Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who were patient when exploring multiple options for me. There was a wide variety of items to view. Staff also assisted me in sourcing products they didn’t have in stock by calling through to another store to place it on hold for me. Show details ·  1

We purchased and paid for in full on Christmas eve 24/12/2025 @1:25pm, 2 Selena Carver Chairs($558), 2 Nara Outdoor Dinning chairs ($498) and 2 Cristo Occassional Chair Ivory ($1598) - which is yet to be delivered. furnishings over 30 years. Now we are looking to furnish our new apartment in the city with Freedom furnitures again but have been extremely dissapointed/disgusted with Freedom Nunawading & will NEVER EVER shop with Freedom - Nunawading.

We came back on the 26/12/2025 appproxmatively 1:30pm to say that we want to cancel one of of our orders the 2 Cristo Occassional Chair Ivory ($1598) chairs but wanting to collect the rest. We were horified when we were told that we had to pay $45 - for the cancellation fees by the Manager [Name Removed] on duty - redicoulous.

We informed the Manager [Name Removed] that at no time when we were in the store (for over 1 1/2hrs) purchasing all these 6 items- not ever did the Freedom salesperson mentioned to either of us that there's a cancellation fees of $45. Additionally when we made the full payment at the register - there were no signs to indicate to the general public that there's a cancellation fees of $45.

I explained this to the Manager [Name Removed] but she completely disregard and said that she is sorry that the salesperson didn't informed us but we are still required to pay that $45 - regardless. I told the Manager [Name Removed] on principle I refused to pay that cancellation fees simplly because the staff was incompetent or purposedly not wanting to infom the customers of this cancellation fees. This is unprofessional & unethical to expect us to pay that cancellation fees when the error was made by Freedom furniutre in not informing any customers prior to purchasing & there's no printed copy on the desk for all customers to see. This is unprofessional. The Manager [Name Removed] couldn't show us a printed copy while we were at the register - unprofessional.

I then told the Manager [Name Removed] to cancel all my orders and we will NEVER EVER purchase anything ever again from Freedom - Nunawading. Goodbye & good ridd........-Freedom - Nunawading.

I have always liked the range of furniture in Freedom as they are of a high quality. The staff are also very pleasant and helpful at my local store in Nunawading. It was a bit of luck that I recently made a purchase of a bedhead at a good discounted price from the clearance area. I responded to the Freedom adverts for 40% off sofas in June 2025. I had picked out online the sofa I knew would fit into the space so the sale was quite an easy one as only colour needed to be chosen. months and constant email updates ensured I knew of any small delays. Delivery guys were good after originally being a bit worried about getting the sofa through the door. They got it in and took away all the packaging so the whole process was very easy.

I had never been into a Freedom store, it was suggested by a friend to use the stylist. Easy to book the stylist, quick appointment made, great ideas, purchases made. Really made decorating the apartment so easy for a downsizer. Show details ·  1

Faulty bed delivered, terrible after sales service – Ordered a bed head and base, couch and coffee table in May for my new home. raw materials and staples showing, a dark mark and one of the drawers does not open. I thought Freedom sold quality products. Now trying to deal with unhelpful after sales consultants online who seem uninterested to help. Can’t even get a phone number off them to speak to someone. Not happy

months? Take my advice unless your looking to purchase a scented candle or a chopping board don't even think about visiting this so called furniture store.

I do shopping in Freedom Nunawading regularely and have always been very happy with the customer service there. The staff are friendly and available to assist all the time. They are patient with questions and explain everything in detail. The store is always clean and welcoming. I highly recommend this store. Show details ·  1

Was able to grab a bargain at the clearance section at the Nunawading store. Staff was absolutely delightful, and went the extra mile in finding me boxes and paper to safely store and transport the homeware. Definitely going back for some bargain hunting. Show details ·  1

After exploring the store we found the perfect dining table, chairs and coffee table for our home. We found a lot of similar items in surrounding stores however freedom had the exact style and colours we were looking for. Show details ·  1

I bought the Scarlett Floor mirror and is absolutely gorgeous! The quality is great and it suits my place very well - I just have it standing, not hanging. The staff at Nunawading were very helpful when I purchased it and they answered my questions about delivery options. Show details ·  1

Outstanding customer service! – The delivery of my Mother's bed was delayed by a week. Chris from the Nunawading Freedom store went above and beyond to assist in getting the bed to us as quickly as possible and was so friendly and helpful. idea how long it’s been sitting there for?? when I enquired as to why no one has notified me it’s available and ready for delivery, the sales lady said they don’t call customers you have to keep checking in yourself.. are you serious! Customer service is seriously lacking so disappointing. After spending over $5000, poor communication on top of very lengthy wait times 8 month plus on my order, discouraged to be shopping at Freedom again.
