Just came back from a wonderful sojourn with the Fun over 50 green getaway tour. While one of the tours was disappointing, overall it was great combination of eco friendly and informative tours to pique your interest for the duration of the tour. Would highly recommend Fun over fifty holiday tours Show details

Funstars Fun Over 50s Murray Riverina Region I cannot say enough positive things about this tour. After leaving Brisbane towards Goondiwindi and then into the mid west of NSW and zigzagging over the Murray River into Victoria. The tour host Michelle and driver Simon gave us a trip to remember - such a great combination. I would go on another trip… Read more
with them tomorrow. Information, laughter, sing-along, and many tours in most towns. We learnt so much on this tour and we had been to many of these 8places before without a tour. I highly recommend Fun Over 50s tours. You just get on the bus and no need to worry about a thing. Food accommodation, tours - all included.

We have just returned from the Murray and Darling River Rendezvous Diamond Coach Tour. We had a amazing comprehensive tour of NSW. We had a fantastic group of people on board and a exceptional coach captain and hostess. The local guides who joined us on board were very informative and entertaining. stopping at a lovely park or stream.A meals were excellent. Very hard to pick a memorable tour or attraction that we visited as they were all very good in their own right, but Lightning Ridge, Broken Hill and Ned Kelly at Glenrowan were a standout for us. Simon and Michelle were our driver and hostess and they were exceptional in every way. Everything went smoothly every day and nothing wasn't to much trouble for them to help you if you had a problem. I would highly recommend "FUN OVER FIFTY " very professional start to finish. A lot of new friends was made and a lot of fun had." Funstars"

well organised, relaxed, friendly, and full of laughs. Every day brought something different — beautiful scenery, great food, interesting places, wildlife encounters, and plenty of fun on the coach.
A huge thank you to our amazing Tour Host Lyndall, who somehow managed to keep us all organised while still making the trip feel relaxed and enjoyable. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her sense of humour kept the whole bus smiling
And of course, a massive thank you to Mark, our Coach Captain, who handled the big coach with skill, patience, and a calm smile — even during the important daily coffee-and-cake expeditions ☕
Some of our highlights included: The stunning autumn colours in Bright ️ The paddlewheel cruise on the Nepean Belle Visiting the Red Stag Deer Farm Winery visits and beautiful country towns ☕ The many “essential” café stops The daily laughs and bus banter
But one of my absolute favourite moments was meeting an incredibly friendly emu during one of the wildlife visits. I’m still not entirely convinced it didn’t try to join the tour and steal my seat on the bus It became one of those hilarious holiday moments everyone kept talking about afterwards.
What really made the trip special though was the atmosphere. By the end of the tour it felt more like travelling with a group of friends than being on a coach tour. Everyone looked out for each other, shared stories, and had a great time together.
Michelle and I would happily travel with Fun Over 50 Holidays again and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a fun, relaxed, and memorable holiday experience.
Now that we’re home, the suitcases are unpacked, the washing has begun… and the bathroom scales are quietly judging us after all the holiday desserts
Great trip… but it is good to be home!

After a conversation with my mum regarding the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, it was coming to Brisbane starting on the 12th February, we decided to take the opportunity to join the Fun over 50's Tour, I kept this from my husband until the night before we left for Brisbane yep almost 12 months, we caught the bus to Brisbane from Toowoomba and… Read more
waited for our tour bus to arrive, we meet the lovely host Lyndall and our driver the handsome Greg, needless to say we felt a bit under aged as the group were 70's- 93 we were definitely the pups of the tour but Lyndall and our tour groupies (yes very much young at heart) made us feel welcome even some of the ladies took my husband under their wing it was funny to watch, thank you ladies, we took on the sites of Brisbane at Mount Cootha and lunch at La Vue waterfront Restaurant, lunch was a fine dining experience first time, then to our night stay at the Rydges Fortitude Valley, the rooms very spacious, large 2 shower, and the bed well I googled when I got home to find out what it was (Rydge Dream bed - AH Beard) if we could have put it in our suit case we would have bought it home definitely lives up to its name, just check the fridge to see if they left you milk for a cuppa, the night's performance at Suncorp The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, is a must see, the tour group were all in corporate boxes kept us dry from all the rain with drinks and canapes provided, I must say that I was disappointed with the canapes and we did leave rather hungry by the end of the night, but this did not take way from the nights performances, highland dancers, bag pipes (goose bumps) and my highlight was the secret drummers they are in a league of their own, all performer were remarkable and to carry on during the rain was remarkable, to have someone else organise everything makes it enjoyable and stress free, Lyndall also enjoyed the night but making sure we were all ok and if we wanted anything, maybe a chance to check out the souvenirs could be an option next time, but if they are back again next year we are going again but with the mother in law, then back to Rydges for a really good night sleep (yep we slept in) our morning was a buffet breakfast which we had to book a table, then to South Bank for some time out, most of the groupies took the Brisbane wheel, then off for our final lunch at the Greek club, drinks and dancing everyone left healthy no hips out, so much fun and we also had a few laughs, then it was time to come back to reality. So with all my rambling the whole experience I must say a BIG THANKYOU to Lyndall, Greg and the whole Fun over 50's organisers, we thoroughly enjoyed our first tour and my husband is still raving about how much he enjoyed himself, so come on you 51-60 year old come on and give it a go there needs to be more of us come and be a pup.
Peter and I have just returned from another amazing Fun Over Fifty's tour to K'Gari, Hibiscus Coast and Whitsunday Wonder. Both worked exceptionally well together and every detail was attended and nothing seemed to be too much… Read more
trouble. Our first stop was for 2 nights on K'Gari. First tick off the bucket list! Amazing day touring the island in a 4WD with a very knowledgeable guide who was passionate about the island. Stopping at the Sarina Sugar Shed for lunch and a tour and Tasting was very enjoyable. Further along the coast we were up very early to head down to Cape Hillsborough for a special treat, seeing the sunrise with the wallabies feeding on the beach. That was a truly special moment and worth getting up early for. A second tick off the bucket list! Travelling along to the Whitsundays we stopped at the Croc Safari, a truly unique experience. Not like the usual touristy croc tours. This was seeing the crocs in their natural environment. Later we were treated to a lovely BBQ lunch. Well worth the visit. Another bucket list ticked off was our full day tour of the Whitsunday Islands before anchoring off Whitehaven Beach where our fun stars were able to alight a tender to be taken across to the beach for a swim or to explore the island. All to quickly our holiday was over and we were driven to Mackay airport for our flight home. Peter commented to me that he thought that was the best tour that we had been on because of the combination our fantastic Crew, our fellow funstars , and the places that we visited. Looking forward to our 10th trip with Fun Over Fifty;s.

