Hi, my elderly parents are about to move into a retirement village with one of these models installed. Just wondering if this will be the most efficient heating/cooling system for them (small 2brm house) or would they be better installing a new Fujitsu split system for their heating & cooling? I always think of roof ducting as more expensive to run(but could be wrong)? Cheers

10kw ducted Airconditioning review
Hi Helen, Thank you for providing your review.
how to make it heat up the house really quickly
Hi Barry please make sure all doors and windows are closed. In the case of a ducted system check your damper positions and isolate the areas which aren't required. Six tips for efficiently staying warm this winter: The right temperature for your air conditioning. During the winter months, your air conditioner should sit between 19°C to 21°C. Your energy use increases by 5-10 per cent for every degree you increase heating.[2] Only heat the rooms you’re using. Warming up every room in your house, including those not in use, can be costly. By closing the doors to the unused areas of your home, like bedrooms, bathrooms, the study, and the laundry, you won’t have to keep your air conditioning on for as long, and the heat will stay in the part of the house you are using for longer. Draught proof the gaps. The small gaps under your doors and around your windows, skylights, and cornices let hot air out. By using draught stoppers and weather seals to minimise the amount of air that escapes, you can reduce your energy bill by up to 25 percent. 2 Turn on the fan. Some fans also have winter settings to help push the air downwards and improve heating efficiency. If you have ceiling fans turn them on to winter mode and a low setting to help move the hot air around the room and warm it up faster. If you aren’t using it, turn it off. Leaving your air conditioning running while you aren’t at home or when you’re asleep is unnecessary. Turning your air conditioner, and other appliances, off when they aren’t in use can save you money on your electricity bill. Fujitsu General air conditioners have timers and sleep mode features to help manage this, so you don’t have to worry about forgetting. If you have left the home and forgotten to turn your air conditioner off, Fujitsu General also has the anywAiR® technology Wi-Fi device that enables you to turn the air conditioner off remotely anytime anywhere using the myanywAiR app. See external link for compatible models. Roll out a rug. For living areas with tiles or floorboards, putting a rug down can help you feel warmer by preventing you from having to walk on a cold surface. A rug can be a better choice than carpet because it’s removable and can be stored in the summer months. If you have any questions or would like to know more about air conditioning options to keep your house warm this winter, contact Fujitsu General Assist on 1300 364 484 to speak to a member of our friendly customer service team.

Technician says caused by "lightning strike" despite no rain or lightning in area on that day..Last time cost over $7000 through insurance luckily, but this time insurance company believing previous repairer with the lightning story and wanting $1000-00 excess for my claim again..is this a problem with this model as it seems that many posts about this problem??

Hi there, For a 4 bedroom house (195m2) and 6 EER ,how many KW do I need? What's the maximum Kw in Fujitsu air conditioners for a single phase?
HI Nick thanks for your question on Product Review. For areas larger than 65m2, please contact your local Fujitsu Dealer to discuss the right solution for you, e.g. two or more Fujitsu split systems, a multi-head unit or even a ducted system, to ensure your Fujitsu comfort needs are met. For single-phase please see on our website ARTG60LHTB - 15.8kW(C)/18.0kW(H) ARTG60LDTA - 15.8kW(C)/ 18.0kW(H) For further details please visit our website external link
What is the difference between single phase and three phase for efficiency, capacity and cooling ability?
Hi Rossofbalmain, the Single phase is a single power supply 240v/ac whereas three-phase is three lines of 240v/per phase to neutral and 415v/ac between phases. Main benefit of 3 phase against single-phase would be 3 phase spreads the amperage at startup and run, drawing fewer amps than a single-phase, leading to lower costs due to lower amp draw. To discuss this further please call our Technical Support team on Tel: 1300 364 484 and they will happily chat to you.
I had an ARTG54LHTC installed. The documentation shows a menu item "RC Sensor Control", but my controller does not have this menu. It is essential that I make the controller use the thermostat in the remote controller, because the roof temperature causes the return air thermostat to read to high. What can I do?
Hi Johan, You will have to enter the function settings on the controller by turning the system off at the controller. Then enable function settings, 00:42:01 enter then 00:48:01 enter. Exit function settings and isolate the power supply for 1 minute. Restart the system. If you have any trouble with this, you can contact our Fujitsu Assist Technical Support on 1300 364 484 and they will happily assist you.
Thanks for the response. It has not helped yet. Please provide more details. My exact RC is the"backlit controller" as described on external link . The part that is not clear is how to enter those numbers. There is no such option and I have consulted YouTube and asked the supplier/installer to assist, so it is certainly not obvious. I suspect your advice relates to an older model.
Hi Johan, as each remote is different are you able to contact us and one of our technicians can talk you through the process? Alternatively, if you provide your number they will call you.
