I've been with them for just under 2 years, and the best internet I could hope for. They do as they promise, and the speed is so reliable. The AAPT backbone they use obviously is a clear step above the standard residential NBN competition.
It does a family of 4 Video streaming both ways - haven't had a bottleneck.
And I love the local support you speak to real people. It is only office hours - but you never need to call them as it just works

Reliable connection. I am a low data user (250GB/month average) and prefer fast download AND upload speeds for a reasonable price. Future Broadband does provide this service.
Any downtime (which does not happen often) is usually caused by BNB Co

Having previously been with ABB and Superloop, I switched to FBB on their 1000/50 NBN plan via FTTP. I have now been with them about 9 months. They offer unlimited plans as well as plans with data-banking which is a really cool idea.
The service has been rock solid throughout. I average around 915/45 speeds, even during peak times. I honestly could not fault it. The “business-grade” network that differs them from other providers is fantastic.

Read moreeliable the connection is (screenshot attached). For anyone looking into NBN providers, Future Broadband is a great small, local company that really cares about its customers. Their customer service is miles ahead of the big telcos and the network performance for me, was even slightly better than the well known Aussie Broadband and Superloop. Before you sign up, have a look on the Whirlpool forums and the Ozbargain site for sign-up specials and referral codes that will effectively waive the $35 setup fee and give you a slight discount.- Value for Money

Been with future broadband for 2 months now. So far so good. Using TPG as their upstream and told "business service" has proved true so far. Less latency variance compared to AussieBroadband. My speeds are more consistent and higher throughout the day and peak. Upload speeds are defiantly more higher and pinned to the peak speed I take out (1000/50).
Moving in 2 months to FTTP connection and will take out their 1000/400 $360 Unlimited connection.
I have no problem recommending them to anyone, you pay a little extra on the lower tier plans, but their Perth customer service picks up in seconds if you need them and their service delivers, not to mention the free static IP, IPv6 and other tools suited to the home business.

Pros -
static public ip, /30 network
pay-as-you-go type of plan
"business grade" tpg network
excellent support when needed (I rang to check out cut-over time).
reverse dns
Cons -
International latency is a tad higher than my previous ISP, but I can live with it as packet loss is lower for the sites I often.
fist hop ping is 2ms lower, but for some reasons it seems to fluctuate a bit more that my previous ISP.

I've been with FBB for well over a year now and I cannot speak highly enough of them.
The service has been rock solid for most of the time, and when I have had issues, issues have been resolved in minutes in most cases.
Their level 1 support staff are very knowledgeable and I've only had to escalate to level 2 support once - although the problem ended up being with NBN and not FBB in that case.
I value customer service and reliability equally, and FBB are my #1 choice NBN provider.

FBB provides great solid internet, for a great price. Almost any configuration for any need. A small amount of technical knowledge may be required to set it up, but the team at FBB are great at helping anyone through and getting it going.

I've got multiple NBN connections - one for home and one for my business.
I've been jumping between providers for years with the Aussie Broadband being the dominate choice. Overall, the speed was always consistent but there were regular outages. Never really cared too much for the home connection but when you're trying to deal with clients and "need" an internet connection, having it randomly drop-out during the middle of the day wasn't ideal. This was a frequent occurrence. At first I thought it was my hardware, so I went out and replaced it ...
Read moreall including modem and router. It made no difference. A little bit of back and forth between Aussie Broadband and SuperLoop over the years but still it never seemed quite right. While switching to SuperLoop solved the drop-out issues, speed and latency issues occurred, especially during peak periods. After switching to and from ABB and SL multiple times, it was time to try something else. This is where Future Broadband comes in.- Value for Money

I am with Future Broadband for almost 6 months now.
Pretty boring internet connection. Speed always stays the same, link does not go down, no support call. Hey, that's how our internet connection should be, like getting water from the tap, it always works.
These guys do not advertise much, but definitely deserve a pat on their back for providing such a reliable service.
They also have a referral program which you can use to avoid setup cost, which I received from someone in this forum and used it and have one with me to spare.

It's taken a whole month to hook up the service but I understand it's delays from supplier's technician in addition to the delays from giving me the modem.
I appreciate I am dealing with humans locally instead of overseas call centres after all.

I wanted a Perth based ISP.
Future Broadband ticked all my boxes with good prices and all local staff.
Setup was quick and simple and very helpful.
My evening speeds are always quite close to what I'm paying for.
Recommended.

Recently churned from AussieBB due to price hike on a NBN 100 plan. It is a couple of $ cheaper than what I was paying before the hike.
The portal and setup isn't as polished as AussieBB, but I'm a techy so don't mind.
Had an NBN fault Christmas eve at 8pm and Future BB support passed on the fault to NBN Co almost immediately, with my service restored later that night. Top service!!!
Would recommend to anyone.

Had organised a switch to Future Broadband (FB) for next month, but current ISP managed to completely stuff everything up (including the FB NBN order) but cancelling the account a month early. FB were able to initiate a new request and get me connected by the end of the day.
The team is completely responsive and will actually assist customers, via phone or chat.
The plan is cheap. The tech specs are great. The data caps are basically "unlimited". Wish I'd found them earlier.
There is a single con: WA daytime support only, no 24/7.

Moved over from Aussie to Future to save some $$. Speeds seem good so far, and I don't have to pay extra for the faster upload.
I think their plans work out to be really good value for the speeds you get. Does cost $55 to join but grab a referral code from a current member saves $35 and gets you 1000GB free. Then make more savings in the long run with cheaper plans and pre-pay discounts.

Recently moved over to Future after my old RSP (Aussie) advised my plan would be going up $25 / month if I wished to stay on same speed and data level. Shopped about and found Future ticked all the boxes. have been wint them a week after a seamless transition and performance is great. No drop outs and full speed 24/7. Highly recommend

Does the connection connect to TPG Brisbane backhaul directly? I live in Brisbane.
Should do. They use AAPT/TPG which will peer in every city.
So far speeds and latency has been better than Aussie Broadband.
AAPT/TPG are the weak link. I switched over to Future Broadband. They are OK to deal with but at the mercy of AAPT/TPG who stuffed things up with my sign on. AAPT/TPG were in no hurry to fix things.