Murray and Darling River Rendezvous - 13 Day Fun over 50 Coach Tour – On a cool Brisbane morning 20 Funstars gathered at the Coach Terminal waiting for a large Gold Fun over 50 coach, with our Tour Guide and Coach Captain for the next 13 days. Leanne bounced out of the coach and introduced herself as our guide and her husband Chris as our driver We were all a little nervous but soon made to feel at ease with… Read more
Leanne’s bubbly personality. With our name badges prominently displayed we soon introduced ourselves and started to find those similarities and differences that bind a group. We relaxed completely in the coach as we realized Chris’s competence behind the wheel assured us we’d have a safe trip. Leanne soon put us at ease too, but the professionalism behind the banter convinced us that she knew her job. She set the scene with her thought for the day, sometimes funny, sometimes poignant. A clear and concise plan for the day followed. It’s been very reassuring that while Leanne and Chris are dedicated to keeping to their itinerary, they’re also very adept at squeezing an extra few minutes into our day and surprising us with an added but unplanned adventure. Thank goodness for their ability to think on their feet too, with unexpected last minute changes dealt with expeditiously. Their friendship has been another unexpected pleasure. None of the care and concern for us has been forced; it’s easily seen that their comments and actions have come from their hearts. How reassuring to know that they had our backs and any problems we had were addressed promptly. The care is there but so is the professionalism and for relative beginners in this job, they’ve found their niche. I hope their employers realize what diamonds they have found. Thankyou Chris and Leanne for making the trip such a pleasure for my husband and me (and our 18 travelling companions). There’s been many highlights on this trip and I’ve seen so many new places but I don’t think I’ll ever forget my first trip around the Bathurst circuit in that beautiful big Gold coach. Thanks for starting out as out Tour Guide and Coach Captain but finishing as our friends.

Recently did my 1st trip with this company and must say their name says it all. I have done coach tours with other companies but this one is the best so far. Driver and Tour Guide were both excellent and went above and beyond to ensure a great time was had by all. I highly recommend Fun over 50 and look forward to travelling with them again. Show details
Your infectious medical alert itinerary is excellent if it is carried out. However on my trip it was ignored. A male passenger had a very loud sickening phlegmy cough (most unpleasant to be seated near) day after day. It took very little time before spreading to others. I am upset and disappointed that my trip was spoilt by such circumstances . … Read more

I have just returned from The Ghan Expedition Darwin to Adelaide July 2025. The trip exceeded my expectations and was truly a lot of fun. So many activities and attractions to see, all unforgettable. Our tour host was very knowledgeable and humorous. Show details
Follow-up · Tips for first-time travellers are pack lightly. There’s storage in the cabin but a bag too big would be problematic. I took a carry on size bag and a shoulder bag. Pack layers for temperature fluctuations. Our host was a lot of fun with a good sense of humour. His knowledge of different areas was exceptional. The most memorable activity was dinner under the stars in Alice.
Just returned from Darwin, Kakadu, The Kimberley & Broome Tour and absolutely enjoyed it, Coach Captain Chris and Tour Host Leanne made this tour unforgettable and very enjoyable, also we had a great group of FOF's to travel with.
