Purchase date of Asta24LCC – I have purchased a 2nd hand ASTA24LCC from a refrigeration mechanic to heat up my garage in winter and was curious if you could date it's original purchase date for me based on it's serial No: E019122 Thank you for any assistance you can provide. Show details ·  1

Has done its job for 16 years – Can't really fault this air conditioner in this time. The only issue I have is the louvres aren't opening and closing properly for last 4 years. I'm only here as I was looking for the dimensions of the unit. As I do want to upgrade. I would go for fujitsu again though I want an air cond with an air purify. Though, does the fujitisu air cond filtration negate the need for this option? Show details ·  1

Excellent product – I have had two of this particular model air conditioner plus 2 other Fujitsus in my home for over 12 years - AND a 5th one I had installed into a granny flat on my property about 6 years ago. One of the 2.6 aircons was taken out in an electrical storm about 2 years ago. For the 10 years leading up to that event the unit had worked perfectly (I… Read more ·  1

replaced it with another Fujitsu). The other 4 have always worked brilliantly and continue to do so. I am very happy with these products.

Its causing loud rattling noise - Absolute disappointed!! – I bought a new Fujitusu ASTA12LCC, a disaster and has been producing very loud rattling noise (not the normal wind sound). The noise is at such a level that it sounds like I have a mower running in my bed room! Very disappointed about the quality of Fujitusu airconditioning. Show details

The one stop lesson in what NOT to buy EVER! – Had since new. Every unit needed warranty work every year for all 5 years of warranty, sometimes more than once. Warranty parts had to be sent from down south causing down time to range between 2-4 weeks (not good in a Darwin wet season). Faults were inside and outside control units, also inside core temp sensor failures. Only have one left that I… Read more

keep going with the parts I get off the 3 I’ve replaced with another brand. It’s a good thing you can’t really buy these anymore so people are saved from what I went through. Brand name totally shot with me and I recommend avoiding this brand to anyone I speak to about it.

Works flawlessly!! – Works flawlessly - it was in the house when I bought it, been here 6 years, so not entirely sure of the age (looks a bit aged) but it works 100% every time - even in 44°!! I’m in a 5 day heatwave in Perth now and it’s been pumping 24/7 without a single hiccup! Can’t complain with that!! Show details ·  1

Major failure after 7 years – I have two reverse cycle units in our house. The first was a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) in the Rumpus room which is heavily used and is still working as well as the day it was installed over 9 years or so ago. The second (in the lounge and used much less frequently) was the Fujitsu ASTA24LCC which now has a failed compressor after 7 years… Read more

(so its outside of warranty). The repair quote is close to $1200 so instead I will be replacing it with new Mitsubishi Heavy Industries reverse cycle air conditioner. The Mitsubishi Heavy also has a better coefficient of performance than the Fujitsu at the higher energy outputs. (I believe I purchased the Fujitsu because at that time MHI did not go up to 7.4kW.)

This product has should be recalled and new units should be replaced free of cost – Cooling stops and lights flash have to reset runs for little while then the same problem. Going on for years. Had techs to check unable to fix since fault intermittent. Contacted fijitsu the authorized agents wanted $195 for diagnosing. Further charges for parts and labour. The unit was easy to operate. The installation was good. The unit was very quiet in operation until it started to break down.  Show details

Love it – No problems with installation and has given me around 5years good service. I have just bought 2 more of the E3 models. Good so far. Having had many different brands in various motels I would certainly rate them ahead of Mitsubishi, a little ahead of Panasonic, better value for money than Daiken, and wouldn't even consider the cheapies

Fujitsu Free Money Agree free money promotion not quite right – I too agree Fujitsu make it so hard for you to claim for their free money (which in fact is not money at all) The terms and conditions as others have said are in so small print that its not funny. similar to what I have said.

Promotions are designed to promote a companies image well the image that fujitsu are projecting is nothing but that of a company trying to mislead.

When you speak to the company they employ to run the promotion you get spoken down to with comments like those are the instructions we are given by the promoter.

The ACCC agree with my complaints and state that they have received numerous calls from disgruntle consumers.

I have met every condition on their hard to read conditions page and after sending so many copies of invoices and payment details it is still pending months later. I think they hope you give up and go away.

