the owner said to the NSW Fair Trading that he advised me that upon assessment your phone has a fault with the logic board and is not viable for repairs. Mr Connolly mentioned he may have been able to obtain another logic board, and this is why your phone was in pieces. [Name Removed] is telling lies.
I had told him not to do any more work and that I had arranged to pickup the phone from him in dec 2024, but when i got there it was in pieces.joke I have had to wait for him to inform me when it was ready but as at 30 jan 2023 no response. I have sent him an email to tell me when is put back together so I can pick it up and to give me a tax invoice.

Never go to gadget doctor – The motto of the story do not use this company for any of your electronic repairs. Very rude and damaged the screen – First the guy has no manners. Made a complete mess of putting a screen protector on my Samsung Fold 4. Tuesday. When I rang on Tuesday asking when I could pick up my IPad he told there were more jobs more important than mine and I will get my IPad back when he got round to it, he was very abusive , told me to f..k off and hung up on me. I rang back and asked for my money back and my IPad he again told me to f..k off- fantastic customer service ! I did pick up my IPad and pay way over the top, however, I would never use Gadget again and highly recommend no one else does either.

Worst service and incompetence ever – The only thing that Shane excels in is aggression and arrogance. They had my hard drive for months and still didn't repair it, but still charged me. Totally useless and a ripoff as well.

FAULTY TOWERS!! Shameless – Dropped off iMac on Jan 24, there was a problem with the startup/boot process. the Mac for over 5wks and all they had done was turn it on (classed as tech work so no refund on deposit) I checked on progress weekly by phone and was always understanding and patient with the myriad of excuses I was being fed. But by yesterday I had had enough of it, I called and said I’d be picking up the computer a taking it elsewhere (MYTECH - highly recommend). When I arrived, they couldn’t find it , which is understandable as the workshop is an absolute disaster area - customer equipment pulled apart and in bits and pieces everywhere - on the floors, spilling off shelves and tables etc When they finally found it , they told me that it couldn’t be fixed . Out right lies by the two women at the front counter trying to cover their skins. The work shop guys hadn’t even opened up the casing to clean it , their tech guy was able to boot from backup 3weeks previous (classed as work so no refund) - if it in fact was unfixable they should have called for me to collect. That’s what a normal business would do. Anyway - long story short. I picked the Mac up from Gadget Dr at 3:15 after 5wks of incompetence, dropped it to [Name Removed] from MYTECH at 3:30pm yesterday. I received a phone call at 9:30am this morning from [Name Removed], the computer has been upgraded to SSD 250G , free fire wall, fans and internal hardware cleaned and all dust removed from within the casing and is ready for collecting. $330 [Name Removed] took less than 24hrs and produced a far superior outcome and customer service than Gadget Doctor could dream of. Gadget Doctor your team and Services are shameful.

Absolutely abysmal – Can’t tell anyone enough not to come here. Put my laptop in to be fixed. Did not reply to messages and were rude on the phone when I tried to follow up after a few weeks. A month later was given a call telling me my laptop had been stolen. They had informed me weeks after the break and enter had occurred. Slow, expensive, and very poor customer service – I had a similar experience to most of the other reviews, which I really wish I'd read before I used this place. Their communication skills are zero, they're very disorganised (not ordering parts etc.) so you're continually chasing them, and they are much more expensive than most other places. Oh yes, and they're really rude.

It took them a month to even look at my laptop and then realised it needed a part that would take 2 weeks to arrive. Apart from a phone call on the day they realised they needed a new part, I had to chase them for updates. I called on two occasions and both times was told he'd call me back in 30 minutes. He never did. So to get any answers, I had to go in to the store and each time there was an excuse why it wasn't done yet and to come back next week.
So today was the last straw. I just took back my laptop and will have to find somewhere else to fix it now.
Disgusted and appalled at this whole experience. You've been warned!

I said I never asked for the screen to be replaced and actually had a line of people eager to buy it I had turned away because I live 1 minute from Stocklands so had ended up there. In any face i was not paying to replace a screen on a phone i never authourised to be replaced or wanted. Now this afternoon after he agreed to put my old cracked screen back and just call the deal off I arrive and his equally rude minion tried to say I broke their screen on the (5) anyway. I did not. It was in a case and so perhaps they did or I actually could not even see a crack and was there with my 12 month old baby so was not in a position to really argue with him. Fixed our dinosaur home theatre remote in a week! – Rang on Valentine’s Day to hear “yes, we should be able to help, bring it in, $89 to have a look.” Got an email and SMS on 22 Feb to say remote was cleaned, rewired and resoldered for another $60. take it to another repairer) the receptionist was on the phone with another disgruntled customer. She told that customer in a very loud and aggressive voice;
" I am not a technician, I do not know when your device will be ready, come in an hours time and if it is not ready then you can take it somewhere else" This was followed by ubruptly hanging up with no "goodbye" at all, then much shaking of the head and mumbling "blimey".
Is that any way to treat customers????
