days end on day 18th they asked me for $25k more without giving me much explanation . We end up cancelling the contract and lost around $11000 out of our preliminary and 5% deposit and only got back $9750 . This happend because they told us about more money day or two from start of construction. By telling us earlier whole situation could be avoided but guess what thats their trick to pocket more money from people because feel traped after giving them preliminary and 5% deposit. Last but not least they also didnt provide us with a termination letter as requested by bank and us mulitple times.

Warning :Do not use this company – Moved 17 months ago.Still have not had 6-month defects check, still have blue tape on the house. Big hole under kitchen sink cabinet, talking about fixing it, just talk. bricks uneven spacing between bricks- looks terrible; main door frame defect, so many more defects that will never be fixed by company. unprofessional, and extremely poor with their time management. I would NEVER recommend this company, in a million years. [Name Removed], [Name Removed] and [Name Removed] are extremely rude, and unhelpful. Our build has taken OVER a year and a half, and is still not finished. We have gone through an enormous amount of site supervisors, whom have all been nothing but useless. We were told that many site supervisors had been fired, or had left in a short period of time. Speaks volumes on this companies values. We sought a second opinion from an independent contractor, and they said how awful Fresh Homes' work was. DO NOT USE FRESH HOMES. Fresh Homes caused us and many people to be homeless, due to their negligence. When informed of this, the lack of compassion was absolutely abhorrent. The office manager, is the most unkind, unprofessional and awful human being on the planet, with the worlds biggest God complex. The rest are the same. When informed that we have items outstanding to finalise our build, we were gaslit and told that “there is nothing left to finalise”. Our unfinished bathroom and lack of tile grout would beg to differ. Their contractors that they hire constantly flake out, are unavailable, and have the hand-eye-coordination similar to Stevie Wonder.

This whole process has been heartbreaking, all we ever wanted was our build finished “defect free, on time, guaranteed”. Instead we were met with constant cattiness, unreliable contractors, told that there’s “nothing we can do”. We have had to find our own contractors to “help” Fresh Homes finish OUR build.

I urge all potential clients to read the reviews on this company before signing with these idiots. I would recommend Fresh Homes if you like to be spoken to as if you’re a child, poor, love to argue with receptionists with nothing better to do, and if you love the added stress of visiting your build after promises that the next step would be completed, to find nothing has been done.

No issue was a problem for our site manager Alex, whose work ethic and expectation that his tradies deliver a high standard of finish, resulted in the home having only a few minor defects and being completed two months ahead of contract completion date. a weekly update on what would happen in the coming week as well as what had been completed in the week previous. I was also updated on lost time due to inclement weather, nothing anyone can do about that, and any impact that it would have on the finish date. The part that really did it for me was my home being completed well before the due date! It also came in on budget. Alex the site foreman is great to deal with....I use present tense as he has rung since I've taken delivery to make sure everything is fine. Great down to earth bloke to deal with who does follow things through. As I sit here typing I look around at my home and think....how lucky am I. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Fresh Homes to anyone thinking of building.

Never build with this company! – Originally we thought the building process with Fresh Homes was seamless. 5 years later we realised the build was not to standard, causing our foundations to sink more than acceptable limits. building Site Supervisor Alex Lopez was exceptional with seamless transition between trades, achieving little or no delays between the stages in construction and completing it as soon as possible. Before, during and after the build this company really stood out with the way in which they continually worked to ensure the delivery of our home was timely and most certainly of a very high standard. Our supervisor was professional, courteous and reliable. His experience was invaluable during the build as it helped us to take possession of the most amazing home we have ever built.

The quality of our build was in our opinion extremely well done with everyhthing from the slab to the final fixtures and fittings bringing together a home which exceeded our expectations and most defintely was in keeping with our original vision of what we wanted.

In terms of pricing, we were very happy with the pricing of our home and the final figures were spot in with no surprises. Any additional costs incurred were a result of us asking for something more and we were more than happy to spend this money as the confidence we hold in Fresh Homes is now and will always be very high.

with the site cut. They had to cut slab to reposition the plumbing pipes. After doing all the mistakes they didn't rectify the slab according to engineer instructions. We did independent inspectors inspection, he found major structural issues with frames and brick laying. They are fixing all the mistakes very slowly. We should have practical completion by end of April according to contract. But it's not going to happen now because they couldn't even finish lock up stage yet. And we are not the only one who is having all these issues. Building with Fresh Homes is just wasting of time and money.

After complaining to QBCC, they said they are going to fix all the mistakes. But they are so slow and still so many mistakes. We just finished 3rd stage. After that no progress at all. They don't apologies for their mistakes. We still don't know when they will give the handover.

I want to warn everyone be careful if you want to build with Fresh Homes. They are very bad and poor quality of work and no supervision of work at all. Maybe Fresh homes was good in 2016 according to some of the recent reviews but not anymore.

Wouldn't recommend any one, low build quality – We built our home with them with home and land package finished in June 2017. At the very beginning their service was good but when time of handover came they appeared different. We refused to take hand over because paint job was terrible (list of few other things too). You can tell the difference between our previous home (different building company) with rendering that had mud wasps always building nests it it, walls that dint with a single touch, cracking walls and paint that was fraying from the skirting boards compared to our new home with its smooth rendered surface excellent quality plastering, a design that has been combed over with a fine tooth comb to ensure no faults in the building structure and a very very clean job site! We are beyond impressed!

the most Tania helped us modify it so it turned into one we loved! We customised many aspects of our new home which made it truly our own. We had a price we didn’t want to exceed so any extras we wanted that might tip us over Tania pointed out other price-reducing modifications to help us balance the scale, so we could include the aspects we loved. Once we had the floor plan, we needed a block to suit; we knew the general area we wanted to be in and Tania used her extensive knowledge of the suburb to find us not only the best suited block, but the best deal for it too.

Jesse and I bank with different companies and when it came time to finding a lender we were torn, Tania set up a meeting with the lender we would ultimately go through. Lucky from NAB was able to get us the best arrangement that suited us and our lifestyle perfectly.

Jesse works away a lot, Lucky and Tania worked together to ensure we had everything in order when Jesse was here so we could sign all the necessary documents and get everything away, meeting every deadline we faced.

Tania was transparent through the whole process and worked tirelessly to make sure we loved everything we picked.

The whole Fresh Homes team made the build experience an easy one, with weekly updates and multiple contact points if we ever needed anything, we were able to have access to our house at every stage of the build. All of the materials are great quality and I am overly in love with our taps! It went so smoothly we were in a month and a half before the initial expected completion date.

We couldn’t be happier with a gorgeous first home that suits us and our lifestyle perfectly.

October 6th 2016 Update: 2nd Review - Fresh Homes - Excellent Quality & Built ahead the schedule.

Once again Fresh Homes proven that excellent builder in Brisbane. Our Home is progressing very well with excellent quality & Workmanship. We are strongly recommended Fresh homes because not only the Quality & Ahead Schedule and also as on now there is no variation in the project except our addition. As on now everything has been handled so professionally. We will update another review in next month.