The air con units are great pity the marketing department within the company is not the same.

Bad customer relations all around Nothing about the promotion Just about everything.

Fujitsu Free Money - What a joke! – My husband & I recently purchased 3 x Fujitsu Split Systems and duly placed our claim for the Fujitsu free Money. purchase was made, my husbands credit card and he made the purchase. Since then spoke to the 'free money validators' and was instructed to email some correspondence that showed both names at current address, Done & dusted I thought....NO, another email from 'validators' asking for a copy of my credit card statement. Not likely! Was advised that yes, they had a copy of the invoice from Harvey Norman, yes, they had a copy of the paid in full credit card receipt, yes, they had received 2 items of correspondence with both my husband & my name on but apparently not good enough to honour the promotion. It appears to me that they use the promo to suck you in and then waste soooo much of your time trying to get the claim sorted that you give up the will to live and say forget it. Beware Fujitsu free money! I've been waiting for two apparently 'expedited' phone calls back from Fujistu with no response. I quite frankly, will never purchase a Fujitsu product again. Not because there is an issue with the product but because their is an issue with the Fujitsu integrity

Not bad – My wife and I bought one of these and got it installed in our room. The unit isn't too bad and really does the job. I do recommend keeping a bowl of water open near by when using the heater option, as it prevents the room from getting too dry. reliable, energy efficient messy process to get the cash back offer and still waiting for it

Excellent – I have the ASTA30LCC model. Quiet indoors & out & efficient at heating & cooling. Would buy again. Running costs seem to be acceptable with only pleasant surprises in my power bill. unit is very quiet although I have never had the fan on high I just put it on auto. Thermostat is accurate and what you set is what you get. Purchased primarily for cooling I use the heating function occasionally and it is equally efficient, quiet, and quick. The (large) outdoor unit sounds very quiet to me. I have to get up close (within a metre) to hear that it is working and I live in the country so ambient noise is relatively low. It is rated at 69Db. I would purchase this brand again based on my experience to date. None that I have experienced so far. There is always the question of Futisu warranty service, should it be required. I have heard stories from installers (3) that were not complimentary, but they were not ranked worst with LG ranking taking that "prize" and Daikin having the best service, so take this into account.

Powerful, efficient, and quiet – We had one ASTA18LCC installed in a 25 m2 room, with two open doors (no doors), with heating as the main purpose. We find it runs very efficient judging from the on-line electricity monitor reading (cent-a-meter). I estimate that once the target temp is reached, it only consumes 150-200 watts. Note we set temp around 18-19C in winte). The… Read more

outdoor unit installed on the other side of the room runs very quietly (i.e. never heard anything inside), especially when we compare it with a noisy Fujitsu ARTC54LATU ducted unit installed next to it.

I would recommend Fujitsu split system to others, but I'd prefer a Daikin ducted system that installed in my dad's place. Powerful, efficient, and quiet The indoor unit design can be improved

Fujitsu reliability – I purchased 2 of these units after having similar models in another house . These units seem to be alot smaller size wise compared with other units on the Market which is a bonus not having a huge outdoor unit. I find the fujitsu a fairly good unit, although being an inverter it seems to take about 5 minutes before it's at it's maximum capacity.… Read more

Excellent – The Fujitsu was recommended to us over other brands by our installer for its efficiency and reliability compared to other brands (and no, he didn't get any commissions from Fujitsu). Great cooling and heating function, easy and straightforward to use, has a sleep function that gradually turns the unit off as you sleep (so it doesn't keep going overnight but you can go to sleep with it on), will heat and cool large areas. The outside unit was installed on the outside wall right near our bedhead and it can be noisy at night.

Excellent – This unit replaced an almost new Kelvinator unit which was very noisy inside. The Kelvinator replaced an old OMNI which gave good service and was quiet. factor. This unit just blends in with the background level on the lower settings, it positions automatically - in cooling - the direction blades above the sitting position so you don`t get blasted with cold air. According to my electrical usage meter, its low on its power consumption too. It cost a bit more but I`m really satisfied, and consider its worth it. This is for the ASTA24LCC.Inside unit is really quiet. Outside unit is small.Cools well, and doesn`t use much power.
