I haven’t been able to use mine due to not being able to get the small screw out to put the batteries in.
I need a carpet shampooer or steamer vac to use regularly in my home, I am trying to get something that I can control water outlet and has great sucking force. Budget is very low, house traffic high and I need to desperately clean/shampoo/steam the carpets weekly and vacuum daily as well with timber floors need daily vac and three times a week mop, have researched until I am going insane, anyone who doesn't have interest in profiting by sale of machine please direct me with some kind and knowledgeable advice keeping in mind money is an issue, there isn't any and will have to pay off whatever is purchased....thank you.

Hi , might be hard to get hold off but I would suggest an old model Vax spin scrub. Ive had both gravity fed and pump (prefer gravity 1991). My current 1 is now 12 years old . 3 kids,3 Golden Retrievers countless birds ,cats and wildlife and an Army hubby (mud). Was a blessing through Townsville flood. Used daily with maintenance (keep it clean) should do what you want except steam. I do not work for Vax Im a retired Army Medic.
