Im a legacy customer of Georges. Ive been shopping with the since the 80s. I love they are a family company and their service is always wonderful. This partiular visit I got a great deal on a filter and lots of product advice on other filter options

Keeps selling stock they don’t have – Same as everyone else, they are selling stock they don’t have and then claim they are doing nothing wrong. Hey guys take a look at all these complaints and understand you have a problem here. If I saw these reviews I would never have tried to purchase from you.
Small businesses AVOID – Cheap prices look attractive but when the bottom has fallen out of the customer service, it’s best to avoid this store. Still waiting for my refund – Like most of the customers here, I purchased an item from the website (a Sony A7siii, valued 4,184.00) and they were out of stock. In the website it doesn't say it is out of stock, it only says it will ship between 4-8 days. would take 2 days to go through with the refund and they later said it would take from 5 to 7 days. It's been 10 days and although I sent them 3 emails and called several times, I didn't get one reply. It is the most distressing situation. I'll be in Sydney next week and I will go to the store personally to check if they are real, because it looks like a scam.
SCAMMER alert – Just like what is said in rest of the reviews. They just hold onto your money and wait until you ask for a refund. These guys are scammers. Listing items that are not in stock. False advertising, holding on to your money and rude staff – Paid $1600 for a second hand sony 24-70 f2.8. Had to chase them after a week of not hearing from them. After a long wait on the phone I was told that they had no stock. The item is still advertised online. After several calls I was told that my refund will take another week. False advertising, holding on to buyers' money and rude staff. Will never buy anything from them again.

Took money and gave nothing – This store took my money after misleading me that an item was in stock. They kept lying about the status of the order and refused to provide any level of customer service. The phone lines never answer during business hours and their live chat system is a fake and does not work at all. Show details
Follow-up · No idea. It was 2 years ago but the fact it has taken so long for you to respond shows the lack of customer service your company provides. It's no wonder I have not bothered using your company since. I stand by the original rating and wish I could give you a negative rating.

An appalling business model these days. Was good when I shopped in 1983-2008 but very rude and unprofessional now. Interpersonal communication = zero and you do get plenty of indication that this is purposely and consistently played out each time you transact with each and every employee. Shop elsewhere. I was even ridiculed for asking for my invoice. 5 months to deliver a lens? Go fool somebody else you should not be in business. A nasty drop shipping outfit is all this business has become. Do not be fooled by “in stock” when you order because it changes quickly to “awaiting stock”. The epitome of arrogance. And don’t expect any monetary interest refund for the months they have held your deposit.
Crawlingly slow shipping times. Ordered sensor cleaning swabs that were in stock. Took 9 days to ship. On contacting them I was informed they were busy and it takes time for them to send items between stores for dispatch. Postage showed as 3-7 days. At cutrent estimates I will recieve the item 21 day after puchase. Not good enough. Won't be shopping there again.

comparison. We had good dialogue on the pros and cons of both as he also asked what I was primarily taking pictures of - in this case wildlife. He was informative throughout and thoroughly professional from a sales aspect. Resulted in the sale of the 150-500 lens. I only hope my photography doesn’t let the lens down.
