I was served by Rose at freedom Preston. She was absolutely amazing. Such great people skills and customer service skills. I purchased the apartment 01 couch from her and absolutely loved it. Even the delivery guys were great, they were at my place for a whole of 10 minutes to put my couch together and then took the plastic and wrapping also! Fantastic service. Show reply

Spent about 4K on a new sofa that needs to be fluffed multiple times a week, cushions fall off and has been ripped. Freedom 'customer service' absoloutely atrocious. came in July. Although he attempted to adjust the padding and re-align the fabric, the issues quickly resurfaced because there was inadequate padding over the frame.

Under Australian Consumer Law, the sofa clearly fails to meet acceptable quality standards. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve this—through numerous calls and emails over several months to the Freedom Warranty Team and the Preston store —I only received a response after sending a formal letter of demand. This letter summarized all prior communication and indicated my intent to escalate the matter to the ACCC and the Department of Fair Trading if no resolution was reached asap.

Freedom then offered only a store credit for an exchange, even though the sofa was faulty. It has been nearly 3 weeks since my sofa was collected, and I am still waiting for the store credit needed to purchase a replacement. Again in true Freedom customer service fashion, I as the customer is required to follow up. I am raising a chargeback with my bank - this has gone on far too long.

I would not recommend Freedom Furniture. The time and effort I have spent on this warranty claim have been excessive and disappointing. What a waste of time.

never buy from freedom agian. I had stressful time with them and I wasted my money. I heard also many people talking about their poor quality which I already saw it myself. The worst customer service ever. Once they take your money they wont respond to anything. I have a panic attack symptoms when I see their name. I will never spend a dollar in this cheap store. Now I will proceed to vcat to return my money. They send someone to clean it but the stain did not came off. Moreover, there is a big discolouring spot on the back of my sofa. Dont waste your money and time. The saleperson smiles and pretend she is helpful when you want to buy, but once you pay them they wont do anything.

Staff were knowledgable about the products and did not rush me as I spent well over an hour moving back and forward between mattresses to choose the best option. They listened to my requirements and were proactive in showing me alternative options that might be suitable, even if they were lower cost and required unmaking/remaking of several display beds! Show details ·  1

potential purchase of our sofa Rose and Janet engaged with us, like we had known them for ages and provided all the answers to our questions and also offered great advice based on their knowledge and experience. Previous to this we had visited a few other Freedom stores and thought the service and information we were seeking was well below par and our expectations. If not for Rose & Janet we would be heading off to King Furniture to make our purchase. We are definetly going back to Preston in the future.

My fantastic experience with Rose and Marcus from Freedom Preston – I purchased a sofa bed and three beds & mattresses from the Freedom Preston store a couple of weeks ago with delivery scheduled four days ago. When the items were delivered, the sofa bed wouldn’t fit through a doorway in the house. comparable product that would fit though the doorway. Their solution was incredibly effective but unconventional; unpack the sofa bed from its original box, wrap the sofa bed in a specific type of plastic that would hold the cushions down enough, so that when the feet were removed it would fit through the doorway. There were only centimeters to spare.

In addition, Rose also organized next day delivery and kept open communication via phone and email every step of the way.

I can’t than rose and Marcus enough for their genuine care and support, it’s very much appreciated!

Dishonest delivery – After waiting 5 months for a special order dining table, the morning of delivery I was informed the table was missing/lost. After chasing for answers, one week later they delivered a "customer returned" table from 2022. was damaged. This table was part of a large order of furniture which all displayed my name, details and a create date of 15/07/2023 but this table did not. I visited the store to attempt to resolve the situation and have had emails with their warranties and claims department. I am a seeking a refund which Freedom is refusing to give.
