section delivered in March was also stained on arrival. A stained brand new sofa of fabric that cannot be cleaned is not acceptable. It’s not what we paid for. Freedom have now offered us a replacement with a 6 month wait; an unacceptable delay; over 12 months from payment to receiving suitable goods. We no longer trust Freedom products and asked for a full refund (as is our right under Australian Consumer law). Freedom refused. “we cant offer you a refund” they say. The dispute is now 4 months. Freedom did not supply what we paid for. No matter what a company sales guarantee and warrantee states, they cannot offer consumers less than what Australian law requires in the event of a faulty product. Which is what Freedom is trying to do to us. We gave Freedom every opportunity to do the right thing. We are now reporting Freedom to the ACCC
